It takes him so long to get to the pruning part, then when he finally does, it’s out of the camera’s view so you can’t really see it :/

Thanks for the tutorial. I was afraid I’d cut them back too far. Zone 5 in March? It snows on Easter. I was told when your weather is consistently 50 degrees or more.

Your plant will tell you when you should prune, so when you see the new growth, it's time 😊

Remind me of the day I went for a short back and sides that means a hair cut lol 👍👍

Re: Heucheras in the garden: They look like they're trying to spread on long woody extensions (branches?). Should I chop those off? They new growth is on those branchy sections and I don't really want to discard the original plant because I like where they are placed in the garden. If I chop out the old growth will the new growth come from the original center plant instead of trying to spread?

Should you cut off the flowers stems after they bloom. I bought some at the store and they have giant flower stems with budding flowers. Will cutting the flowers off help the plant build the leaves and base better.

Not until they are all pooped out and dry. They are self seeding.

Okay, so what if you have leggy heucheras that have in the ground? Do you just cut back all the foliage and the stalks in the spring? Thank you.

whats the best way to buy can i grow from seed, should i start them indoors then plant them early spring, are they drought tolerable, do they grow well in full shade? i really like this. i want coleus but it dies out in the winter and doesnt come back. i think this would be a great alternative plant for my boarders.

Anyone watching this should skip the first 2/3 of the video. This guy doesn't tell you anything about pruning until 1:50. He earned a thumb down from me.
