  • The brindabella Ranges on the outskirts of Canberra are a playground just waiting to be explored. With steep tracks that give the Vic High Country a run for it's money and red hot trout fishing it really is a dial your own level of adventure destination.

Nice video. I was wondering why the Gladiator didn't appear in traversing those obstacles

Great video! I'm from Canberra, so familiar with that area. Don't have a 4WD, but done Blue range, Coree (park at last turn before the top), and Bulls Head (where you played in the snow) many times. Haven't been to the river campgrounds but I don't think my vehicle is up to it. Cheers,

I have a question. Why was my comment removed all I was doing is pointing out concerns to do with winching.

@@wewentthatawayadventures I was just concerned about how close to the winch you guys were as it was under tension. I have seen a lot of things go wrong when a winch snaps. I also noticed that there wasn't a dampener on the winch cable. I always worry about things like that I have also seen it happen first hand going through a friends windscreen we were lucky that day. I love the places you guys go just be careful and stay safe.

@@smurfzilla5756 we are always careful not to be in the danger zone ie between the vehicle and the anchor point, it will always recall in a straight line from the direction of the tension when winching but you are right we didn't use a damper and we really should have. These winches weren't under a tremendous load as the vehicles were driving forward . However I do accept your point that we weren't following best practice for winching and as people who watch us may use our efforts as an example of how to winch. Thanks for pointing this out we'll make an effort to do better in the future. We really appreciate your support, Thanks for watching and subscribing.
