Wow That looks really good.
A must have for my modelling box
Big fan of this and going to look at these cause I’m doing a swamp diorama so I can use it for near by puddles and damp effects on trees thanks for the help 👍🏼
Great video, nice diorama and i see a lot of potential!
Thanks for showing. It's like still water effects from vallejo. In the end, only the price can decide 👍
Slightly more gel like and easier to sculpt as we did in stage two, also dries slower. But yes very similar product.
Great! Thanks for this video!
I used it for a model river in a diorama but due to my poor planning I managed to snap it across when I tried to drill out a hole to place a bridge support. Therefore my question is can you re melt it and re use it.
Don't think so, it's kinda vinyl-like and I don't think it can be reactivated.
Nice!
I wonder if this stuff would make a nice window glazing. Not as a self spanning glaze but rather over solid blacked out windows.
It's ok over periscopes to depict glass. But you need to apply a thick layer and do not do it in high temperatures. That ensures a realistic effect without brush marks. Obviously, that can be tricky too when using it that way on models but it does work.
Hello, once again another amazing video, thank you! I have a problem and I hope that you can help me. When I use enamel products like washes, weathering (rust or smilar) and so on, I always have a reaction of the product on the model, everything becomes white! even if I use the product on a protected area (with clear paint) or not protected area (primer plus acrylic varnish)! I really don't know how to solve it. thank you and best, Alessandro
First review the solvent you are using, go for mild thinners, model wash products/weathering products should be fine over most finishes. So it could be what you are using as a barrier coat. Try to use Klear, Future etc and make sure it is properly dry. Apply a couple of coats if needed. Lastly, it could be a bad batch of product but that's unlikely. As always take a scrap model or a piece of plastic and do tests until you are confident it works, then use on your main models. In terms of rescuing a model with this problem, watch our video on Tamiya's Clear Paints to see how they might help lose the dusty or chalky look.
great!! Many many thanks for your kind, quick ad professional reply. thank a lot. best, Alessandro
Would like to try and find some of this product. Curious as to how it would work as goggle lense material for 1/5 to 1/7 scale resin rc pilot figures. Anyone carry this in SE Michigan?
Yes this would work for that but you may need to build up layers.
