I’m only on stage 14 but already ordered this mod for myself. I can’t wait to see what else Mike has in store for the dash. He’s hinted that there’s more to come, so until then my dash will remain unassembled. Thanks for the video - it’s looking awesome!

That is so cool, the little screens with the animation is just perfect and really adds to the model.
That is so cool! I also follow Kinght Rider Historians, and in their last video Mike Lane had sent them over a package of pritty much all the 'Mods' that he does. I did comment that you are doing this build, and pointed them in your direction. They have two Original Screen used K.I.T.T s and the cab/tractor unit and the original trailer from the show, that they are restoring.

This is the one mod that is on my MUST HAVE list.
the tv mod is a class little feature there! i wonder at some point, that card maybe upgradable with a few other things, but updated through the USB.
I enjoyed this video and my order is already in just waiting now as I now this mod is made to order.

Been wondering about adding this mod to my model for a few weeks as I wasn't sure how it would connect to a 3rd party power mod. Your video really helps. Thankfully, I've deliberately held off from fully assembling or installing the dash until I decide what I'm doing.
Just got mine yesterday. I’m only on issue 30 odd so hopefully I’ll just filter it in as I get to that part with no problem. I had a bit of trouble the last couple days with some pipes popping off and then not seeing where the hell they came from so I think I’ll be leaving them off now as they don’t actually do anything lol.
I’m not into model building normally but I bought KITT as I aways loved Knight Rider and gotta say, I’m enjoying myself building this one.
I am waiting for this mod to arrive - can’t wait 😛
Going to be ordering the parts. Before I put it in the dashboard. Right now I just finished the suspension.

Fantastic! I saw this on Mike's website and sent him a huge Thanks and Congratulations 👋👍on an exceptional mod! I share your concern to add a mod where you have to take the car apart. I love Power Mods that replace batteries. Most of the cars we build you have to turn the car over to get to the battery compartment. What possibly can go wrong with that. And it eliminates the worry to remember to remove the batteries to prevent corrosion; but then again, for me the car is 99% just a static model.
Well done! It's amazing what 3rd party mods can do to improve the original product. And don't worry about spare parts. As long as it still works afterwards, and doesn't catch fire or explode. You know you did the job right. LOL

Is a great looking mod, spoken to Mike recently about a static mod and wanted the bezels but I think I'll do my own, I think you might need to take it apart again as the screens really show how rubbish the other dash parts look, check out the mods I did to my dash to add some colour and take care of the light bleed

I've been on the fence about this mod as Mike doesn't say how long it will take to make.
I got burnt by chloe on the delorean flux which took over six months and had not want to sit around worrying when I can restart the build.
Looks good so will ghink a bit more about it now that I have seen it in action
I ordered mine and it was delivered in about 2 weeks. It turned up yesterday I think it was but I’m only on issue 30 odd so haven’t even opened the box yet. I’m not a model builder normally but I’m impressed with all this so far.

It's probably too late now, but I thought I would at least mention it for those who may not be past assembling the dashboard computer council. If you place some cotton behind the computer screens it will defuse LED better over the screens eliminating the hot spot in the middle.

Hi we all really like kitt from the original tv show knight rider tv show but they had only 2 tv films in the past we are still waiting for the new movie that David who played as Michael knight told the fans the film is coming out but we have not heard anything about it yet they had kr reboot in 2008 tv show and team knight rider tv show in the past I will keep looking about the movie is coming out soon or not
Knight Rider Mike Lane Screen Mod
Hello there, good step by step video to install mike lane dash board screen. I am trying to figure out where the black and grey lines go on the mother board. And I see there is a slot for another line on the dashboard. I have the black line and the black and grey line plug into the new dash board mod. Is that that the only line that needs to be plug into the back of the dashboard? Any help please
I figured it out. Everything is working great. Glad I bought the upgrade mod
I think they are listed if you are using it as a power mod as well. I didn’t check the instructions for that

Does KITT have a battery in him, or do you have to plug him into a wall for all the lights and music and all the stuff to work? I didn't get it yet so I'm just asking.
It’s battery powered but I chose to convert mine so it plugs into a wall socket

As long as the other dashboard elements light it should be fine. I haven’t heard of any issues with these. Have you contacted Mike?

@@WorldofWayneUK lights all work just want it to animated i.e showing video of Devon for example and car Diags picture so looks more realistic I thought was a upgrade for this from fan home...
