  • Recorded by Peter Kennedy in the little village of Pen-y-Bont-Fawr in 1954. Pictured are Nansi Richards and Harlech Castle in autumn. Nansi Richards lived from 1888 to 1979 and is also known by her Bardic name, Telynores Maldwyn. She has been called "the Queen of the Harp".
    "Men of Harlech is a welsh folk song that has been developed and added to over the generations. The music was first published without words during 1794 as Gorhoffedd Gwŷr Harlech - March of the Men of Harlech."
