    Thanks. I’ve had mine for a month. I have not noticed any difference in mpg’s, but I can hear the turbos spool up better than before.

    Love the truck 🛻 your new filters look like k&n filters !
    That’s what I had on my 14 tundra !
    Sounds slightly different maybe 1 to 4 mpg !
    But that’s about it !!
    I think that is really owner preference !!!
    I like it !
    And if you like it that’s all it counts !!!
    Right now I can’t afford a new tundra !
    But I’ll be patient !

      AFE makes the TRD Filters, ones for the Tacoma are yellow and are AFE 7ply filters, the tundras are 5 ply AFE filters

    How is your fuel economy with V6 compared to 5.7 V8 ? Many people reported only 2-3 MPG better for V6.

      I know this isnt the 5.7 you are talking about but going from a hemi(2020 5.7 with MDS) to iforce max my highway mileage is about 1-2 mpg better and my city mileage is about 3-4 mpg better.I averaged about 20/15 with the hemi and the iforce max so far has been about 22/18.

    Do they have an air flow accelerator like they did for the second gen? With that setup i can get 19-21 MPG in my 2020 Sequoia on the highway.

    Anyone make blow off valves for the Tundras? I don’t care if it has a diverter valve or that it is less performance, it sounds so much cooler.

    Less restrictive = more dirt. Your engine oil will be dirtier faster.

      I think 295/70/18 you might have to take that front half mud flap

      Just put 35’s on and they fit perfectly. Slight unnoticeable rub at low speed in reverse that is nothing functional what so ever.

    How about a 5.7 with Harrop SC swap? Motor would last longer and sound much better.

      People say some really stupid stuff online.. why would he spend $80k on a brand new truck just to swap the engine? And why would trade in a 2nd gen with a 5.7 for a 3rd gen just to put the old motor back in? I'm not a troll but use your freaking brain.

      @@kloun1980 that v6 is a problem waiting to happen. I've watched various videos on changing the oil and such.... Just pay attention to all those hoses on the engine. They are carrying coolant and oil all over that engine with rubber..... Just wait.

      @@kloun1980 Okay. Wait till it dies. Then replace it. I was "making the point" that comparison he is making is bogus. That thing sounds terrible. Like it has a stuffy nose with a smoker's cough. I've owned three 5.7s. This new engine isnt' even close.

      Power gains would be minimal but the i force engine is certainly a powerful engine. Im getting between 18-21 mpg

    You will have less HP over time since the engine will wear out faster. The best oil filter is a good air filter. The extra dirt will wear out the engine and turbos.

      @@user-tb7rn1il3q I’ve been doing mechanic work for 28 years and have used these filters for the last 20. Not one issue of oil coated MAF sensor. Oil changes were always normal. Old school myth was all about not using these filters.

      @@alb.4089 I use them because the cost savings overtime is worth it. If I lived in a dusty area, stock is the way to go.

      The OEM Toyota paper filter is the best to preserve the engine and turbos.

      @@user-tb7rn1il3q They increase air flow as while as increase dirt flow. The only way to get more air flow is to increase the micron size of the dirt going through.

      @@wburtney5154 watch project farms video with car filter test. Just stick with the factory air filter, not worth the time or money for aftermarket filters.

      I ran a K&N filter on my first GEN tundra up to 400,000 miles. Never had a problem.

      @@robertrubel I ran stock air filters on my dodge. Every 10,000 miles I would get an air flow sensor code check engine light. I replaced the air filter.
      K&N filters will not destroy an engine for the life of the truck. And yes I know of Fords that have gone over 400,000 miles with K&N. Stock air filters will keep more dirt out.
