Hi Allan, really enjoyed the video. At first I had my mouth open thinking "how can he do such a stitch intensive design on tearaway." Then "it" happened, and you corrected it nicely. Some people hoop mesh water soluble, and at times some hoop regular packaging plastic with tearaway.. If I use that method, I always make sure to do the satin border on the outside LAST, then just pop out the design when I'm done.
Nitty B Awesome. I’m definitely gonna try those methods. I’m still learning and appreciate all the advise. Anything to make things come out looking better. Thanks for watching and thanks a great deal for the suggestions and tips. Need more of that. Talk to you again soon Nitty B. Thanks
This was soooo detailed and informative. I just received one for Christmas and was looking for a video that wouldn’t frustrate me and that broke it down! Thank you so much!!
Sorry that sounds confusing haha- in order to up load out design or logo does it need to be drawn out/designed on a software in order for it to be compatible with the Brother machine? Tysm!
paige yes you have to use the software to create a file of your design compatible with the brother Se600. If you need a design digitized and don’t want to purchase the software. Contact me and I might be able to digitize your design at a price that’s in your budget.
Excellent video. I really liked how when showing the initial embroidering you let the video play out so we could see what was happening but then after changing colors and we had the gist of it you skipped forward. Very good teaching skills. I also appreciated the honesty of showing pitfalls and accidents with the tear away fabric.

Also I am a visual learner so your video definitely made it click for me. Now I want to embroider something! Thanks for the great lesson and for the mistake!

Thank you thank you so much for this video. Had never used a embroidering machine before and I had no clue how to get it going. But you save me. Just in ordered a heart on a little bag I made and I love it awesome machine awesome video

I loved doing vinyl and heat pressing everything. But I have always wanted to do embroidery. I found your video on You Tube and you sold me. It is a great video and I can't wait to make stuff myself. Thanks so much. You are a great teacher.
Hello again, I have seen another video about embroidering and it talked about all of the different stuff you have to buy to use these machines to make things. What I really want to make is patches and put a couple of logos on shirts, totes and stuff like that. Just for my own stuff. So if I don't want to sell to the public, do I really have to have several different kinds of stabilizing sheets and threads and needles? And can someone ever find a used machine that is trustworthy?
The fact this was made a whole freakin 2yrs ago and me using a whole diff brother machine I have a PE550D your instructions worked like a charm thank you so dope for this..✨✨✨
I have kept this video as reference for my new machine. I tried it finally last night. Trial and error for sure. It looks like the thread is bunching up underneath. I thought I had the right tension but I’m not sure. I’m embroidering on cloth linen and then a tear way stabilizer under it. Do you have a video that references other obstacles? Maybe my bobbin is set at the wrong tension 🤷🏼♀️. Help!!
i have had my machine for over 6 months and I avoided it because I had a hard time with the paper instructions. this has been so helpful! the video is very clear and i appreciate you helping us!
I am unpacking my machine as I am watching you and I am so sorry that I am unable to use your link. I thank you so very much for teaching this old lady how to embroider. May God bless and keep you. Oh yea! With my hoop there is a little square clear stiff piece of material and I don’t know what it is or how to use it. Will somebody help me please!
I wish I would had seen this video last year when I bought my machine, because everthing you just did I had to learn the hard way :( Thank you so much for taking the time to show people, it truly helps.

Nitty B Awesome. I’m definitely gonna try those methods. I’m still learning and appreciate all the advise. Anything to make things come out looking better. Thanks for watching and thanks a great deal for the suggestions and tips. Need more of that. Talk to you again soon Nitty B. Thanks
Great job. Glad you didn't delete the part that failed. Now I'll know what to do. Thank you.
This was soooo detailed and informative.
I just received one for Christmas and was looking for a video that wouldn’t frustrate me and that broke it down! Thank you so much!!

A-Dubb Productions Allan Wade is there software on our computer where we need to design it?
Sorry that sounds confusing haha- in order to up load out design or logo does it need to be drawn out/designed on a software in order for it to be compatible with the Brother machine? Tysm!
You have to purchase the software. I use brother pe design 10.
paige yes you have to use the software to create a file of your design compatible with the brother Se600.

I was already was going to buy this but I came past this video right before I bought it. So I used your link 👍🏾 thanks for the tutorial!
🙏🏾 Thank you. I appreciate you.
Finally got mine! The price is back to $379 on the website and is back in stock!!!
This is the best video ever and I was on amazon looking at the printer and decided to look it up on here and it’s amazing
Thank you. I appreciate all the love.
Awesome video. THANK YOU! I was today years old when I realized I had an auto threader on my SE600. :). Can't wait to start doing some embroidery!
Thanks for the thorough video Allan. I didn’t mind watching the length of the video. It’s expected in the points you made, including the stabilizer break. I found it all informative. I am looking forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and not being selfish with it. Continue the good work!
Subscribing because you’re very informative & genuine for learning the errors. I needed to see that. Thank you. I’m watching & learning before I use my machine
I appreciate that. Thank you. Anything you wanna know that you don’t see I’ll make a video on it.
I just purchased my SE600 your video was so instructional and detailed thank you.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It is so helpful and I appreciate the detail you went into explaining everything! Appreciate the quality and the effort. Got me up and running in no time
No problem. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏾
My husband bought me a PE535 for Christmas. I had no idea how to work it. I sat down today and was reading through the instructions and still felt intimidated! Also I am a visual learner so your video definitely made it click for me. Now I want to embroider something! Thanks for the great lesson and for the mistake!
Faye Cline Your welcome. Thank you for watching. The best way to learn is by seeing mistakes. If you can solve the problems then you control the machine and the intimidation factor goes away. I’ve taken this machine half way apart and up it back together and it’s still working. You’ll be able to do the same. I appreciate you. Don’t forget to subscribe.
this video is so, so helpful - you saved me hours of headache lol
Hey Now... I just bought a Brother SE600 and found your UA-cam Tutorials. I appreciate your videos. Very informative. I've learned a lot from you and now feel mostly confident to try my first embroidery project. Thank you Allan!!

I know this is an older tutorial but I bought the Brother BP2100 embroidery machine pre Covid, no tutorials on UA-cam and finally diving into it and found your channel and learning quite a bit even though different machines. Thank you.
I’m glad i could help. Seems like some companies just want your money and offer no real support. We have to help each other. Thank you for watching.
Great video! You're a very good teacher demonstrating every step. I especially liked showing the problem you had & how you overcame it. 👍
Thank you thank you so much for this video. Had never used a embroidering machine before and I had no clue how to get it going. But you save me. Just in ordered a heart on a little bag I made and I love it awesome machine awesome video
I enjoyed watching the mishap that you included in the video because it was a learning lessson for me and I’ll definitely be mindful. Thank you for your genuine transparency! Blessings to you!
Thank you for watching and seeing the value in my mistakes.
Thank you dude this is the most informative video I've seen. I'd like to make my own patches soon and you demoed this machine really good. Looking forward for more of your videos 😊
Dax Thank you. I appreciate it. I’ll be making a bunch more. Thank you for watching.
I loved doing vinyl and heat pressing everything. But I have always wanted to do embroidery. I found your video on You Tube and you sold me. It is a great video and I can't wait to make stuff myself. Thanks so much. You are a great teacher.
😁🙏🏾🙌🏾😃 thank you so much. That means a lot to me and inspires me to make more. Thank you. I really appreciate that.
When I get my machine I may get in touch with you with questions.
Sally Luebke let me know. I got answers. Use my link to get your machine if you haven’t purchased it already.
Also, what format does this machine accept for importing our own designs to embroider?
this machine takes .pes files.
The fact this was made a whole freakin 2yrs ago and me using a whole diff brother machine I have a PE550D your instructions worked like a charm thank you so dope for this..✨✨✨
🙏🏾 no problem. Thank you so much SucreTheWorld. Glad to help.
Dubb in changing the colours tread, do you change the color in the bobbin also. ??
No. The bobbin color stays the same. You July change the thread at the top. Thanks. Don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already. I greatly appreciate it.
@@adubbproductions Thanks again, I've already subscribe today, after watching your video, such educational clip, I've got that Bro 600, and it's complicated and limited on the system, but I'll use my flash drive to program my stuff.
Thanks again. ..
I'm just addicted to your videos! Thank you for showing every detail! You're just awesome! Keep making them please
Awesome video! I messed up a couple times because you didn’t mention to start with the Q foot for embroidery
Christopher Williams well @ least use your manual first
Your right. Left that part out. My apologies.
Awesome!! My HUSBAND just purchased me this machine and I knew this was the place to come and find the perfect way to begin my journey wt Embroidery!! Thanks!!!❤👊👊✌🤗🤗🤗

Adobe photoshop I think
I create my digitized files using pe design 10. An embroidery machine can not read photoshop files. Sorry.

Alan said this machine was abt$300.- not quite
It’s $750.+ or more.
@@ggburg8118 Machines have gone up 100-200 in prices since Covid. Supply and demand. I got on Amazon, looking for a machine I bought 10 years ago for 200. It is 399 now, so I upgraded and bought this one. (I have wanted it for years, anyhow.) :c)
@@ggburg8118 regular price but since the epidemic there's been a shortage thus the price going up astronomically and people buying them just top double and tripple profits. I purchased a SE625 for $548 off of Ebay brand new in box, was more than i wanted to pay but I need to start embroidering so I sold some Tshirt merch to offset the price
Just got my machine ur the best pls pls keep doing what u do with informing us…ur angles with the camera sooo perfect.can’t wait to get started now.
Congratulations, Take your time. Don’t be afraid to turn the tension knobs and adjust on the fly as needed. You will get it. 🙏🏾

Excellent video!!! I just purchased a Brother SE600 and was nervous to start. After watching this video I can't wait to get started. Also, thanks for showing how to overcome issues.
Do I have to use the $1400 software to be able to create my own designs or can I use a different software?
i have the same question
...in Show note is listed a link to Brother PE10 software. That’s what he uses.
It costs $324.00. But there is another software listed, Embrilliance embroidery.
It is $139.00 but you need to look at the description to see if it suits your needs.
You can get pe design 10 for $5 on eBay
There you go.
Yes!it was long but love it!! I was scar ok buying the machine, due to not able to manage it but thank you to your video ,you make me change my mind, again thank you!! I will tell about this to my wife!!!
Ahhh just what i needed to see! explained everything and acknowledged mistakes. Thank you!

Great video! The fail was actually very helpful to see; I appreciate you leaving it in. I just ordered the SE700 - basically the same but has wifi. I'm looking forward to having a sewing machine again. Never had a fancy one.

@@adubbproductions I have a question! I needed to change the foot from my sewing one and I had to figure it out in my own, do you think you could include or do a update to show how to switch for people who don’t know? Also, when embroidering, do we need to change the needles? Thank you so much! I love your content, it’s so helpful!
I love your embroidery videos! I have wanted an embroidery machine for years and finally decided to get one. The se600 looked like a good buy but reviews mentioned a lack of video tutorials. Allan. You’re a good teacher. You’re concerned about camera view and repeat for us. I hope you have a video on how to set up monogram. Nice attitude. Thanks!
Is it possible to make multiple patches at the same time?
If you put one at the top and one at the bottom in the embroidery software yes.
Ok, thanks the way you positioned it, I thought maybe there were some limitations on the machine or something. Thanks for the reply bro!
Loved this video! You left the problem in video. Appreciate that! We all learn by our mistakes
hello, if you don't mind can you show us how you got your custom design onto your machine?

You came a long way in 3 years! I wound my first bobbin and sewed with my SE 625 for the fist time today. What a sweet sewing machine and easy to use too.
When you digitized the design for your patch, did you use the fill stitch for the whole design? (Border, background, letters, etc.) Also, did you use SewArt to digitize the file and get the pes file for your Brother machine?

I dont use your link as I dont shop at Amazon. . Also picked up this unit for the same price at walmart and added it to my credit card and got $25 off the $310.33 price I paid.. $285.33 with free shipping w/two day shipping..
Wow. Thats a great deal. How is it working out for you?
Alan this vid and your others are exceptional!! I’m a snooker cue maker from the UK looking to save a few £’s on purchasing merchandise (to give away most of the time). I have an LB5000 (rebadged SE600) and without your content I would be lost!! Kudos to you my friend for your passion and your attention to detail!!
If I was to add one addition tip to your viewers and fans it would be holding the top thread out to the back to hold a little soft tension just for the first few seconds at the start it seems to stop some nesting instances I’ve experienced.
Keep up the great work my friend!! If you ever start playing snooker out there in the US let me know and I’ll try and sort you something out as a thanks!
Really Nice video, I wanted to ask what software you use to digitize your design and also how do you layer in embroidery
I use brother pe design 10. In the software you can layer colors just like photoshop you also have the option to merge layers.
@@adubbproductions Thank you for the information really help, most people use sew art to digitize there design, right now I have a brothers SE 425 hopefully that software can work with a older model embroidery machine
Christian Siddons I’m pretty sure it does. Old or not it’s a brothers machine so i think it should be compatible. I’m pretty sure it is though.

Hey I need help. I bought this and it keeps telling me that bobbin thread is running low when I'm trying to use the bobbin it came with
Take the thread off that bobbin and wind a new bobbin and put that one in.
My mother and I just spent an hour trying to figure out why the screen wasn't working right.
IT'S A TOUCH SCREEN. THANK YOU.
Lol. No problem. Lol. Thanks for watching.
Thinking about buying this and glad I came across your video! Great content! I'll be new to embroidery (and sewing in general) where do you apply the fray check you have linked? Definitely using your link to purchase! Thanks!
You apply the frey check to the edges of your embroidery patch so that when you cut it out the thread doesn't fall apart. Its kinda like glue.
