I love these plants! I plant mine in with my Endless Summer hydrangeas. Gives the hydrangeas color when not in bloom. Since coral bells are evergreen plants in my area zone 6a Michigan, it also gives the garden interest in winter and early spring when all the hydrangeas are just sticks. Super easy plant with tons of different color to choose from 7 Endless summer originals hydrangeas 8 Twist and shout lace cap hydrangeas 9 wild berry coral bell 5 spearmint 3 peach berry ice 1 primo black pearl 3 dolce silver gumdrop
I bought a large heucheras (Frosted Violet) today and am wondering if I can split it in two or three before I plant it. It looks very strong and healthy at this point (May 1) no flower shoots yet. Anyone know? Advice?
My original 3 Heucheras have self sown to hundreds and cover a hillside. If I add some of these much newer varieties, will they all Cross pollinate and inundate our garden with hundreds more? I give them away to other gardeners who want them 🥰
What type of Heuchera do you have? I really have not noticed Heuchera to seed. I do have tiarella in the garden and that has spread like crazy with runners.
I heard somewhere that a lot of the new fancy varieties are sterile. I guess if it was a recent hybrid close to the original plant you might get seeds.
