All big cities tend to be blue and have tons of minorites and very rarely do you hear about racial/hate crimes.
My man really became goku playing wukong, not wanting to fight weak things, asking people how strong they are; bouncing around gleefully from one point to another.
The Story of Wukong: Wukong’s origin traces back to one of China’s oldest myths. Long ago, after the goddess Nüwa fixed the sky with magical stones, one leftover stone was left on Earth. After thousands of years, this stone cracked open, and out came Wukong. This earned him his first title, “Stone Monkey.” His birth caused a massive shockwave that shook the palaces in the clouds, scaring the emperor of the gods. Wukong became the leader of the monkeys on Flower Fruit Mountain. This earned him his second title, “Handsome Monkey King.” He was happy at first, but then he saw the reality of life and death, which filled him with fear. He crossed the sea to the human world, learned their language, and found a master who taught him how to transform and fly using magic. Wukong visited the Dragon King’s palace and showed off his almost limitless strength, rudely demanding the god’s most prized weapon and armor. When the king of the underworld decided Wukong’s time was up, Wukong fought his way through hell, crossed out his name (and all the monkeys’ names) from the book of life and death, making them all immortal. After angering both the sea and underworld kings, the gods decided to try and recruit Wukong. At first, they underestimated him and gave him a lowly job as a stable hand. Wukong didn’t realize this was basically just a janitor job, and when he figured it out, he rebelled against heaven. This earned him the humiliating title “Bimawen” (the horse-tending monkey). If you want to get under his skin, call him that. After beating back the gods’ army, they tried to appease him again. Wukong demanded the title “QI TIAN DA SHENG” (Great Sage Equal to Heaven), and surprisingly, they agreed. This became his proudest title. But this title was all show and no power. Soon, Wukong realized he wasn’t getting the respect he deserved. Just like in other stories, he wasn’t invited to the big banquet. So, he crashed the party early, ate all the magical peaches, drank all the wine, and gobbled up the immortality pills (each god was supposed to get one). This time, the gods decided to take Wukong seriously, but here’s the embarrassing part: even with all their combined forces, they couldn’t catch him. So, they called in Erlang Shen, a god with a third eye. Erlang Shen, like Wukong, is a legendary figure with his own rich backstory. He’s one of the few who knows the same magic as Wukong. Erlang Shen’s mom was the emperor of the gods' sister. She secretly came down to Earth, married a mortal man, and gave birth to Erlang Shen. The emperor, punishing her for marrying a human, trapped her under a mountain. Erlang Shen grew up, split the mountain with an ax, and saved his mom. In the game, you’ll see him use that ax. He hates the emperor of the gods and runs an independent army, handling his divine duties but refusing anything outside of combat. Erlang Shen eventually cornered Wukong, and with help from other gods, they captured him. The gods locked Wukong in the strongest furnace, intending to burn him to ashes, but instead, he survived and gained golden, flame-filled eyes that could see through any disguise. He emerged from the furnace right in the middle of the gods’ palace and charged straight for the emperor of the gods. This time, the one who stopped him was the Buddha, also known as Shakyamuni or the Tathagata. The Buddha proposed a challenge, and Wukong accepted. He flew 108,000 miles, thinking he’d reached the end of the world, only to find himself still in the Buddha’s palm. The Buddha flipped his hand, turning it into a mountain that trapped Wukong underneath. Wukong stayed pinned under the mountain for 500 years until a Chinese monk named Xuanzang passed by. Xuanzang was on a journey to visit the Buddha and get the complete Buddhist scriptures. The Buddha instructed him to put a magical band on Wukong’s head. Whenever Wukong angered Xuanzang, the monk could recite a spell that would tighten the band, causing Wukong intense pain. Wukong became Xuanzang’s disciple in name, officially becoming a Buddhist monk and earning the title “Sun Xingzhe” (the monk in training). Despite having far more knowledge and skills than the mortal Xuanzang, Wukong’s monkey nature kept him mischievous, like a child. Wukong and Xuanzang had a complicated relationship. As a devout Buddhist, Xuanzang refused to kill any living being, even the bandits and monsters trying to eat him. Wukong, on the other hand, had no problem killing in battle, which often led to him getting punished by Xuanzang’s spell after saving his master. Yet, Wukong cared deeply for Xuanzang, enjoying their conversations and risking his life countless times to rescue him from monsters. Ironically, more than half the monsters they encountered were related to the gods, their servants, or their pets. These monsters used stolen divine artifacts to nearly kill Wukong multiple times. When Wukong finally defeated them, the gods would show up to prevent him from finishing them off. After surviving 81 challenges and defeating countless monsters, Wukong finally delivered Xuanzang to the Buddha. The Buddha declared that the journey had allowed Wukong to achieve enlightenment, granting him the title “Victorious Fighting Buddha.”
3:22 That's Xiao Tian Quan,or Heavenly Dog.He helps Erlang subdue demons. He's capable of magic, like shape-shifting. Erlang Shen, the guy with three eyes (his third eye can see through disguises and shoot lasers btw) probably has some respect on Wukong cause he's one of the guys sent to fight him at the beginning of the book (and he puts some really good fight that it's not until Lao Tzu helps with his diamond circlet/snare thing that Wukong finally got captured). He also helped Wukong hunt Nine-Headed Pest (if you know the green bird in the 2nd good ending that's the thing). 5:26 That's probably a reference to how Wukong defeated a copy of him: struck him in the eye and kills him.

The Story of Wukong:
Wukong’s origin traces back to one of China’s oldest myths.
Thank you for sharing! :)

3:22 That's Xiao Tian Quan,or Heavenly Dog.He helps Erlang subdue demons.He's capable of magic,like shape-shifting.

@@coolraygamingDodging is all you have in the game. There is a parry, but it's a spell that's on a cooldown. The heavy attacks feel satisfying, but the light attacks don't. You'll have to play around with spells and different stances if you want to have a good time. It ain't as satisfying as Sekiro if you enjoyed the parry system in that game imo.
Yea I would say this game has soul elements but isn’t exactly a souls like it, does have some god of war elements in it such as recharging special abilities. A pause menu that allows you to gain skills and many cutscenes and dialouge that’s far and few in souls games
19:16 "ur the man heimerdinger" i was giggleing a bit ngl
16:38 that's the aforementioned back scratcher
Please upload your full play-through of this, I’m already heavily invested
The clouds moving in the first fight gave my inner child such joy. This is truly next gen and it's beautiful
One of the coolest things I've ever seen in gaming, the volumetrics in this game are absolutely bonkers
I kinda prefer him uploading gameplay instead of streaming because my man is immersed.
Charlie really looked at Pangu's Axe crashing down and said he could tank that.
Looks phenomenal for their first title

Playing with Chinese voices and English subs is definitely 100 times better.
Doing the same, the English dub sounds pretty awkward.
But tiny white fonts on white BG is horrible to read and on top of that you need to read it fast because it will disappeared. You also will be missing half of what's going on during the game when trying to read subtitles.
Don't care how much "better" voice acting is with it's original language. Having to READ texts on the bottom of the screen while fast paced action is happening will ALWAYS be worse than actually enjoying the show/video in your native language. So I'm glad they dubbed the game or it would have been a pass for me.
