Great stuff! I agree committing to something small leads to something big. If I set a goal to work out 4 times a week for an hour it’s too big for me right now and I’ll end up not doing any workouts. Instead I have a blank hundreds chart on my fridge with no preset time amounts or weekly numbers. Instead whenever I do any physical activity for any amount of time, I color in a box. It’s helping me build momentum and celebrate the small wins whenever they happen.

Staying aware of what's going on around me and cleaning up as I go is a great topic. Cleaning up at night is great. But, of course cleaning up after yourself eliminates the need to do that. Put things away as you use them is something I'm getting better at. New to me is also, going to bed at a certain time, and waking up at a certain time has become important. I feel so much better, along with doing a morning routine to get my day started. I'm not great in the morning, so getting that routine to be rather automatic, is great. I'm not there yet, but try less to talk myself out of doing certain things. I just have to go back and do them, anyway. It really helps to have less stuff I don't use. That's a biggy. Thanks for talking about what's working for you. It inspires me to give it a try. Lynn

I’ve actually found that contentment is the fulfillment. I have a used 2013 Model S Tesla. Every time I drive it, I am content. It feels like the first time I drove it. I never bore of it. I am happy. Right now it has a charger port issue and needs to be fixed. Even as it sits idle in my garage I’m grateful for it. Once it works again we will save money on gas once more. The more we spend on gas with my husband’s CRV, I’m grateful we have that vehicle to share and also appreciate the amount we did save while driving the Tesla. How much the repair is worth to us on a daily basis once we get that done.
There is nothing fulfilling in chasing, only in each moment of experiencing anything. It’s not about HAVING, but about enjoying: and you get to enjoy or not enjoy in each moment. That’s a choice. With or without a Tesla, I enjoy life.

@ 8:20 you said that people are entitled and they feel they deserve new cars I agree but I also believe people scrutinize others for not having nice things or people think they are being scrutinized for not getting a new car when there car is like only 2 years old they are like "ugh my car is so old it's embarrassing" people are veryinto themselves and think that other people care about them. But what I've learned is that no one is worried about you EVERYONE is so selfish they are worried about themselves and if they are worried about you they suck and need to get a better hobby because I'm not changing jack about my 2003 Honda Civic that has 145,000 miles that I've had for 6 years (btw I copped it at 80k miles in almost mint condition for 5k) I'm gonna ride that thing to the ground I ruined the crap out of it because it's my first car but I take care of what's under the hood and I no longer hit curbs anymore or smoke so I don't burn the interior of my car anymore so now if I was to get a newer car I would be straight but I don't want to because I appreciate the one I do have everyday I drive it and always feel like I'm cheating the system. Investing in your pantry is also a smart move say you are out of work due to illness you at least don't have to worry about grocery's I have grain in 5 gal buckets on DECK

If you don't need it why does anyone else need it. Donation is not a good reason. Keeping 3 coats is better than filling the land fill with last year's coats, and buy another one next year when you loose this ONE coat. Donating a useless kitchen item just goes in the landfill. It doesn't change the life of someone in need. Let's be clear.
    BTW... Love your videos.

May you share me the link of the journal you mentioned in minute 13:15 of the video?
    Thanks!

Obsessing about something for a few weeks or months and then moving on to something else later can be an ADHD symptom / indicator. Not that that's what it is, just mentioning it.
    P.S. Love your channel!!

Thought this might help you gabe with having a new baby on the way. I am a new mom. Sleep is very important for babies too. Sometimes newborn babies cry in their sleep. Pause before picking up otherwise you could be interrupting their sleep cycle. Also highly recommend reading the book 'bringing up bebe' great chapter on sleep for babies.
Wish someone had told me this as a new parent. Xx

This person seems single with not a lot of responsibility. It's easier if you do not have others in your environment or people to care for. I will say the advise given is good to go by.

I don't know why people keep saying this. Its not that difficulty to go to bed early. Granted you need 10 plus hours in bed to make up for nighttime feeds and actually get 8 hours asleep. Go to sleep 10 o clock and get up at 8. Also they are two adults with one child. It gets tricky when both parents work and maybe a toddler also wakes at night. But one baby between two adults? A breeze

Taking a deep dive here with calories.
Oatmeal has about 200 calories but it is full of vitamins and soluble fiber. It helps with cholesterol and diabetes. The complex carbs helps with sugar as well as body fat is benefited. So calories to me is just one side of the coin, the other half of the story is other benefits. I'm sure you are aware of all this, just a reminder we should look at all information about our choices.
