- When you head up or down the M6 Motorway you'll be greeted by huge Poundland banners and of course the Bescot Stadium 👉🏽 Home of course to Walsall Football Club ...Now I've passed this football stadium more times than I can remember and always thought to myself "One day I'll check that football ground out"... Well TODAY IS THAT DAY 🤩 We love a Stadium Tour on Ry's Football Paradise so if you're NEW around here, consider SUBSCRIBING you don't miss out on any future STADIUM TOURS ⚽️🏝️ I'm hoping to get the St. Mary's Southampton Stadium Tour edited up and uploaded tomorrow peeps so stay tuned for that one! 👀
#poundland #football #walsall - Спорт
Cheers as always for the support peeps 👉🏾 Saints tour up tomorrow 👍🏾 I’ll be on the QPR tour Wednesday so that should be on the channel Thursday then I’ll be at Man United v Fulham as I head into 2 WEEKS OFF THE MILKROUND 😍 So if anyone wants to show us around your club, give us a shout! ⚽️🏝️
Up the Saddlers - Poundland is a local business for us headquartered in Walsall and is a big supporter of grass roots football and the biggest sponsor for the club financially ever. Give me Poundland over any betting sponsor. ❤️
As a Walsall fan I'm fairly proud to have a local, multi-billion pound company sponsor us, even if the name isn't the most flattering. It's far better than the many generic betting sponsors and various Middle East blood money sponsors that are about nowadays.
The Tile Choice stand has moved from the two tier stand (now the Poundland Stand) to the main side stand, where the dugouts are.
The Bescot will always be called the Bescot by any Walsall fan, whether it's called the Bank's or Poundland Bescot.
Depending on what time you got there, you could also have checked out The Locker, which is our old Saddlers Club that's recently opened back up after closing down in 2018.
Great video Ry!
Thanks for the info mate 😊👍🏾 was impressed by the ground - looked newer than a 1990 build… had to throw the bait out there with the whole “Poundland” intrigue 😉 they seem like a good sponsor
@@RysFootyParadise They only sponsor them a pound 😅
great vid, never been to new stadium, but went once for a fa cup game at old ground, these are true football fans ,not glory hunters.
Walsall season ticket holder. We have embraced Poundland massively. There may be a stigma to poundland but they are a successful local business who have put money into the club. Walsall is a working class town and I would much rather have a sponser that helps people financialy through difficult times than a betting company that takes advantage of vunerable people. Anyway that was a great video.
I’m proud to have Poundland as sponsors. Local company great with the local community. At Easter they donate Easter eggs for the kids attending open training sessions at the stadium. They have also sponsored the team I manage at u12’s in the Walsall area and this money has allowed us to purchase 12 kits and 12 1/4 zip tops. We had a photo shoot at the local store where they provided goody bags for the kids. Then we received an email last week inviting us to take part in a game on the main pitch at the end of the current season free of charge. So they are an incredible sponsor not only of WFC but also grassroots teams and local community. Top company 👏🏻
I like that Poundland stadium is so open and not looking claustrophobic! Good on you, Walsall FC 👍🏽
I’ve Played a final at Bescot and went to their game today class club and ground
Nice Video Ry, your visits are making me Google clubs and places I have never been to. Also learning some history along the way. I remember Paul Merson playing for Walsall FC for a couple of seasons towards the tail end of his career.
Poundland started from Walsall, big brand and link to the local area. I have no issues as a Walsall fan.
I have never been to Walsalls ground. I too have gone past it on the M6, on the way to watch Gloucester away up North. Have always thought I will have to watch a game there.
Good positive video, never replace the proper old ground Fellows Park for atmosphere but i think we can be proud how the club have developed the stadium of late and kept the kids interested as the football on the pitch has been pretty poor the last 5 or 6 years. Up the saddlers.
Best video yet. Poundland is a proper sponsor, like the kit.
Keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do! Glad you’re enjoying them
Cheers for the video! UTS 🔴⚪️⚽️ #Home
Passed it alot going from Witton train st to a cinema we used to go to in Walsall. You could see the old ground as well
I’m a Colchester fan I visited it last season it’s a very fandly place and a good atmosphere
I’m making my first visit for the forthcoming Doncaster game. Very fortuitous you posting this. Enjoyed it. Thank you. Plymouth tomorrow.
Home Park looks class 👏🏽
Pete Waterman is a fan. It's a swift on the club logo.
Not sure how I didn’t pick up on the swift as I played for a team called “Ledbury Swifts” growing up 😅👍🏾
What are coincidence Ry that I was up there a couple of weeks ago for the Aston Villa women's game
When I was at the Costas nearby, I regret not working out that the Morrisons was the old ground
Very good train links. I came up from the south into Birmingham New Street and then up to Bescot
Station about three minutes away
Could you see any left over clues that was the old ground mate? 😊
Another Gem Ry! Went there with Oldham a few times, great ground! What about Fellows Park? And said the weight loss you need a burger!
Great vlog mate!
Glad you enjoyed it, look forward to returning for a game 🤩
same as you always notice it from the motorway but never been, even worked in brownhills never mind nice vlog mate
Good fair video , thankyou for that. walsall FC seem to be increasing work within the community. ironic you mentioned Mansfield a few times ,I think we played and beat Mansfield that same day .UTS
I seen United play Walsall at Fellows Park their old ground.
We'll support them 💪 walsall
The Fellows Park site is now a Morrisons ..........good video mate 👌 👍
Did they leave anything as a sign the old ground was there mate like a plaque? 😊
There are some photos of the old ground in Morrisons , and I think there's a piece about the centre spot , my and my mate would sneak in the old ground when Wolves wasn't playing 😊😊
1991 the wonder stuff played at the stadium
Great vid. Uts.
Great video mate, funnily enough I don't mind the poundland stadium name, it makes it sound quite quirky
Yeah it’s not that bad 😁 I do love a good bargain at Poundland
Great Video from a Saddlers fan.

Get yourself to Cheltenham Town. It you think Poundland stadium is bad WR used to be Johnny Rocks before the sponsor changed.
The first reply

If this was recorded 10th of feb then good thing you didn't stay we lost 0-3 to newport.
Hey I'm Aiden Leigh from sowerby bridge Yorkshire England and I am a Manchester United fan since I was young and I love to be on your video and talk about football with you and i also like Blackpool and Fleetwood town please can I join you thanks for good videos you do pal love Aiden
Hi
UTS
You know you did a video on Carrow Road stadium. (Norwich City) I was wondering if they do stadium tours?
I’m a Norwich fan and I tried to get a tour but couldn’t. All normal public tours are fully booked at mo. However, you can get a private tour through. It is best to have 10 friends with you as the price is £100 per group. That way you can split the fee down to just £10 each.
As Sean said, tours with clubs below the Prem tend to operate less frequently and get booked up very quickly unfortunately:(
Great Video of our Super Ground - it will always be Bescot Stadium - Aston Villa women even play here - Oh and the hotel is full of immigrants sadly thats why you cannot film there.
I’ll be back in that case as I wanted to check Alisha Lehman oops I mean Aston Villa women… 😅👍🏾
Can’t film the hotel as its full of boat people

Lol mate I get it’s part of the jokes you have lined up but you travel far to watch United games, that’s a proper fan. You probably go more than some locals. On top of that you go to all these stadiums. That’s a proper football fan. I don’t think “glory hunter” describes you 🙏🏾
Appreciate the kind words mate 😁👍🏾
I prefer local businesses, large or small, sponsoring our football clubs, rather than money bag Arabs!
