Loving your ENERGY!!! So happy you found a place to settle into, look at you moving already. The food you've been sharing in the clips looks absolutely delicious. I LOVE going to the library too. Definitely a smart choice to have a housewarming celebration outside of your home. Looking forward to your next video - Keep them coming!
thank you!!!! i cannot wait to visit the library! and yeahhhh, no housewarming here just yet! i want to reserve my home space for intentional vibes only
Love your Spirit and Energy in this video!! Happy to see and hear that you’re settling in good. And Benji is living his best life!! ❤❤ I’m a Gemini, so that must be why I love your channel so much!! 😍😍 Glad to see more vids from you. ☺️☺️
😭 Not you pop locking to Benny lapping that water up. See, it's videos like this that encourage me to stay locked in with where I'm headed frfr because I know I deserve bliss and buoyancy. That's what you're radiating. Yeah, sounds like the residential area is more the speed you want to go whereas the neighborhoods the locals you met suggest is the pace you're calming down from. The bus story was endearing, I definitely intend to live somewhere with that level of active community care
Lmaooooo I love you’re energy bro. The giggles the inner excitement/screams. I just love it. The aura glows. The energy exudes. Best wishes and many blessings on your new journeyyyy
Omgoodness I found you on Instagram. Now on this platform. You are so animated. I love it! 😊😊 That water dance was cute as heck. This inspired me to stay upbeat! 🎉🎉🎉
I've never been to Mexico City but continue to hear great things about it. If you think living in the slower paced area is more your speed, do that! Can't wait to see more of your experience.
Hey love! I absolutely love your blogs! I live vicariously through you! I’ve been wanting to move to MX (I was born there) but have been living in Queens, NYC, since I was 7 (27 y.o)!! Hopefully one day when the time is right I can make the move with my husband! Also, have you looked into Charles Schwab (bank), they reimburse for all international and domestic atm/bank withdrawals. Perfect for international living (we have that and made the world of difference when we are in MX), keep up with the blogs! It’s amazing to see folks take the leap of faith and move to MX! Sending you lots of love!!
i've been working online for 4 years now, i am a holistic nutritionist so i have nutrition clients and e-books all about emotional eating, gut health and eating for energy! when you can, you should check my website out! i also host monthly wellness workshops that are online :)
@@IMKC2.0 honestly it was really simple finding an apartment. they don't check credit, only bank statements and i really wanted an apartment that came furnished! and all 3 levels in my apartment are furnished w/ everything including pots and pans. i lucked out BIG time so i'm very grateful!! also, i'm a part of a few Black girl + expat groups on whats app (when you start planning to move abroad i can invite you to them!) and they consistently pour out resources and gems for all of us to use and that's how I found the listing for this apartment :) but i say rent an airbnb out for like 2-3 weeks which gives you time to really search and find an apartment without rushing!
Arielle, I'm loving these mexico videos! the moment you said uber was giving $8 i was like take the metroooo lol I was a subway girl in CDMX , so cheap and convenient. but sometimes id take uber when I'd go grocery shopping. Yh the designated women section is nice but its because there is so much sexual assault on the metro they had to do that. A lot of women protest about that in the city.
exactly!! but since i moved to santa maria la ribera i noticed the taxis range from $2-7 but still the subway is a much better vibe! i have yet to take the train out here yet only the bus. is it safe? and wooow i didn't know that about the metrobus! thank you for putting me on
@@ArielleSimone yes the train is safe- that was my main form of transportation and the metrobus( bus/subway hybrid lol). never had any issues. just exercise regular caution - if its too late like 12am+ i just take an uber. yh there are signs on the metrobus in the women's section that say "sexual assault free zone" next time you're on maybe you'll see it. but i NEVER had issues even when i was in the mixed section. But this may be because of many reasons that are too complex to get into here!
It's probably too soon for you to notice the effects but I been hearing that the locals are having a problem with gentrification and immigrants coming over,. has this been an issue?
to be honest, i only hear of this issue online + socials! in real life, in person the locals seem really really nice and the ones that i've met said they like foreigners to come because it helps out small businesses and the economy but when i look online it's like a really big thing and i hear people are displacing locals (which is reeeeally messed up). so i say this to say i haven't seem much of it in person but online it's really a big deal and either way i hate to see anybody displaced. it's just not right.

When deciding to move how did you go about finding work? Or did you already have a plan to make steady/passive income?
Also, what has been the biggest challenge with finding a place to live?
