there seems to be so much confusion surrounding last nights live and this video. UA-cam videos are uploaded on a delay, they take ~30-40 hours alone to just edit, not including the filming. So they are scheduled and posted ahead of time.
The video covering last nights situation will go live on UA-cam in a couple weeks. I posted updates to both UA-cam and IG today to let everyone know we’re okay. The details of what’s up with Poe and how we got rescued will be in the upcoming UA-cam video.

Maria, I love my dog and all but the way Blue carried around that hippo melted my heart!
G force on a dog left unsafe in a car, without a harness is not so heart melting. It terrifies me. No one will do this to their children who they strap in a safety harness for protection. Why do people not think like this with their precious dogs?
I couldn’t gamble with my precious dogs lives that way, not while strapping myself in safe, leaving a dog to fly out the windscreen, or seriously injure himself by the impact. It’s confusing and very neglectful.

@kayenne221 your correct in some ways traveling dogs are different them other dogs they watch for sudden braking and stops its amazing what they learn my dog gets on the bed and stays as long as we're moving that's a queen size bed 25 ft from the front I do believe there's no danger her going out of or into the windshield if we're in my pickup she's in the back in a kennel that's tied down I have a 4 door truck I dobelieve shes as safe as possible no straps or ties to strangle her if we're on slowdrive shes in the front enjoying her self if I hitthe brake she braces on the padded dash like she has some brains that's what travelin dogs do

My Apollo has been fighting lymphoma for a year and 3 months he was in his 2nd round of chemotherapy when we found out it spread to his liver a week ago. We are now doing our best to make his last days the best ever. I pray your baby beats his cancer.❤❤❤

Please put a car safety harness on Blue. I love my 2 dogs so much, I couldn’t never accept using a safety belt on myself, start the engine, and drive, knowing my dog (my babies) are loose in their car seats! I make sure they are safe before me!

Why was there something around a dogs neck? Harness, in a soft secured dog carrier is the only way I protect my dogs. I would never tie a lead around a child’s neck, or allow a situation where a lead is likely to entangle round their neck, and take it on a road trip. Would never do that to a dog. I don’t use leads full stop, it around their throat.

So, this video has nothing to do with last night's Q & A stranded by the mountain escapade, but Thanks Maria for letting us know you are OK. We were all so worried. Been thinking about you all day today. I know people care but there were too many people guessing what was wrong and that makes it hard for you in the middle of a blizzard to focus. Just very glad the three of you got down that mountain safely. Can't wait for the explanation of your rescue!! I have a feeling your close friends and or family members gave you the right instructions and you rescued yourself! Strong women don't panic easily but that scared me, for you and Blue! Oh, how sweet Blue is dragging the hippo to you...."this is what I want mom."
Yes, been thinking about how she made it through the night! I had offered her help. I have a recovery rig, tools and I'm a mechanic that could have come helped immediately last night BUT, my messages on the LIVE chat, were getting drowned out by everyone commenting on top of eachother! Obviously she's safe though since she was able to post this video. 🙏🏼 makes all of us feel good!

I think sweet boy Blue was exposing his belly to say “notice anything about my fur”. Watching him stick his head out the window during your drive early in this video and later picking out that toy & carrying it around in his mouth will make me smile all day. 🥰 He’s so precious.

So cool you let him pick his own he gets what he really likes. My wife and I used to let our dogs do the same thing ,since she past ( 10 yrs ago ) I still let our 2 tiiny ones still it keep me smiling and remember the good time Barbara and I had with 7 dogs🙃
If you want a seasoning for most things including steak, I use Lawry's seasoning salt. Perfect for about everything.

We need to get you a DC to AC inverter so Poe can charge your Jackery. My rig has one and I turn it on while I’m driving and it fully charges my Jackery and aux batteries.

You should stash some emergency water for Blue. What if you broke down and had nothing for him? Throw bottles under you seat, or stash them up in your bed

I loved seeing Blue with the toy purchase! We have a retired police k9 (hubby's partner). Every time I take him to get his haircut, we do the same thing. The toys only last about 5 minutes once we get home, but his proud happy through the store is so worth it.

You should get some wide egg noodles, cook and drain, put in good iIrish butter to taste. Put in some fresh parsley. Combine well. Little bit of whatever protein you want. Pork, Beef, Chicken, Fish or not. I love wide egg noodles with chopped fried soy egg. ( fried egg in soy sauce or scrambled with soy sauce)

My uncle worked for the Forestry Service in Montana. Back in the 70's we would go up there and hunt on the Flathead Indian reservation. It was so beautiful. I was gonna go up there in live with him the year after I graduated high school just like my father and uncles had done. Unfortunately he passed away the day I graduated High School.

Little tip for lighting the stove with a lighter turn the gas on notch til you hear a decent not full blast stream. They just move the light toward it. So it will ignite from the futherest distance. Save you from burning hairs off your arm.
