It's kind of funny how this cheerful and catchy little jig just plays in some of the most hostile areas in the game. In a field of snow with White Wolfos trying to maul you? Play this theme. Getting shot at by Octorocks and clawed by Lobbarriers? Play this theme. And my personal favorite. Getting shot and gnawed at by Fire Baba, while boulders are rolling at you and fireballs rain from the sky? Play this freaking theme. I love it.

I loves this theme. Especially whenever the Postman comes in doing his little train walk. It's like he's dancing to the music. And really, how has no one ever thought of walking like that in real life. It would make for a great exercise walk.
True. And the fact that I enjoy train traveling IRL made this even more bearable. I'd even say I really enjoyed the train traveling in this game. The only lame parts were when you had to get to a dungeon. There was always these poorly placed evil trains that made you make huge detours just for the sake of it. I'm looking at you, Ocean Temple.

Spirit Tracks, I have never even heard about it. Ended up falling in love with the game and it sits as my fave NDS game and *THE* game I want to speerun. PH... a fun ass game to own at the *VERY* least... though worse than ST... That game is my favorite NDS game as of now. With even great visuals, something I didn't expect out of an NDS game. PH looks great for an NDS game as well, just worse than ST. It was a *GREAT* first try tho, controls and visuals wise. The only thing that bothers me, which is more of an nitpick as well, is the way you roll. That's it. And while it took me going back to MKDS to notice, PH is a damn well looking NDS game. And while the models look angular for lack of a better word, it beats the "lazy" look of MKDS models (don't get me wrong that is still a great MK game, visuals don't make a game, just compliment it, just a surprisingly low bar for NDS visuals) by a landslide.
I can picture Link's low poly model just playing to this theme. Would love of a hypothetical remake of these games had an iddle animation like that (though PH has a very generic OST and deserves way better than that)
