You gotta review a HEYDAY wt surf. I can't believe the wave you get for the price tag. I have a moomba but spent all weekend on a HEYDAY and was completely blown away. Fully loaded for 60k???
I would love to see a video on this. Just your thoughts would be fun to see for the most budget wake boat on the market that acually seems to put out a prettty decent wave.
A have a few questions, so what is the base price on this boat? How long is it? How fast do the ballast tanks fill in? Would you recommend this boat or the Moomba max for wake surfing?
Well, we are working on the full review but its just under 25 feet, and the tanks fill in less than 10 mins, I believe. I would recommend this over the max for sure, if you can afford the difference. The boat is bigger, plusher, more ballast, more storage, and sub floor ballast. Head over to forums.moomba.com for more info until our review comes out. ;-)
So you would still recommend the Supra over the Moomba? I'm new to your site. I'm thinking of buying next year. What would you recommend of all the boats you wake surfed on?
If you can afford the SL, or maybe the new supra coming out, the wave is going to be a bit better, and the boats are plush, but if you can afford the Makai, get it. The wave is not quite as clean or level, but its excellent. And 4k stock ballast with all under floor, I would easily buy one or recommend.
So its as good or better than our SE, the same wave, but you don't have to add the extra ballast and lose storage to get it. Compared to our SL, the SL wave is bit better, the new Supra surf system just makes a cleaner more level wave.
18 SE if you can afford it, or the makai if you want to save a lot of coin. It won't be as plush, and the wave on the SE will be a bit better with the 18 surf system on supras, but with makai, you don't lose any storage. Now with the 19 SE replacement, you get the best wave and won't lose storage. ;-)
Ya, I picked up the 18 SE and am happy with it. The larger fatsacs take up lots of room but the wave is awesome. Sub floor ballasts, new hull and the new dash on the 19 SE will be super nice and make want to trade my 18 in... at least the wave will be comparable!
Anxiously waiting for the full review!!
Can’t wait for the full review! So that I can stop refreshing UA-cam, just tell me this: will we see it before or after Polar Bear?
Are y’all still going to release the full review? If so will it be soon? 🤞
We have this same exact boat and setup and have never produced a wave like that. Please share your secrets.

Where’s the full review? 😤🙏🏻😂🤙🏻😭
How about the full review!
Is the makia the best wake surf boat for around 100k? Any other recommendations around this price?
That is a very subjective question, but I think for our family, if $100k was our budget, this would be at the top of our list.
Ok thanks.
no , not even close. the MB B52 absolutely BLOWS this thing away. Really like the Makai but the wave for a 24.5 boat is really underwhelming.
Hi everyone, I’m about to order new boat now my question is, momba or Axis? Supra or Malibu?
Checkout the later video on the Makai we did, out a few days ago.
where is the review ?
😍
Did you decide not to review it because you thought it sucked?
How’s it surf compared to your se?

2018 SE or 2019 makai?

The caption goes way too fast think about it as if you're not watching it for the 15000 time
