Wildfire smoke can cool or warm the air temperature. It depends on the type of particles and which level they are located in the atmosphere. It also depends a lot on the color of the smoke particles. Darker particles will absorb the light and heat up the air around them.
Congratulations on your new truck! You’ve worked very hard and absolutely deserve it. I’m very happy for you. I’m very suspicious of these fires that happen every year, and are increasing like clockwork.
"""I’m very suspicious of these fires that happen every year...""" Fires are supposed to happen often in nature to do away with forest clutter on the ground so new trees have room to grow. Many seeds require fire to activate germination. For selfish reasons, humanity made every effort to prevent fires over the past century, resulting in a buildup of forest clutter. As a consequence, the fires now burn hotter and encompass larger areas. Controlled burns would have satisfied nature and safeguarded humanity's assets, but tree huggers, communities populated by ignotards, and state and private logging forests sealed the deal, resulting in the problematic situation we are experiencing today.
That’s our wedding anniversary. We were supposed to go to Niagara Falls but cancelled due to the smoke. Thanks for sharing. We live in boring Connecticut.
Being from the province of Quebec, it started raining this week. Hopefully good news for the wildfires up in Abitibi region )close the the James bay area) I hope it continues to 🌧🌧🌧 as one of my aunts still living is living close to those fires. She showed me a few of her region photos. It'S bad, like i think it could get a lot worse before winter.
I lived near Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada and it is a high mountain desert climate, humidity was usually 10-15% range, forest grows at higher altitudes because snowpack holds moisture longer than rain.
I live in California and the worst we had was the wildfires started from a freak lightning storm that lasted 3 days nonstop back in 2020. Woke up one day wondering why the mailman was delivering packages at midnight, looked outside and it was nothing but smoke and deep red skies.
I was on the Kengamengas highway last week and there was a part where water was up to the roads edge and was prob gonna flood over the road with rain in the forecast. You could see the culvert marker, definately super blocked. I was like damn wheres Post10 when you need him.
We just had AQI of 240+ out here in the midwest a few days ago. I've lived in some of the most polluted places in the world, but never anything like this Canadian wildfire smoke. Take care.
Yes. Here it was that high too last month in Philadelphia. Just the past few days, it’s high again too. It’s not easy to do day to day things. I wear the mask outside but have to put on air conditioning inside but the air still travels inside. Eyes burning, throat dry, don’t know what the long term affects will be.
Evidently smoke layers reflect the sun so it should make the temp a few degrees cooler. But just looking at all this smoke makes me feel warmer and the smell is bad
California burns down yearly. Washington can have some epic fires. Again, Canada can cause issues, but so can Montana, Idaho, and Oregon when it comes to fires. I work in local emergency rooms and the poor air quality can really make people very miserable.
All i kept looking at is the smudge on the windshield lol
Me too😎
🤭
Me three 😅
Same
The last thing that went through that bugs mind was his own ass
Nice ride! Thanks for taking us along.
That’s a nice new truck David. Seems like you can get to a lot more places reliably.

I believe you with the camera, I tried to take a picture with my phone on how orange the sky looked, but the camera told a different story 🤦♂️
I love when you take us on road trips with you
It got bad here in the Chicago area too. I’m truck driving at night, see the smoke long distance down the interstates with the street lights on.

Thank you for the ride.😊
Ops, I thought I had a smudge on my cell until you said it was a bug on your windshield 😁
i thought it was smoke from the fire 😬

I am from Québec too and today, 2 of july, it is smoky again but with the heavy rain yesterday, it helped a lot the fire fighters. Bonjour du Québec.
Here in Syracuse NY it’s been horrible. But last month we tipped the meter.

Nice drive!
Glad you are doing well! Did you get a Tacoma? I have one and love it. Cheers 🍻
Connecticut had a lot of smoke Friday. Still have some today.
It’s already been a long summer. And it’s just begun. (Hope that made sense). Happy Canada Day to my fellow citizens!

We got the effects in Western PA this week. I think its started on June 28th.
The air quality makes it look humid
Are you enjoying your new truck?
Definitely, heavy Vehicles ride better can't feel any bumps much better for my job off-road
I live in Washington and agree with you it looks alot like Washington state GREEN!!!!! ps clean the junk off windshield it keeps effecting view focus
It's been the same down here in Virginia.
I had a really hard time hearing you in this video - all I could hear was the truck engine. Pretty interesting drive, though. Enjoyed, as usual.
same here 😅
LoL I can't believe it, Post 10 actually destroying a wild creature with his new vehicle 😅
The bug that hit my windshield?
@@post10Vlogs lol yeah 😅 gotta tease ya somehow
We're just down from Ontario and we have been in just that all week. And it smelled like a car burning. Hopefully it will clear by Monday for us.

Post do you live in Maine? I have a cousin in Millinocket. Ever been there
So are you enjoying the new truck?
Why haven't I seen any oncoming traffic?
There's a wide median with grass and trees. The incoming traffic is on the other side.
It's worse than that in New York again today and yesterday.
Not as bad as it was a couple days ago where I live in Canada I live 3hrs away from the fires
Behind all that awful smoke is a beautiful sun
👍👍👍👍👍🍀
What year is your Toyota
Safe travels
Hi
Wow.
Our air wuality was up around 200 for about 2 days. Looked like very heavy fog and uou could smell it
👍👍👍👍

👍🌞!!!!!!
It makes no difference what interstate you are on, they all look the same when you get out of town.
😕
probably should of cleaned that bird poop or whatever it is on your windshield lol

It would have taken less than 90 seconds to pull over and clean that one bug splat. Where is your professionalism Post?
This is the worst I’ve ever seen, and I’m 68 years old. Thanks 10.
Yuck
Bad air quality again in nj
