I have a friend who use to work with the man so I'm pretty sure my friend of 22yrs, that worked with him on "Marked for Death" And "Under Siege" Also studied & trained with him would know him better than Any "info on the internet" Of course when I first met him I called B.S. but video, pictures, letters from him etc. Cannot be faked. I have literally watched a dozen videos of my boy getting his ass handed to him....by none other than Steven himself. Don't try to have a senseless argument with me, at the end of it all....if I wanted ur opinion..id give it to u, why because ur opinion is irrelevant to me. It's called Ubi tori, finger/hand techniques, and if you look closely it's the thumb that he's controlling. It's one of his specialties. When you squeeze the fingers in the right spots/sides of the knuckles, it's really hard to escape from. Think of the hourglass shape of a bowling pin and how the flared out portion makes it hard to pull the pin thru and out of your grip. I was recently in the E.R., being friendly and was surprised when my usually well met and 10th or so "how's your day going?" was met with a "not so good. I had an old guy grab my fingers today." Earlier I'd heard mention of an elderly combative man being discussed by the nurses in the hall. She said his wife told everyone that this old man was normally peaceful and sweet but was gong into dementia. I asked her "Did he squeeze your knuckles together like this so you couldn't pull your hand away?" she looked at me astonished and I knew that he'd been an Aikidoka at one time and still had good muscle memory.

Steve is a genuine Aikido Buddistic Master. A lot of the violence in his movies was overplayed by ecause Of Universal pictures insistence on violence at the time .. ( they were paying the bills ). He teaches NON VIOLENCE through VIOLENCE. If you watch him and his movies .. first there is His Presence, it does not matter what he is doing, Secondly in his movies after any violence there is most often a scene of meditation or contemplation .. one should not be in a hurry to criticise just what they see ( Vision is the LEAST reliable of our Five Senses ) Presence is Awareness, which is not of the five senses ( Neurology & Buddhism ) it is governed by the Pineal Gland ( The Gland Of Awareness ). Buddistic Aikido is the Art Of Soft Landings and Empathic Respect, not hard landings and brute force which is the Five Senses Arts.

Steven seagal is a load of rubbish there is no skill in his aikido he relies upon his uke to make the moves flow plus he always shows very low grade moves and relies on strength
