Steven Seagal is a true warrior of men.

What style of Aikido is this? It looks more hardcore and a bit more realistic than what I'm use to seeing? Seagal seems to really steamroll through opponents!

@hudders128 exactly what i did ....found my WT really helped with the learning of Aikido, still use my WT footwork with it though but works out pretty good and im always sticking the hands and elbows in there, they also seem to fit right in ..
The two styles to me always now feel to be made for each other.
There probably alot of good schools around or Daito Ryu schools which is more a straight approach harsh Aikido rather than the more circular Aikido.

@darrenwtis Even osensei aikido seems quite heavy duty. getting 3 guys to run at a student with everything theyve got isnt the "useless dancing" you hear all the mma guys going on about. I have recently found a couple of dayto ryu aikijitsu schools im going to start sooner than 5 years i think. my WT sifu is very practical, i dont like the "kata" style. We have to learn the forms but he teaches the forms in the practical situation. The daily routine of si lim tao is expected to be done at home.

i think this is o sensei. from my research it seems like this art is for use in battle with two armies running at each other. you lose your sword and then fall into this style as the press pushes you forward you let loose but they dont fall nicely you throw em onto ther head breaking necks or shoulders etc. not really applicable anymore but i reckon in a big brawl or riot situation a good aikido practitioner has most chance of coming through it. If only i had the patience and steadfastness.

I'm very curious. I see Joe Rogen and others talk so much smack about Steven Seagal but there never any proof. It makes me wonder if he's telling the truth about Carlos Mencia. For a guy who believes in psychological drugs and "trips", I just wanted for the truth. If it's Seagal, fine. If it's Rogen, fine. Please, someone find the truth post it. For years people accused Bill Cosby and the truth put him behind bars. So who's telling the truth? Rogen or Seagal?
