Insane fishing action. Love the editing style on this video.
Appreciate that & awesome to hear you enjoyed it🙏🙏 Yeah man, going after snapper in heavy structure like that is always pretty intense...so exciting!!
Yew!! Nice work brother!! I was just a few weeks early but Things to know for next time! Love the videos! 🔥
Hey Tim, thanks man...yeah, it's hard to predict & the conditions have been a bit of a mess as you know but always the next adventure to look forward to!!
Very amazing brother....🐟🐟🐟🐟
Pretty special those snapper for sure & awesome that you enjoyed it...thank you 🙏
@@desertgallosfishing thank you so much
The fact that you can use 80lb braid with 100lb leader with the drag locked down and STILL lose is insane. Those fish are just ungodly powerful
Tell me about it...they are something else!! Quite a lot comes down to reflexes & being able to get the upper hand first...if you can stop them from getting back down to where they came from then you've got a decent chance of landing them.
Hi mate where best places to catch big cubera 🎉🎉🎉
i think i went this spot before. but during high tide is hella scary. u even climb. omg
Nice bro ;)
Cheers from quivira 😊
Hey David, cheers man...I appreciate that👍I'm sure we will see each other out on the beach again pretty soon...
Awesome footage brother! Will they still be around late July or now's the time?
Thanks man, I appreciate that!! 🙏 July is when we usually get the mullet run with big schools congregating along the shore which of course attracts a lot of attention from the predatory fish so yes, you can definitely find them in July. It's an awesome time of the year to fish here.
i just rewatch and u spoke u spend a month searching for cubrera. wow.. I mean does morning or sunset bite is better for those? I am returning back to cabos. I might try to catch those sand crabs and throw a sinker and a hook
Hey Rick, when they are around, both the early morning & afternoon can be productive.
Thank you. Very much. Yeah. Especialy sunrise and need to arrive before so is hard. Most of these rocks are super inaccesible so dangerous some time. Yes lets see
Way cool video, what rod and reel set up are you using?
Cheers man🙏 Sorry for the late reply...was using a century slingshot 144m with a Daiwa BG 6500...think I was running 80lb braid with a 100lb fluoro leader only because of the very heavy structure & target species...kind of a necessity.
Way cool, thanks for the information. Do you fish down in Baja Mexico a lot?
@@jasonallen7779 Yeah, I am based permanently in Southern Baja...if you're interested you might want to check out my site which is linked in the description of this video.
I will be fishing everyday from June 25th - July 8th. If I see you I will say hi
Definitely a good chance so please do 👍
@DesertGallos Fishing I have an airbnb on dreams for 2 weeks. Just incase water hasn't warmed and the grandes haven't turned the corner for the pacific. I was a little early last year and only got 1 40lber up at the lighthouse
@@teddynesius3606 You're definitely going to be in a great spot there & not too much of a mission to move around from there if you have to chase them a bit...all part of the adventure. I hope you have an awesome trip but hopefully we see each other on the beach.
What size reel?
which spot is this?
What country is this?
This is Southern Baja, Mexico.
