It's a crime he's not been! Richard Ayoade would be actually awesome there in equal amount too. Would be a wonderfully funny cameo, be either a regular 'goth' vampire, or maybe as a Psychic Vampire to rival Colin Robinson!
That scene where Jen opens the door to find Richmond and screams actually has a very funny blooper where after the scream, Noel quickly closes the door again! Bloody hilarious
My best friend worked for ITV, as a database engineer, and was known as Freddy the Goth. A couple of years before this came out. Amd Cradle of Filth is epic
Oh my god i recently started listening to cradle of filth and the name was bugging me because i knew i heard it somewhere and of course it was It crowd 😂
The voiceover joke didn’t make sense. Why was it a joke that he would do voiceover work? He has a nice sounding voice, speaks well and is very easy to understand. I’m American so maybe it’s an accent thing that I’m not catching on to??
It's because that's most of what Katherine Parkinson did in between the original run of the show and that scene. While Noel Fielding is something of a name in VO now, at the time that joke was written he'd barely dipped his toe in while Parkinson's voice was all over TV and radio advertisements in the UK (still is)
Back then people could bring themselves to enjoy things instead of being insufferable cynics who complain about everything constantly and bring everyone down because they think it makes others think they're intelligent.
Noel really needs to be on What We Do in the Shadows.
AH HE WOULD MAKE A KILLING IN THAT SHOW
Would make a fantastic guest appearance! I'd pay to see that

Omg yes
HAHHA like he just walks through the background or the camera pans by him in a cubicle 😂
Its just the "AAAGH! Sorry i forget you work here". Gets me everytime 😂
Back when database engineers were dark and mysterious 💀
and not trooned out sex pests
More like pale and sweaty.
0:25 to be fair, I work in IT today and still have this reaction to natural sun light

I have accepted that I am a moleperson and the sun shall forever be my enemy

Best role Noel ever played.
Old Greg would have a word with you.
Maybe I will deal with it. Maybe I'll deal with it the way I dealt with Curly Jefferson!
The hitcher cmon
“Carlsberg, perfect!” Noel’s inner Chav shines through 😂
tony 3 pies?
@@loobyloo7840 have you seen someone wearing 3 pies?
@@Prawnslyno but I’ve seen someone with a brass hand
That stance and face he makes when Jen opens the red door always gets me.
Noel is incredible! Why dont people appreciate him half as much anymore?! 😢
He was the best thing in the show.
I want to see the entire Goth 2 Boss program.
"I think this is my one," lives in my head rent free.

Amd Cradle of Filth is epic
It's not a real cradle of filth.
@@StefanTravis really? /S
@@kikidevine694 No, that would be horrible.
@@StefanTravis depends what you're in to
Absolutely brilliant show. Infinitely rewatchable.
richmond needed more screentime, especially with moss
God Noel Fielding is so god damn hot.
he so babygirl
The dinner party was my favorite.
His new show, The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, is adorable!
I love it so much. It is in the same ballpark as Our Flag Means Death ❤
how many adventures can a car really go on, though?
@@grumblefkitty fantastic reference
This show brought me so much joy!
Needed a disk for Netflix to work and they had this show on there!!!
Good times😊
I was waiting for the ceiling scene..
I was starting to get worried as the progress bar slid further and further to it's inevitable demise
RICHMOND MY BELOVED!!!!!!!!!
I grew up in Richmond (some decades ago) and I know exactly why it's his namesake.
can't help but love richmond
The voice he puts on has such Francis Bourgeois vibes - I mean they’re both from London but still all I can think of is trains watching this
I desperately want someone at British Bake-off to make a Richmond themed anything and if not that an Eels Up Inside Ya themed something.
Desperatly
That show was just so good….
Agreed and I'm American!
"If you want me you know where to find me" **floats away**
Oh good heavens he looks like Prince William with blond hair. 😳
You are right!😂he does
He looks even better than William 😂
Oh my god i recently started listening to cradle of filth and the name was bugging me because i knew i heard it somewhere and of course it was It crowd 😂
Well I now have a new favorite character lol😂
being Goth myself, I know exactly what Richmond goes through with others.
but I don't really care, I am happy with my solitary life .
you don't want to become a boss?
@@CorvusCorone68 I am my own boss thank you !
I used to work at a place which had a similar IT crowd 😅
Gotta love him!

Legendary character
Ahh its him. The man who formed one of the mishapen chunks of my personality.
the time has come- to rise again. freedom lift thy sewered hem. Free from beasts and skewered men
Noel is lovely even on Bake Off
I think I might have missed a few episodes! 😂
I miss seeing Noel and Julian in stuff
“Cool it Richmond, or you’ll get a knuckle supper!”
This was such a funny show.
I totally agree! This show is one of my favorites!
I feel like there might be a lot of nosferatu references here 😂
If corporate goth were a tv show
Did Noel just wear his own clothes?😅
wait why did i not know richmond had a last name
Actually, his full name is Richmond Felicity Avenal.
I'm Richmond on a sunny day.
I want a little Drinky Crow for my desk ;w;
The life of a System Administrator.
What happened to Richmond? He got scurvy.
5:03 how to talk to girls
He was hardcore fan of Ghost
An old wind is blowing…
Man, there was a boy at my school who dressed like all edgy and emo anime characters

I cant believe i just stumbled upon this show, fuckin british humor lands for me sometimes. Its just as stupid as my American humor.
Oh how I wish I had my own Richmond ❤️🩹💯
Do I amaze you?

I’m American so maybe it’s an accent thing that I’m not catching on to??
I think it's because Noel had done some voice-over work since the original show wrapped
It's an exaggerated silly voice, not many people would actually speak like that so it would be unusual to hear in VO
It's because that's most of what Katherine Parkinson did in between the original run of the show and that scene.
While Noel Fielding is something of a name in VO now, at the time that joke was written he'd barely dipped his toe in while Parkinson's voice was all over TV and radio advertisements in the UK (still is)
I don't recognize the scenes where they look older like the one with the VO joke. Did the show return somehow?
@@biasedlyunbiased I'm not British, but I doubt it. I think it was a bit for a special or awards show.
I’d date Richmond
