Was really nice to meet you both whilst on your big lap, Lots of hard work and thought has gone into your mint set up, well done on such nice rig and getting out there to enjoy it! "The video no asked for" intro cracked me up :)
Just come across this run down, it twas the troll sporting the Bundutop that caught my attention, as that's what we have. Those Bundutop units are awesome, expensive but worth every cent. You appear to be a tall dude, so my major improvement wouldn't suit you, but as my wife & I aren't tall I utilised the space at the end of the bed to mount a permanent diesel heater, that unit on cold nights transforms the tent. I have mounted 2 X dimmable led reading lights, external ladder light, 12V electric blanket and designed a pivoting bracket that permanently mounts to the ceiling light frame, it holds a int, ext thermometer and we can slide our mobiles into it to watch movies in bed etc. On-top I've mounted 220W solar, a frame to store the Bundutop ladder (yes we still use it), & 4 X maxtracs. We fitted the add a room awning, and Bunduawn 360° unit to ours. Just love it, ours is our glamping unit, it's so nice to pull up & rest up, anytime. Easy to setup if you're a bit toey also (certain you'd discovered that), well until the kids bust yah!!!! Hahaha.
JRP Multi gauge for the win, have one and absolutely love it! Gets rid of the light pollution on the A pillar at night when you run traditional 52mm pod gauges
Love the rig. Just come across your channel. Have subscribed. Would have been good to have heard the engine running and working in this vid! I’m building a Cummins patrol at the moment, also in SA but seems you have already passed thru here which is too bad otherwise i would have asked you to dive for some cray and abalone down South East. Looking forward to watching your next videos.
Yeh shoulda had her running !!! Ahhh bugga shame, would have been killer to dive for crays!! If ya wanna see it running jump on our insta n check it got heaps of pics and vids up there 😄
New sub mate awesome video Few questions how much didn’t it all cost you ? And is it worth the conversion? I’m looking into 6bt for my patrol . Also do you need to upgrade your suspension for engineering for GVM upgrade etc ? Also any common issues that you find especially for a tourer cheers keep up good work
Hey mate cheers for the sub. Doing the conversion was about 35k with the rebuild. Honestly haven't added up the camping set up too scared too🤣 yeh I reckon it is worth it but it's a lot of work. No real show stopper issues just few teething issues you get with conversions. If ya want further details DM us on insta 😄
@@surf2dirt do you have gvm upgrade? i have a series 4 with 6bt and with wife and kids and accessories roof rack and awning didn’t leave much room. cheers

Yeh love it , just neatens it all up and super easy to install
I have the rear raslar bar and it does exactly what yours does with the pin not engaging i have to raise it slightly or twist it until tyre locks in.

VNT turbo with no lines on the actuator.....?
No shroud on the radiator is why its getting warm, not the bar or lights.
How did you modify the arm rests to suit the gu cheers 🍻
Hey mate what vacuum setup are you running for brakes and clutch?
Standard dodge vaccum pump and running a gq unboosted master cylinder , clutch pedal is still really easy and smooth unboosted
Hi what does your rig weigh?
Tbh we haven’t weighed it 😬 just never got round to it
