One trick for Muramasa to loop on 3x3 nodes without plugsuit is to have his second append unlocked (no need to level) the use the 2 20% batteries from the castorias then his 50% battery allowing you to save the 30%’s for each following wave.
PSA, Muramasa's 2nd append makes looping with him a ton smoother. You can pop his 50% charge, use both castoria's 20%s and have two separate 30% charges to fill on turns 2 and 3. You lose 20% and 10% attack buff respectively, but can much more easily keep his mana burst for wave 3. Still not enough refund to really make it in the 90++ nodes though
@@zs190personally I think Muramasa is kinda underwhelming but very few servants can comfortable farm at neutral at np1. Farming neutral is only supposed to be something you’re doing with servants you’ve invested heavily in.
Takeru's debuffs are useless in challenge quests where enemies have permanent Debuff immunity. Muramasa lacks this weakness. They both have unique skills. In 3 turn farming, Muramasa's anti king passive can make a minor difference while his invuln pierce doesn't, unless you lead with Oberon's NP on a beefy enemy that has to finished off with an invuln pirce crit. Whereas, Takeru's unique battery can be forced to activate too. However, force activation for both of their unique skills is time consuming unless its Muramasa's anti king passive. Obviously both of their buffs are weak to buff blocks and buff stripping. But we have countermeasures such as Santa Nightingale.
I feel almost like I have a weird responsibility to talk a bit here. My personal Muramasa is, for lack of a better term, fully realized. NP5, Level 120, all Skills 10/10/10, Append Skills also 10/10/10, his Attack extra is 2000/2000 (health is short by like 40 but total is over 20k) and his two Arts Cards have the full +500, and I'm gradually chipping away at his Buster Cards. I run him 95% of the time with a level 100 MLB Black Grail, Double Castoria and Oberon. Sure, from Oberon he's missing that 50% Buster on his NP, but with his rolling setup he does not care. The literal only thing he "struggles" to loop are Zerks, and that issue is completely negated by Oberon giving 70% on turn 3. Turn 1 is burn Muramasa's Battery, 70% charge with Append Skill. Use both Castoria's Arts buff, plus their 20% Batteries, he fires and can annihilate near anything. If I have trouble on Waves 1 or 2, I pop his Mana Burst and he'll get any extra damage/refund he really needs. Turn 2 is just using one or both Castoria's First Skills for that 30%-60%, fire again, turn 3, well, depending on how much damage I really need I keep whichever Castoria at that point has their NP, usually my own, and swap out the other. Use Oberon's Skills on Muramasa, fire Castoria's NP and in tandem Muramasa's. With three turns of rolling NP Damage buff plus one at overcharge 2, with Oberon, and honestly even without Oberon, he's doing so much damage against everything that he does not care what he's thrown at. I don't have my hands on Takeru, and I by extension don't have Takeru at nearly a level of investment that Muramasa is at, so I personally cannot compare the two at this theoretical "full realization" of the Servants. So, all that to say... I would still say on paper, Takeru "looks" better for what he is trying to achieve, while Muramasa casts a much wider net and can be taken to a wider variety of content. Judging based off that, me personally, I would choose Muramasa for the extra stuff he gets to go do, especially with his ability to have an answer to many problems you might run into (as mentioned, ignore defense, Pierce Invuln, remove Attack Buffs, etc.) but if you just want a "perfect" looping Saber, Takeru is your option. TLDR- Muramasa does more content, Takeru farms more easily.

I have an np5 lvl 120 Murumasa and I’m still gonna roll for Takeru. Probably max np2 cause I like collecting characters especially if they were in another work and in this case he is!

Im probably coping, but i think it's likely that Muramasa could get a buff, either to his NP or skills 1 or 3. Personally, I'd like to see them buff his first skill to have the color buffs last 3Ts, but that might be too much 😅. Would be awesome, though.
Honestly, I'd be satisfied if they made his invul pierce last 3 turns. They can keep the 1T 200% cdmg, thats way too op to last 3T. But I am not a big fan of how his invul pierce lasts only 1T. Like, why? Muramasa is supposed to slash through space and time with his blades, he has invul pierce written all over him. So why make his invul pierce last for only one turn? Its not like its easy to predict when the enemy is gonna use invul. Should I just sit on my ass waiting and waiting without using my 3T cdmg steroid? I feel like they could have easily made it like how i described, it wouldnt change a whole lot.
I have a lvl 110 Np5 Muramasa so I doubt I will roll for her plus I don’t really care about her since I haven’t played samurai remnant. He is my default arts looper and if there is an archer then I deploy summer Kiara (Np2 lvl 100) which while inconsistent is better than my Fionn or any other arts looper I have (besides regular Kiara which I also have at Np2 lvl 100). Now that I think about it I use mostly Muramasa and the Kiara’s lol.

Yes and no. It's also because "HIS biography (in his materials) explicitly uses masculine pronouns regarding Yamato Takeru as a Heroic Spirit." It cou.d also be a mix based on his male gender when alive.

Yes
Basically
Tateru - Turn 1 & 2 damage, refund, guts, divine & demonic niche, single enemy extra damage and refund.
Muramasa - Turn 3 Damage, 100-200 crit damage, ignore invincibility and defense, attack buff removal, face card and mighty chain potential.
Yep

Only issue with that is CQs. Castoria over Vitch for support in those cases.
it does under one condition simply:

Takeru better than Muramasa on farming
Muramasa better than Takeru due to he has ignore invi and remove offensive on his NP

Muramasa cause of Castoria, he Black Grail loops. Saber either uses Mud rain, or she can black grail loop with Summer Chloe, Oberon and Koyanskaya.
