They need to give these two games (PH+ST) the Link's Awakening treatment. Just use the windwaker visuals, keep the top down approach, implement the standard control scheme and boom remake.

Listening to this track, now, so many years later, honestly makes me cry... It was the first Zelda game I ever finished and the one that truly got me in love with the franchise. This game represents my childhood, my dreams, it built me, just like the whole series did ! I'm not kidding when I say Zelda games are not only my favourite games, but also the second thing I love the most in the world, after Space. And this song, full of bittersweet nostalgia, will forever stay in my heart, in my soul... Thank you, The Legend of Zelda, for making me who I am, and who I will become ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hearing it again literally made me cry, it makes me feel like it's saying it wants to be free, break all the barriers and explore the world, I just wasn't able to hold my tears, that's how much I love it
So much nostalgia, I played this game when I was a kid (I’m 17 and 18 soon) and I just noticed how much this game got trashtalked, I never noticed before (I was way too young) this game is my favorite Zelda game, the ost, the gameplay, everything is so perfect ! I remember being so scared when the evil trains were after me haha
There are no evil trains nor good trains. There are just trains. All trains follow the path which they were created for. All trains have purpose and necessary evils to balance them out. The train that chased you is there to keep you sharp. A hero can only be as heroic as his challenges are difficult. Until you understand that, you will never be a good engineer.
I've never played any Zelda games so far... But I just listened to this song again and it almost made me cry (but in a beautiful way). My younger brother has played this game and he once showed me this soundtrack. I really loved it! It feels so nostalgic and adventurous to me. I liked it so much that I started to learn it on the piano (which I can play decently), but I wanted to play it... properly! Since there are too many notes to play at once for one person (I took in almost all the instruments in my piano arrangement) I thought to myself: "well, you could play this with your brother!" He loves the song too, but he can't really play the piano. So I gave him the easier part. We started to learn it but we stopped after a while... Maybe not enough motivation, I don't remember exactly. Anyway, all of this happened maybe two years ago. Now I moved to Germany (my family lives in Italy) for university, and today... I was playing the guitar and randomly remembered this song! I tried it out and I still remembered some of the chords by heart! It wasn't difficult to find the missing ones. And now I came back to listen to this song on UA-cam and it really reminds me of my brother! It's a beautiful and sad memory at the same time somehow. (He's still alive just to be clear) :))
I can never get over how the bassline at 2:47 matches the ocean theme from Wind Waker it's such a perfect allusion to the boat riding from that game and how this all takes place in the same world and adventure just took new forms
I have almost no memories of playing this game, but as soon as I heard this music an immense nostalgia feeling hit me right in the feelings. That's how you know a game is great, you don't have to remember it, but deep inside you still know it and cherish it
I love this game ans this track! This game accompanied me when I lost my job and had to stay home for a long time. Still listen to Spirit Tracks music till now and my 5-year old loves the game and music too
Played it a loooooong time ago with my best bud at that time. We played this and Phantom Hourglass for hours straight, over and over again. He even had a GameCube and we played Majoras Mask on it. But he only had the demo version and we tried to beat the game in only 30 minutes.... every single day... Damn nostalgia hits. Unfortunately we arent friends anymore even tho I can see his house from mine...
this song is so uplifting! like you want to venture into new lands, like you want to blow the whistle with the song and you want to ride the tracks! it's so great!!!
Exactly, I feel that Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks get ALOT more crap from people then they actually deserve. They're mainly hated because they're both different from other Zelda games but the controls flow well and they are actually still very good Zelda games in they're own right. Yeah they both have flaws but the positives WELL out-weigh the negative (at least in my opinion).
Started playing it yesterday, I got so much nostalgia from it even though I never played it or Phantom Hourgalss, or even Wind Waker ( ;-; ), It's so damn good, and I already love Zelda.
I actually liked Spirit Tracks. It was kind of special, with the locomotive and all, but I appreciated the game. Couldn't describe the awesomeness to make a hike through the realm with this song, using all along the locomotive's whistle
Still here in 2019 to listen to this song, it brings me so much memories, this game was truly good. If one day by a miracle there is a HD version, well like i would sell my soul if i have to to play it.
this was the first game i had ever played in my childhood and recently i heard this piece in the background of a youtube video i was watching and the memories all came rushing back, here i am now just soaking uo the nostalgia of this fantastic piece. i cant wait to buy this game again at some point
I always appreciated how you never had to follow the path you laid out and that you could diverge from it on the fly, unlike Phantom Hourglass. Also this song is incomplete without the sounds of the train.
This was a beautiful song, and an even better game. A very underrated game, and a real gem for the DS Lite. The best part of this song was to carefully match up the train's sounds with it to serve as a sort of background instrument.
I haven't played this game in over... what, 8 years? I'm man enough to admit, that this made me cry. It made me remember those good times... god, I miss them. It's shown me how much I've grown... live on forever in my heart, Spirit Tracks!
This was my first ever Zelda game. I remember getting it at 6 years old in 2009, the same year I got my DSi for my birthday. Man this game is so so underrated, the nostalgia I get from it is unreal

Enjoy your youth! Live it up, take chances, say yes, be happy!!
@@jamesremus07 thanks ! :)
Wow
Thank you for sharing! Wherever you are right now I hope you and your brother are fine
I don’t care if I get hate because of this opinion, but this is my favorite Zelda song.
This is the song that got me into death metal!
tbh same
What the frig??
Same here
How?
I can never get over how the bassline at 2:47 matches the ocean theme from Wind Waker it's such a perfect allusion to the boat riding from that game and how this all takes place in the same world and adventure just took new forms
Going in your car traveling along the country with this song ... omg
0:31 I swear every time I hear this tune it's like candy for the ears
Haven't even played this game and this is one of my favorite Zelda tracks. Get it? Spirit tracks, soundtracks...
I'll show myself out.
please leave.
it was 4 years ago, I think he already left haha
@@jensvanbouwel4828 lmao
Spencer Pettus that wasn’t as good as it could have been. How much TRAINing have you had in the art of puns?
Sorry please come back
I have almost no memories of playing this game, but as soon as I heard this music an immense nostalgia feeling hit me right in the feelings.
That's how you know a game is great, you don't have to remember it, but deep inside you still know it and cherish it
This game came out in the perfect timeframe for me to play as a young kid. This music is pure nostalgia
This soundtrack it's just a masterpiece. I had so many memories, it's beautiful.
This will always be one of my favorite Zelda tracks. Too amazing not to love :)
I see what you did there. Zelda tracks :D
KantoOfHyrule XD
I love this game ans this track! This game accompanied me when I lost my job and had to stay home for a long time. Still listen to Spirit Tracks music till now and my 5-year old loves the game and music too
Giving a Zelda game to your five-years old truly is an amazing gift !👍😊
THIS IS THE BEST ZELDA GAME BECAUSE ITS THE ONE WITH A CHU-CHU TRAIN!!!!
Lol chu chu i see what you did there
chu chuuuuuu!
+imSulfurate
Actually, no Zelda game is bad. They're all just good in different ways.
There is so much more truth to this than I can express, every zelda fan should hear this. I'm going to quote you on that.
they're fun, shouldn't that be what matters?
Look up Zelda CD-R. That game is arguably the worst in any category.
Jae Klone Um... I think you're talking about CD-i? Right?
Started playing it yesterday, I got so much nostalgia from it even though I never played it or Phantom Hourgalss, or even Wind Waker ( ;-; ), It's so damn good, and I already love Zelda.
I played those two last year and felt so nostalgic 😭 must be because of the sound chip or the ds or the system itself
Am I the only one who is sooo nostalgic hearing this ?
😭😭
The first time that I listened to this theme I didn't want to arrive to any station I was so happy with a big smile on my face listening to this theme
No you dont... it was everything too me if i was a child

2020, coronavirus lock-in, listening to the best song of the best The Legend of Zelda game
I just noticed at 1:00 you can hear a small piece of Windwaker playing until the whistle part starts again! Wow!
i hear this song everyday, i just love it
Me too 😎
The soundTRACK is fantastic, honestly.
The composition is godlike. I'd love to hear an orchestra play this
Well this Song is a part of the Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Medley. Played by an orchestra :)
@@Mad_Matt42dude that version slapped sooo hard
wow. After almost 12 years it's still amazing to listen to.
i whistle this tune on a weekly basis. and have ever since 2009.
My very 1st Zelda game, this song brings a tear to my eyes every time.
FULL STEAM AHEAD!
Choo- choo- bitches!
The train is on the way!
Stu i dont give a a fuck pot xD
+Sendy Lie (Lv.? Freelancer) My thoughts anytime I travelled xD
Let's all agree that Skyward Sword and Spirit tracks had the best music
+Zpotty Ocarina of Time? Majora's Mask? WInd Waker? .....
+Zpotty twilight princess?
Okay, lets all agree that zelda games have the best music of all games
+jomanaitor Twilight Princess had average music IMO
alipareedanse12 the hylia lake music is not "average", even the overwolrd theme, the gerudo desert, the citadel theme,etc,etc......
this was the first game i had ever played in my childhood and recently i heard this piece in the background of a youtube video i was watching and the memories all came rushing back, here i am now just soaking uo the nostalgia of this fantastic piece. i cant wait to buy this game again at some point
if you have a computer you can emulate the game using free software found on the Internet
This game doesn't have a soundtrack it has a Spirit Track,ha,ha
Li'l Brimstone hahahahahahaha
Cochleari that wasn’t very good. How much TRAINing have you had in the art of puns?
I always appreciated how you never had to follow the path you laid out and that you could diverge from it on the fly, unlike Phantom Hourglass. Also this song is incomplete without the sounds of the train.
Playing Spirit Tracks for the first time in 2024, and this is already in my top 3 favorite overworld themes with TP’s and WW’s.
I'm sad because I haven't played this game.... It's such a good song....
I played the game!!!! =D Its awesome!

Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are such underrated zelda games! I spent countless hours playing them Constantly
9 year old me LOVED THIS GAME!!! RIDING ON A TRAIN WAS SO COOL!!! 20 year old me still loves it lol
Don’t know about y’all, but I think this game was genuinely awesome and innovative.
Spirit Tracks is so underappreciated. One of my most favorite Zelda games to date.
this song gives me immense nostalgia from being a kid. i love it dearly

This was my first ever Zelda game. I remember getting it at 6 years old in 2009, the same year I got my DSi for my birthday. Man this game is so so underrated, the nostalgia I get from it is unreal
