Full Flight: American Airlines B737-800 Dallas to Seattle (DFW-SEA)

- Hey guys! Welcome to leg #3 of this westward trip I took back in February! This trip was full of firsts for me, which included my first time being at DFW and SEA! It just so happened that my last flight from D.C. was the exact same plane I would take onward to Seattle! I literally had no idea until I arrived in Dallas too :D The flight was again very similar to the previous in terms of hard product, but there's just something about night flights that I really enjoy and this one didn't disappoint. It was a fairly long flight on a 737, but very peaceful and I really could just enjoy being up there in the sky the entire time. It also helped that I had some of the nicest mainline AA flight attendants, something I wish I'd have on all my American flights. But sadly that's never the case. The aircraft had awesome mood lighting, a spacious cabin, large overhead bins, free entertainment, a large collection of movies & TV shows, in seat power outlets underneath the seats, and WiFi onboard. Boarding/deboarding was smooth and the flight departed on time and arrived early. You still can't get away from the fact that AA has some pretty boring seats and not a ton of legroom though. But overall, enjoyed both airports and the flight itself. Hope you guys enjoy!

There's something about flying in an airplane at night and looking down at the lights below.
THATS WHY FLYING AT NIGHT AND EARLY WINTER/FALL MORNINGS ARE THE FRIGGIN BEST!!!!
Catch flights not feelings!
Flying into my city, Seattle! 💚🤗💙 I currently reside in Dallas, and have taken that flight a few times. It's great being able to see the view if the mountains flying into SEA.
I love night flights, the roar of the engine and silence in the cabin.
Me too
Just found your channel and subscribed straight, you never can get enough of flight reports. Great video ✌🏾
0:50 Terminal A also has DART Rail which goes toward Dallas and Amtrak. Terminal B has TRE Rail to Ft Worth. Also at Terminal D they have the Grand Hyatt. Great views of the planes taking off and landing! It’s amazing!
Taking this flight again soon! Nice video
Amazing video as always! It would be awesome to see even more of where the other planes are going, definitely at major airports because there’s so many unique routes. Idk how easy it is for you to look up the routes, but it would be super cool. Just a thought. Amazing trip report though as always!
Amazing trip report. Thanks for sharing your experience pal 👍
Thanks so much bro glad you enjoyed!
Thanks for sharing! I love it!
Amazing as always, great job man! Have a Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸🇺🇸🎆🎆
Another great vid! I love flying with you!
Thanks for sharing! DFW is my hometown airport!
DFW Is my favorite airport and Dallas Is my Favorite City c:
same here
Same but I live in Canada though
I flew American on my trip to DFW
I like DFW and Dallas too but it’s not the best
Same DFW Airport is my fav but Dallas isn’t my favorite city
Me too!
Terrific trip! I see the Portland Timber Lively in the background at Seattle.
Nice trip report! It's hard to film on night flights because of the darkness, however, the cabin will be beautiful with moodlighting, much prettier than on morning flights
I will be making this exact same flight later this week!
I agree about DFW being awesome for AvGeeks. Had a chance to get there early for a flight a couple years back and the skylink was second to none in terms of views!
I love your videos!
Great trip report!
Thanks bro!
Awesome video I have been watching alot of your videos lately I can say their 😍
Great Trip Report
I just love flights at night time for some reason there is something about it thats chill or something.
I like your graphics. Welcome to Seattle. Obviously a winter landing in December darkness.
Great vid man! Really enjoy DFW
Thanks bro me too! awesome airport
Even terminal C?
I enjoyed watching your content.
Went through Seattle almost ten years ago to catch an Alaska cruise. The airport is decent enough. I did notice how many Alaskan aircraft there were there. There's also an underground train like in many US airports which we had to use on arrival after a five hour flight from Toronto.
I enjoyed this video
Cool video! Enjoyed it!
Thanks a lot!
I love your videos
awesome vid bro
Nice video! ☺️
It stinks what coronavirus has done to aviation.
Great video btw
But think about the advantages, so easy to fly standby, and anyone can afford tickets right now
What’s so good about that? Tickets are cheap because it’s really advised/ not really safe for you to travel so your putting yourself at risk. (When COVID-19 began/struck)
I flew on A A in March from Las Vegas to Dallas Fort Worth to Newark Liberty . I liked the safety video. It was different . AA has gotten better. I still like Southwest the best.
I have flown MIA-SEA and DFW-SEA dozens of times and was an enjoyable flight after arriving SEA less traffic and fastest to get to the hotel or Downtown Seattle
A so cool video.
A tad tmi, but still cool.😉
Thx!
You have courage. I fly quite a bit, and there is NO WAY that I would have flown in that nasty, dark bad weather. That's when many of the big crashes happen-- in dark, bad weather with poor visibility. There's always flights in the morning!
I love american airlines :)
Wow. I flew from SeaTac to dfw on a 727 a month later in March of 2020, and due to the increasing covid panic and shutdowns at the time, there were only 6 passengers myself included on the plane.
YOUR the best !!!!
The remote is for the music provided by AA and for you listen what's on the overhead tv
I flew that route in the 80s but I was on a MD-80 and left around 430p got a 727-200 on the flt back
At 6:57, we love AA's safety video on these planes, but no matter on any heritage plane. Southwest Airlines is the only airline to do safety demonstrations in the most hilarious ways, but only on domestic and international flights. Airlines continentwide including Southwest Airlines need to order 10,000 jumbo jets to allow a few passengers to book the entire row of seats. 10,000 jumbo jets will be more than small/medium planes.
Alaska and American are apart of OneWorld also delta has a huge presence in Seattle as well
I fly out of DFW a lot it’s so nice and so big
I live in Portland so not that far from Seattle my mom grew up in Seattle area also I subscribed instant
Another awesome aviation video! Have you been to any Indiana airports?
Seattle Is my fav airport
Nice videos I fell like I am flying
Seattle is my home town :)
As you were deplaning, the cabin cleaning staff already were on board, doing their thing--don't know why they don't wait until all passengers are gone before cleaning and organizing unless AA had a tight turnaround at SEA back to presumably DFW. Where did you overnight in Seattle? There is a waterfront hotel I'm excited to try, gorgeous views of Elliot Bay and the Seattle ferries.I could easily make Seattle my new home but for the cost of living, its outrageous!
Howdy, awesome video as per usual! I have to say, AA did a fantastic job here! Why do I have a feeling the next flight is on Alaska?😸😻😸
😉
I haven't been on an American 737 in like 4 years. I flew on southwest in July 2019 so I flew a 737 then but not any other time. D:
Wow. They still have the same video? I flew on their a321 and it was the same thing
The American and southwest and the United terminal and Seattle is so small I wish it was bigger
I have flown that route DFWSEA many a time but I have never had to purchase food on the flight as it was complimentary which I guess I am dating myself again and there was some mighty fine eating on the flights. I know you buy food at the airport before boarding but do you ever purchase any of the food the airline offers in their magazines? Thanks for the memories!
i pretty much prefer Southwest's mood lighting but it's whatever. 14:06
1:25 that door squeak. Lol
Just a 🎵 note 🎵 of clarification, Seattle is NOT a hub for Alaska Airlines. Seattle is their base of operations. They are headquartered there. I was a little befuddled when I learned this. Just saying Sir.
I was thinking about flying on American Airlines but, I flew on WestJet and United from POS Trinidad from 2013 and 2018. I really enjoyed my flights from Trinidad, but hey you fly to Trinidad when our international borders reopen when the pandemic COVID - 19 virus is over.
I usually go into the bathroom and have me a Doobie, and then spray my freshly!!
On American, Delta, Southwest, Alaska, Frontier, Ryanair and JetBlue.
April 20th i have to fky from dallas to Seattle, itll ve my first time flying in nervous
Thanks for a great review!! Is Seattle your home port? I'm not a fan of bumpy take offs but prefer it over bumpy landings.. greetings from Australia
Thanks a lot and thx for watching from the land down under! Pittsburgh & Baltimore would be my home airports :)
thejazzguy13 Aviation Pittsburgh AND Baltimore? You live in 2 cities?
Bartomeu Out Yup pretty split between the 2 👍🏻
did they move the jet to a different gate?
When I fly to Seattle always is D8 or D9!!!! I don’t know why LoL
i have been on this flight - but with the old livery and no entertainment it was BORING- lol the old livery is awesome tho
I like American!
flying from columbus to seattle next summer 2022
Did that landing bounce?
finally you showed your face.
Question, is it easy to film in public, because for me I feel uncomfortable, so if you cant help me, do you have any tips?
It definitely takes some getting used to. Really the more times you do it the easier it'll be to just block out everyone :)
i have a couple of questions is there anywhere u havent flown to and if so where is ur dream bucket list flight and how do u know all the airlines and where they are heading to
Haha haven't flown to basically the entire world besides the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and Europe ...and Australia's pretty high up there :) I look up the tail numbers of passing aircraft when editing
@@thejazzguy13 is there any vlogs that shows whws the numbers on the tail because i cant see any on most planes
AA should use a 767-300ER or an A 330-200 for this leg. The 737-800 is obviously to small.
You actually started UA-cam when I was born
I want to fly to ATL, SEA, JFK, LAX, ORD, MIA, LHR and SFO from POS Trinidad & Tobago.
9:50 I'm guessing someone put in Flaps 2 instead of Flaps 5...
Flying from Dallas to Seattle, but the pretzels are from Miami?
Yah, for example when I flew Lexington to PHL, my pretzels were from ORD! American showcases there hubs on there food!
What do you mean when you say the 787-8 is its first flight??? Was that aircraft delv.in MARCH OR APRIL?
It was that plane's first flight of the day (which wasn't till night)
@@thejazzguy13 Gotcha because they had two 787-8 delv. in March and April that's why I asked..still a great late-night video thanks for sharing
i am flying to charleston south carolina july 18th thru the 23rd from omaha on southwest sirlines but spend my time in savannah and tybee island georgia due to rise in covid19 cases in south carolina
American Airlines safety video is on select aircrafts not on the Boeing 737 MAX 8 as well as regional jets, is it on the Airbus planes???
Yah they're on a lot of their Airbus jets too
@@thejazzguy13 before American retired their MD 80s the safety video wasnt on any of those planes
Only Pretzels on a 3.15 h flight?
Yup unfortunately...
Excelent video my frends Salutări din România 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴✈🛩🛫🛬✈🛩🛫🛬✈🛩🛫🛬✈🛩🛫🛬✈zbor placut prietene Succes
No mask required on board? I used to fly this DFW-Seattle route on 757/MD-80 back in 2002-2004, now they use B737-800.
Recorded in Feburary 2020
Gary Pham I wondered too but then saw it was filmed in February
you should also fly to phoenix sky harbor airport sometime after cases decline in arizona of covid 19
3:16
9 boarding groups? That’s highly inefficient and ineffective. No wonder those airlines are suffering.
It says Dallas to seattle not dc to seattle
Are the movie ex $$$?
Gets 22
Boeing 737 baggage like Boeing 787-9 baggage
Why wait until now to post this? Is it because airline travel and its luxury will never be like this again?
Well I guess it could be like that, but really I'm just going through an extensive backlog of flights I have filmed and am now just getting through my Feb. flights. I got 4 more pre-pandemic coming :)
I like Americans safety vid lol
That’s what you look like
So in dfw do you not need a mask ?
Not back in February he didn't.
They just made masks a requirement starting today (July 2)
i'm hoping to relocate with my family and children to meet a friend in ohio
This is Boring has HELL !!!
I like to fly in small planes
Like Cennsas. You really feel like your Flying that for sure. 😁
Are you not required to wear a mask in the airport or plane? I saw people without any masks on while boarding the plane.
This was filmed pre Covid
oh
do a trip report with qfs aviation, itripreport and theplanesguy sometime please to omaha and i will drive all four of you around omaha
Please stop saying the same thing over and over and over again!
Where is face mask
