I do agree that the game lacked a lot of the focus that made Grow Home so charming, but the movement in Grow Up became a lot more fun and interesting as a result of having more options for sure.
It looks fun game, the first one that is. I think it's more because the lack of any story in Grow Home, it doesn't take itself seriously. It also sells me outright seeing the distance of how much you have traveled, rather than being hidden by LOD or some other render limit. Also thanks from sub.
Yeah, Grow Up likes to tell you that you reached a new climbing limit with text. Meanwhile Grow Home you're always at your new climbing limit naturally and the game conveys it to you without sying anything. The sequel is such a shame that it makes me wonder if the first was as good as it was by accident.
I had a lot of nostalgia with grow up I never even knew it was a sequel I would make worlds every time I played it I legit only beat it once but for some reason I loved starting a new game and going to the frost area to speed run getting a frost flower😅 I should try grow home since I loved grow up.
I played grow home in 2015 and only just played grow up in 2023! I remember loving the first game and being totally captured by its raw unique style. I think all things considered grow up is a good sequel, but there’s nothing like nostalgia
🙂 Broh, Grow Up is pretty much the same idea as in Steep & Riders Republic & Crewfest, its an open box sand world to just mess around in, pick em all up and Zen out
I Bought a GTX 970 and this is the first game I played. About 9 years later, today, I am finally upgrading my gpu . I bought a RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the first game I will play is Grow Home's successor Jusant.
Grow up was a blast and the movement was amazing, I just wish it were longer

When i finished grow up i just used it to vibe with sum music and, honestly i kinda fell inlove with that game, idk why tho
I agress, its similar idea in other Ubisoft games such as Steep and Riders Republic
Love throwing myself from the higher areas in grow up and getting caught in an orbit around the planet
Im pretty late but both games are incredible thats what i think, the world in both of them is awesome also the mechanics of it, just beautiful

He's a gift to us all.
The same problems Portal 2 has compared the first one
?
@@papscal1690 too much mise en scène, not enough simplicity
I loved what Portal 2 added to the world, it's one of the few games I feel properly comfortable saying is perfect
