Sound Deadener Link: Definitely recommend, cheapest stuff that is the exact same as competitor brands and makes a massive difference in noise reduction

Good vid man. I would recommend using a noral rubber trans mount rather than the CEM bush mount. The noise and vibe transfer is terrible with the bush mount. I changed to a Jeep wrangler trans mount and it's sweet now.
Thanks mate! Yeah I took your advice on that one, I picked up a rubber mount for it!
This guy casually has the sickest turbo whistling, terrible diesel, tire burner built on UA-cam. Sadly Next month never came
Engine build in the shed with old man, doesn't get any better than that! Thanks for the video!
You had me at "Yank Tank". I had to come and see this.
So glad I stumbled upon your video man!! Such great camera work and editing . Really looking forward to seeing this build come together .
Cheers mate, means a lot 🤙🏽

Bloody awesome mate hanging out for the next one
Thanks mate appreciate it
cant wait for episode 2, new sub here
I bet a 4cyl p pump Cummins would have been more than adequate, so props to you for shoehorning a 6cyl In there. Great videos.
Keep posting your UA-cam shorts man, I'm so glad I found your channel. I have a profound love for diesel and I'm glad you do too, now let's talk about getting you a 7.3 iron, or one of them new 6.7s, absolutely bulletproof V8 diesels
Thanks mate appreciate it! Will try and post more to UA-cam!
There’s a reason no one does PSD swaps 😂
@@ThanksHero a lot of people do...
U watched a tad too much og shauno and the gang 😂 love it keep up the great work! FROM PA.USA
And it ended with episode 1
Would of like to see this build finished
Hey you got the full video of the swap I'm bout to try to do the same but with a Isuzu rodeo
Must've lost the footage of taking the front diff out on the dodgy after some beers
Hahaha we definitely should have filmed that
What happened? I just found this, and you've done a Keyser Soze............
Might as well cut some 1ton dodge axel's to be beefy enough for the weight and torque
Awesome build bro.. hopefully yall dealt with that killer dowel rod issue those cummins motors have.. but id assume with the amount of engine work an all the details yall have already dealt with that woulda been figured out aswell but amazing seeing that beautiful engine going in a Nissan patrol.. cant wait to see the rest of the videos..
Killer dowel pin you mean
I thought you had weight to HP ratio restrictions in OZ. Unless you detune it for inspection and then tune it afterwards.....?
Super jealous of your workshop! Where about a are you from in WA?
Just in stoneville mate!
@@nathan.baxter ahh ok I’m in moora
Is there a pt2?
Очень интересно парни! Мало таких интересных проектов с Ниссан патрОл! Сам собираюсь свапнуть Qd32 eti! Тебе удачи!
Any progress mate?
Bro, what's the last status?
How much did it all cost you I’m planning to do Cummins conversion
Where is episode two man???
No episode 2?
Hey mate really good video, just a quick question how much did all the machining cost for you block and head ?? As I I have just torn down my 6bt and looks like it will need machining and I have been told it will be quite pricey??
Cheers mate, it cost me $450 to bore to oversize, I didn’t get the head machined
@@nathan.baxter that's much better that in thought where did you get it done ?? Also what rebuild kit did you use? Thanks
@@harro9447 local shop in Perth, can find the name if you like, I used Rolland from CEM engineering or Matt from Double Duty Diesel for parts
@@nathan.baxter nah its allgood in in vic anyway, thanks for your help keen to see yours going 👍
6bt and td42 same transmission?
Where’s episode 2

Note: There is a difference between soud "dampening" and the reducing of sound by itself, if that makes sense.
What you a re doing there is to damp the BODY soud by sampening. This is good.
But that is just 1 part of the story.
Something like foam will reduce the noice that will be transmitted via air. One always need to do both. The first part (body sound) doe not need to be fully covered, like you did correctly.
Yeah, I did try to find some foam to use but couldn’t see any, is there any you know of?
Cool dude. I suggest you try and talk with more enthusiasm. It really helps grasp people attention. Sick rig dude.
I cant believe you gave up
Bite the bullet and buy an airdog 150 5g lift pump there worth every penny and you can turn the fuel up
Did he say 4l80?
Engineered to run those weights over the front axle??
Yes, they aren’t much heavier than a td42
@@nathan.baxter might wanna get a engineer to sign off on that bit
@@stevespatrol just said yes, an engineer has signed off on it, they have done plenty of the same conversions
why 6bt
I would of kept the Zd
Nah joking looks Sick!! Dream motor
Christ..lucky boy!!having the finances to do this!
