A-Dubb Productions Allan Wade You seem to know so much about this machine!! Can you help me?! I replaced the footer to the embroidery one and now my auto threaded doesn’t turn?! What did I do wrong?! Can you please help?
Turn the wheel on the side of the machine and make sure the needle is in the highest up position. Another way to ensure it’s in the upper most position is by pressing the needle button. it will move the needle down and up once. Then try the auto threader. Let me know if it works.

I am a digitizer and machine embroiderer. I want to let people that are watching this video how good it is you had a problem and you did not edit it out. Thing happen and we learn and move on. You talked about the stitching on this machine for 350 bucks. Your right it does a fine job and as long as your pattern is digitized well this little machine will do a nice job stitching it out. Someone just starting out, this machine will last for many years. The best embroidery machine someone can buy is the one that fits in your budget. You can learn and become a very good embroiderer with this machine. If someone is looking to buy a machine use a link from this guys site. Remember brother has been around many years and this machine will also have other sewing companies names like Viking. Same machine. It's still great that he showed the initial way. Its always better to do the slow long way until you get so good at it YOU REALIZE there has to be a faster way. Skipping processes just because makes alot of people F-up something important later on.

After a few months of mistakes, I finally just learned to make masks to give away and help with the spread of the C-19. However, I have 2 old machines. They did the job for the moment, but my husband could not see me struggling any more so he purchased this machine, for me. Hi Allan, really enjoyed the video. At first I had my mouth open thinking "how can he do such a stitch intensive design on tearaway." Then "it" happened, and you corrected it nicely. Some people hoop mesh water soluble, and at times some hoop regular packaging plastic with tearaway.. If I use that method, I always make sure to do the satin border on the outside LAST, then just pop out the design when I'm done.

Sorry that sounds confusing haha- in order to up load out design or logo does it need to be drawn out/designed on a software in order for it to be compatible with the Brother machine? Tysm!
You have to purchase the software. I use brother pe design 10.
paige yes you have to use the software to create a file of your design compatible with the brother Se600. If you need a design digitized and don’t want to purchase the software. Contact me and I might be able to digitize your design at a price that’s in your budget.

You apply the frey check to the edges of your embroidery patch so that when you cut it out the thread doesn't fall apart. Its kinda like glue.
I have kept this video as reference for my new machine. I tried it finally last night. Trial and error for sure. It looks like the thread is bunching up underneath. I thought I had the right tension but I’m not sure. I’m embroidering on cloth linen and then a tear way stabilizer under it. Do you have a video that references other obstacles? Maybe my bobbin is set at the wrong tension 🤷🏼♀️. Help!!
I'm glad to see men in general showing their awesome sewing skills. Everyone these days is all about women's empowerment and all that stuff. What about the people empowerment? Ya know...encouraging people for being awesome. My dad is a jack of all trades and he taught me as many as he could. From working on cars to crocheting blankets. Fixing a sewing machine to sewing with one. I think that was pretty awesome! I feel so blessed to have a dad that could teach me these amazing things that many consider a lost art. I also think it's pretty amazing that I get to learn from you as well. You have an amazing gift and I look forward to learning much from you. I'm actually quite excited!

When you digitized the design for your patch, did you use the fill stitch for the whole design? (Border, background, letters, etc.) Also, did you use SewArt to digitize the file and get the pes file for your Brother machine?

this machine takes .pes files.

I use brother pe design 10. In the software you can layer colors just like photoshop you also have the option to merge layers.

I just purchased this machine, because I am interested in Embroidery machines and this one had a great review. But, you have demonstrated how it works so beautifully, and now I can't wait to receive my new machine on next week and do my first monogram as a gift. This is so exciting! Both my sisters have been monogramming for 40years, when machines were in the $1000's +. But, this one is very reasonably priced and it's supposed to be a sewing machine too. Take the thread off that bobbin and wind a new bobbin and put that one in.

How can one auto digitize their designs so it can be compatible with this machine?
nata Kamara I use PE design studio 10 to digitize my designs. It’s a program by brother that you can purchase on amazon. I have a link to the software in the description.

Very good video! I've embroidered for over 20 years, and you touched on little issues others skip. Yes, the tear away can be an issue if it's on a garment.😊
After making the patches, I use a Sharpie and zip along the edge, so it's perfect. Never had an issue bleeding as it only touches the few white threads . (You don't soak it.)

@@ggburg8118 Machines have gone up 100-200 in prices since Covid. Supply and demand. I got on Amazon, looking for a machine I bought 10 years ago for 200. It is 399 now, so I upgraded and bought this one. (I have wanted it for years, anyhow.) :c)
@@ggburg8118 regular price but since the epidemic there's been a shortage thus the price going up astronomically and people buying them just top double and tripple profits. I purchased a SE625 for $548 off of Ebay brand new in box, was more than i wanted to pay but I need to start embroidering so I sold some Tshirt merch to offset the price

Do I have to use the $1400 software to be able to create my own designs or can I use a different software?

...in Show note is listed a link to Brother PE10 software. That’s what he uses.
It costs $324.00. But there is another software listed, Embrilliance embroidery.
It is $139.00 but you need to look at the description to see if it suits your needs.
You can get pe design 10 for $5 on eBay
There you go.
Is it possible to make multiple patches at the same time?
If you put one at the top and one at the bottom in the embroidery software yes.

Excellent video.
I really liked how when showing the initial embroidering you let the video play out so we could see what was happening but then after changing colors and we had the gist of it you skipped forward. Very good teaching skills.
I also appreciated the honesty of showing pitfalls and accidents with the tear away fabric.

2 years. It is time for an upgrade. Only if it makes sense and you and the business or have a plan for the upgrade.
