So happy I came across this video.. I’m planning on doing all the props for my daughters 2nd birthday but never done anything like this before.. you definitely made this super easy to understand, I’m going to do a practice one first of course but thank you so much for ALL details Very helpful. Can’t wait to get started..
Thanks for the video! I found this just in time to make a whole set of characters for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday-I did Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and Pete. As the "visitors in my office grew I giggled each time I walked and saw them. Thanks for the inspiration and now I am sure I will be making many for the other grandkid's birthdays. You made the whole process very easy to follow and therefore I wasn't overwhelmed when my daughter asked for more than just Mickey and Minnie.
I need a little help. It always seems like the black background print comes out a bit smaller and the colored print runs out of run to fit on the black print when i try to glue them together ☹️☹️☹️ i have the circuit explorer 3
Can you explain what slicing is and why you have to do all that? It seems very confusing and hard. I’m really wanting a circut machine but I feel overwhelmed. Especially when it comes to the beginning of seperating his body parts.
WOW AWESOME VIDEO, can you please tell me the colors of the cardstocks I got the golden yellow, but for the red and the sink and mouth what color are to buy them
Am trying to watch your video and do what you did, but can’t find Mickey Mouse in my images, how did u purchase and add them to your cricut, was it through uploads?
So I did it and as soon as I'm ready to make it I have to check out but I can't find a way to buy it so I'm very frustrated because it came out so nice OMG.
Leap of crafty my name is Stella and I have been looking at videos on how to make my image bigger than my mat and I'm getting frustrated for 3 days can u help step by step
@@LeapofFaithCrafting thank you is there a specific number cause i see numbers on the paper stock. Yes I’m new n trying to learn. Sorry. Thank you for ur video. XOXO
Hello I'm new to cricut, I normally just make everything by hand. Until my husband said I did to much and bought me the cricut lol my question, was this made on canvas or cricut design. I'm on cricut design and anytime I try and make it as big as the dollar tree poster board it says it doesn't support it. I'm doing rugrats for my sons birthday next month and I want to have it down. L please help!!
Yes, you can't make anything bigger than 11.5x23.5 unless you're using an Explore 3. You'll need to slice everything into smaller sections and tape it together!
Best video ever omg😁 Thanm youuuuu! Just a few questions what brand is the self healing may and size and the black cardstock is it from the same link or company u posted?
I think CDS has them again. I looked again a few days ago and saw them for purchase. Or I'm sure you can find one on Etsy since some of those are Cricut images.
You prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can give me!
Can you please clarify how you "press your control" in order to slice the image? I cannot for the life of me get the slice option to even show on my screen. Thank you in advance
Really great video - it really isn't that difficult now that I've seen this! Definitely not a beginner project. I'd recommend folks get some experience using their Cricuts before they tackle something this involved. Thanks again, well done, chica! :)
Are you down to just one layer of the image? Images won't slice until you've ungrouped them or detach them (sometimes multiple times) until they are down to a single layer. You'll know it's a single layer when the "ungroup" or "detach" icons don't show up when its clicked on. I Hope that makes sense!
The foam sheet as a backing is genious! I was going to just get the thickest craft paper I could find and hope for the best, I just hate the sound of cutting foam 😫😫
Great idea I’m new to cricut the part of video where you were slice I felt was a bit unclear, but thankyou hope you do more xx

Thank you. You made it look so simple and I believe now I can do it … love how you explained everything
Hello, did you purchase the image from Cricuit design space?
Can’t find flesh tone cardstock. Where can I purchase it ?
Hello would you be so kind to provide me with the color paper you use for the face and where I can get it. Thank you so much

Hi I’m trying to do it but my cricut design is saying that 20” and 27 is too large and won’t let me slice please let me know what I should do
How do you search for an image? I am new to DS.
Best video I’ve seen on doing this! Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Hey what size is the foam board?
Can the cricut cut the foam board. Rather than using the craft knife
No, unfortunately not. I did try before but it's too thick to get in it. I haven't tried to find a thinner one though.
Great video! I made my first one last night. It was so much fun. Thank you!
I think they are so fun to make too!
Can you do this using a Cricut explore 2 ?
Yes!! It's just cutting cardstock, so you can definitely use the Explore family!
My cutouts didn’t match it was smaller then the black outline. Do you know how to fix that ?
What software are you using
How come I can't find disney images on design space?
Can the maker not cut the foam board?
Thanks for sharing this very informative video. Very understandable and easy to follow if you’re a Cricut Design space user.
Hi! Do you offer tutorials on how to do this!
I love it I’ll have to give it a try
Leap of crafty my name is Stella and I have been looking at videos on how to make my image bigger than my mat and I'm getting frustrated for 3 days can u help step by step
When I’m doing these I’m having way too much of the black background showing how do I fix it
So cute! And detailed
What material did you use for the stock paper
Cricut cardstock!
@@LeapofFaithCrafting thank you is there a specific number cause i see numbers on the paper stock. Yes I’m new n trying to learn. Sorry. Thank you for ur video. XOXO
how do you do this on a regular computer? like what dimensions?? everytime i try to do this in cricut space it gets so big i cant see anything
Thank you ❤
Great tutorial thank you for sharing
How long does it usually take you to clean up and load into DS before printing???
I just did one this way and it took me 3-4 hours
can this be done using 8.5xx11 paper? I don't have nay 12x12 paper and would love to try this..
It could, you would just need to slice everything so it fits on an 8.5x11 sheet.
You are Amazing! You made that look so easy!! Thank you for sharing this video! I am now ready to try and create my grandson's 3rd birthday!
Please what's the name of the application she's working on? Can anybody help?
What do you mean application? I'm assuming software. It's Cricut Design Space!

So you don't need photoshop for this particular type of project? Meaning to make the images larger?
No, it can all be done in CDS if you have the cut files!
This was an awesome video! Thank you i was able to follow along with no problems
I love the way u did it I just need to figure out how to do the thing with the skin that was kinda confusing but I will get it.
Sorry if it was confusing! Sometimes once you play around with it yourself it gets easier!
Great video..very clear..thank you.
Can you make them bigger?
You are so welcome! Yes, you can!! It's just more slicing but you definitely can!
Can you make this on silhouette portrait machine 1?
I've never used a Silhouette so I'm not sure, sorry!
@@LeapofFaithCrafting O okay, Thx!
Also it was kind if hard to see but what did u weld back together?
It's all taped together. I taped the back of the cardstock together before I cut it on my 12x24 mat.
Best video ever omg😁 Thanm youuuuu!
Just a few questions what brand is the self healing may and size and the black cardstock is it from the same link or company u posted?
Thank you! The self healing mat is Cricut and is 18x14. Black cardstock is 12x12 Cricut brand that is taped together.
What color, brand and weight did you use for the face
I assume that all card stock was the same weight
Yes, it is all the Cricut brand cardstock!
What size is this ??
Can you show how to do this with Bambi theme
It's a wonderful video, where did you buy the cardboard? Thank you so much
Where can I find this exact Mickey?
I think CDS has them again. I looked again a few days ago and saw them for purchase. Or I'm sure you can find one on Etsy since some of those are Cricut images.
Can you also do this with removable vinyl to make decals for walls? Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video. I am about to try this now!
This was incredibly helpful! My daughter's birthday is coming up and I wanted to do a cocomelond theme shes obsessed Thank you!
You prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?

Can you please clarify how you "press your control" in order to slice the image? I cannot for the life of me get the slice option to even show on my screen. Thank you in advance
Becky You can only slice 2 images at the same time, so make sure you only highlight two things at once and the option should pop up
@@alejandragarcia1619 thank you so much for responding I actually figured it out haha. Have a great day
Love your work great video. Where do you get your cardstock for Mickey face and his shoes?
All of this was Cricut brand cardstock. They had a ton of colors when I made these, hopefully they still do!
This is the BEST tutorial ever!!! Thank you so much :)))
Thank you for this video! ❤
Everything was clear except the slicing. Was a little to fast to understand exactly what you did.
Thank you.
Hi there! I bought all of the materials to make this however I can not find the images.. please help!
The images seem to come and go in CDS. I had them from a cartridge I bought. You can buy them on Etsy though!
Pls tell me where to get the large tap runner and what brand it is ty. What give tape it uses ty
It is a Scotch tape glider! There is a link to it in the description above!
Really great video - it really isn't that difficult now that I've seen this! Definitely not a beginner project. I'd recommend folks get some experience using their Cricuts before they tackle something this involved. Thanks again, well done, chica! :)
I don’t even know why I’m watching this but I loved it! Lol 😆
wow! super cute and easy to do!! Thank you very much!💕☺️
You’re welcome 😊
Do you have to use cricut brand card stock? Great video
No, any cardstock should work !
Dumb question but what kind of paper are you using and where were you able to purchase it ? Can’t seem to find 12x24 paper.
It's actually just 12x12 cardstock that is taped together on the backside!
thank you I did it and it was great!
ok I;m not a newbie been using Cricut for quite a while. On my laptop I cannot get my image to slice out. HELP please

hiya when i search nickey it comes up with no images
CDS sometimes takes them in and out I've noticed. You can find images on Etsy usually!
For the foam board you could just paste the picture on board make a knife hot on stove and cut it out.
Can you post the mindcraft tutorial
Love it 😍 thanks very good tutorials
Hi this is awesome, can you make a video on how just to print them ?
You mean printing and not using a Cricut at all??
@@LeapofFaithCrafting can I make these without a cricut
thank you so much
Do I really need a circuit for this?
If you have software that you could increase and print in sections and then cut them by hand, tat might work???
@@LeapofFaithCrafting go u no any software
Thank you for sharing, Great Job!!
Finally! Great video!
Great video! TFS
thank you sm❤❤
Omg it’s not as easy as it looks lol I wanted to buy the circut machine to do my baby shower centerpieces but it looks too complicated for me 😢
It's a learning curve for sure, but once you get used to it, it gets easier! It's definitely not a quick project!
