The tears in supporters eyes as the players came out, this is what football is all about. Go Bury
Nieve doesnt just make UA-cam vids. These are crafted high end documentaries. 👏
Wow. So bloody kind 👊
@@stuntpeggnieve I' m quite agree. Each of your videos has a beautiful human lesson, history, solidarity, my sincere congratulations Greetings from Perú my dear.😀
Bury is the club of one of my uncles
This is what football means, it's identity, it's history, and pride. Following the team whether they win the FA Cup or play at level nine.
Well said Espen'. Agree with all you say.👏👍
So true,it’s about supporting your team through thick and thin wether you win trophies or not
Doesn't exist in the top flight
@@FormulaProg Yes it does. Only 2 or 3 clubs tho
@@TheJReZone yeah some of the yo yo clubs like Burnley Sheff U etc
This whole saga was infuriating for anyone that truly cares about football in this country. Lovely to see a historic club reborn and the smile on that dad's face as he carries his child in at 4:48 says it all.
I'm an Arsenal fan so the lows of football me and my mates moan about are nothing compared to this, thanks for making this video it's a real perspective eye opener. seeing the emotion of those fans is amazing, football is so much more than just a game.
That bloke watering up at 6:30 got me going as well I'll be honest. Probably thought he'd never see his club play again.
I was born and raised in Bury and now live in the USA. I remember heading into Bury on match day and the town was electric. Bury FC always felt like a bigger club than they ever were because the fans had so much heart. Watching your video instantly took me back to my childhood. So great to see a resurgence in my hometown and what this will do for community spirit. Lets go Bury!!! 🎉🎉
At 4:31 the moment where that woman says "I can't wait to get on there" and is met with the instant response "what.. you're playing?" Absolutely top banter.
Haha! One of my favourite moments of the day by far
Great to see all the community getting involved. That's what football does. No other sport compares.
the community is NOT involved at Bury- BURY AFC BOARD ignore the supporters and do as they please without consulting the supporters who are members
As a Portsmouth fan myself, I know how perilously close we were to this ourselves. It's great to see Bury back from the brink and I hope they start to climb back up.
I was thinking same thing
PuP
I really feel so sad Portsmouth not being in the Premier league, I wish they can make it back again but it is going to be such a tall order ..
Brilliant Nieve. Another superb insight to a club that suffered tough times but now rightly back up and running. Things you just love to see.
Every video i watch on this channel reminds me of why i started to love football. She so wonderfully captures what it is and gives clubs and fans the respect they deserve when telling their story. I suddenly become a fan of every club she visits. Wonderful stuff!
Agree best footy vlog about, quality editing and humour. Keep it going.
I knew it was you! I saw you at Gigg filming this.
It's cool that a Bolton fan came to support, I know we've had our differences but our unfortunate similarities outweight that.
Enjoy the season Pegg
This lady is an inspiration for FM players that are looking for new challenges in that game
I was proud as a Bradford City fan to be the first team to play in a pre season friendly back at Bury FC and then watching them beat Glossop 5-1 in their first league game was amazing...To see the happiness and emotion of all the home supporters was fantastic...I wish them all the best for this season and the future...Up the Shakers!!!...Great video Nieve and looking forward to your content throughout the season and beyond...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Pity about the audio on Lee's (Aroundthegrounds) interview with u so it never saw the light of day but I'm sure your paths will cross again and you can get him on the otherside of the camera giving his footy opinions...His vlogs are something I've followed since he's started and something I'd recommend to any footy fan...Anyway best of luck 4 your boys at Bolton for the season (after u beat us 5-2 in a pre season friendly) and I hope your vlogs keep going from strength to strength 👏🏻👏🏻⚽️⚽️🐔 Up the Chickens!!!...😉
Big up glossop
It’s great to see a historic club get through hard times and slowly return 💙⚽️
It has always been great!
bro you’re the goat for supporting Chelsea
@@OliverG20 thank you 👍
one of the most authentic persons on UA-cam. Keep beeing yourself and making what you love
As a Bradford fan Bury is one of my favourite away days, there a proper English club with fans as loyal as you get.
It will take time however they will be back in the football league one day.
As an AFC Wimbledon fan who has visited Gigg lane, it is great to see you back again. We started in the Combined Counties League, which is the equivalent level that you are in and it took us 9 years to get to the football league and with that kind of support you can do it too. We had to go through 3 play off seasons to get out of the Isthmian (Ryman) premier league and then went straight through the Conference South, spending 2 seasons in the Conference national league and then beating Luton Town on penalties in the play off final (and look where they are now !) to get into league 2. You can do it Bury fc.
As a fellow AFC Wimbledon fan here's to bury's success! We've managed to climb our way up the ladder twice in half a century,so here's hoping Bury can do the same!
My recollection ,Wimbledon started in Level 9 , the Combined Counties League Premier division. Bury started at Level 10, why the difference ?
@@johnburrows3385I think that there may be more divisions now than there were back then, not 100% sure
Thank you for making the most interesting ,and entertaining videos about real football on UA-cam, I look forward to seeing what you do next, keep up the amazing work 👍🏼
The season opener with over 5000 was immense. I know a lot came out to support the town, and I was worried numbers would dwindle a lot, but over 4000 and many of us still cheering on at the end of a 1-3 loss to Chadderton warmed my cockles. Let's keep it up, Shakers. The last 4 years are a lesson in not knowing what you've had until it's gone, so let's learn it one time only and get through them turnstiles. We owe it to ourselves. UTMS! ✊
Being from Bury originally I am so happy to see the club back playing football. The fact that someone with such a dreadful history in business was able to pass a 'fit and proper' test to take over the club shows that the test is not worth the paper it's written on. I doubt Bury will ever make it all the way up the leagues to the top, but hope they can find a decent level to grow going forwards
In my head they're a solid League Two club - hope they can get back up to that level!
Why not? I think they can their history will help them with support
@@GCMAC1980 Their history was yo-yoing between the bottom two professional leagues for at least 20 years before the final decline.
Regularly pushing for promotion for most of the season, then dropping points in the last 8 games or so as they couldn't afford to go up.
If they can get back to the level they were at 10 years ago I think most fans will be very happy with that
@@SpawnMeister666 yeah my point was badly put but they are bigger than this got to have hope never know what a cup run could do for investment I think they will be back in football league in 10 years
This got me a little choked up. Absolutely delighted for everyone involved. Shows the real power and importance football can have on a community.
Non league really is brilliant.
Not a Bury fan, but this made me emotional. Seen Bury have their battles with Tranmere over the years, hopefully we get them back in the Football League soon.
All genuine football fans must love your heartwarming reports. Your natural beauty and charm adds an extra dimension
Excellent video, as always. You always seem to pick the best games in terms of entertainment or drama...5-1 this time! Love the mix of information, humour and music in this one.
My family being Rochdale fans want Bury back as much as the next person, so here's to their rise up the leagues 🤞
Thanks Nieve for yet another great video. I watched my team at Gigg Lane multiple times and was so sad when they got expelled and wound-up. My Dad came from Manchester and we used to live in Plymouth but always went to Manchester for our summer holidays! Dad would take us to games not just at City and United but at Bury, Rochdale, Stockport and several smaller local clubs. Your videos show the true spirit and heart of footy - the people and their love of the beautiful game! I'm now living in the USA and your videos bring tears to my eyes at times. Keep up the great work. Oggie.
Brilliant film. Seeing grown men cry at the players emerging from the tunnel had me filling up. Nothing beats supporting your local club
I just love the stories you tell. Journalism and emotive storytelling. Whether Bury or Napoli, you always capture the heart of football. Thanks again for another great watch.
Fantastic nieve excellent video the pride was shining through for Bury fans what a story
Thank you Ricky, really is fantastic
The bad times give a club proper history wolves an. Bolton have that in spades too never stays Rosie for to long lol
Used to play for Bury pretty much every time I started FM career since 2007, so cool that I can see what's happening from your unique perspective. Thank you!
P.S. That guy in the beginning rocking The Chameleons t-shirt gets all of my respect
I remember Indian great Bhaichung Bhutiya, the sikkimese sniper, played for Bury FC in 99-2000 for a couple of years. they did relegate to Div 2 in that time but still what an achievement it was for an Indian footballer which is so snubbed by FIFA that even very talented individual players arent allowed to trial for Big teams. Bury was huge for us then.. very happy that they're making a comeback, Up the Town
Only just stumbled across this absolute gem of a channel! You're doing a great job...keep it up!
Brilliant, as per... You have an incredible knack for finding the most compelling stories and telling them in the most entertaining and unique ways. 👏👏👏
This channel really helped me get my love for football back, real football i mean.
Town against town and all that
It’s so nice to read this cause I fell a bit out of love with football as well, then I started going to matches I wanted to go to instead of always the ‘glamorous’ ones, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. So glad it’s had the same effect on you. Really appreciate this.
It’s so much more than a game
PuP
Absolutely fantastic video, Nieve. I truly hope they go all the way in the future, Come On Bury! Supporting you all from Westbury, NY.
Can I just say (as somebody who just recently started watching your vids.) that I LOVE your music choices for these clips!
Much love from Croatia! :)
This video makes me think of the types of videos I saw on copa 90 stories. Well done. I'm glad to see Bury have weathered the storm and are on their way back up.
This is an astonishing mini-docu. Well above your standard piece of tv journalism in quality. Your channel is properly excellent.
You make some top-tier vids. So real. Always with a wicked sense of humor. Amazing (Subbed 🙂)
Nice to see Bury on the up again. Given what happened to them and my own club Macclesfield, it’s great to see both clubs bounce back.
I remember watching a video exploring Gigg Lane when it was run down and abandoned - amazing to see it as it should be once again, full of life and hope! Thanks for another amazing vid Nieve - not seen a single upload of yours that hasn't been a joy to watch :)
Really lovely of you Mikey, and very well put, I think I may have also watched that same video, by Sam? (Footy adventures) he’s great.
@@stuntpeggnieve Thats the one - another great channel, was nice to see you bump into each other on one of your more recent vids!
@@stuntpeggnieve your videos are class, really get to the heart of what football is about.
Credit to the Footy Adventures guy too, couldn't stand him initially but he's literally done more for Scottish football in the last decade than the SFA or any of the clubs have.
Great to see Bury back. Now can they do a Luton and climb from non-league up to the Premier League?
That’d be some story!
@@stuntpeggnieve What. That Luton did it first?
And I hope Luton can drop down from the Premier to Non league asap 😂
I really enjoyed watching this video. I've only just very recently come across your channel, and I love the way you present your content. To see the journey that the club and it's fans have been on, and is coming back from too, is exactly what football and community is all about. It would be great to see you make a video on the club that I support, Stockport County. Not exactly the same set of circumstances that Bury faced, but boy has it been a journey over the past 15 years. To see us on the rise again is just incredible, an absolute joy to behold 😊 One of your fantastic video's telling our story would be amazing to see! Keep doing what you do, you've certainly gained a new fan in me! 👍
A fantastic video, thank you for making this to keep our story alive. As a Bury fan you made me cry watching this, happy tears ❤
After all the tragedy that this club has went through, I am so happy to see Bury to get their Futbol back. Thank you for covering this Nieve. Fantastic Work. If i ever come to England, I think this is where I will start my non-league experience.
Love your channel!!! Watching in TEXAS!!! Keep up the great work.
I'm blown away with the production of your videos. 8:02 made me chuckle. I love the history of English football, maybe one day I can cross the pond and see an EFL game! Cheers from NYC.
As a life long Portsmouth supporter I can fully understand the emotion that your club can bring
I was at Fratton Psrk when the PST managed to save the club, with loads of grown men bawling their eyes out because our club was safe.
Here’s wishing Bury every success
Love the channel btw
Great video! Love seeing bury back at Gigg lane, such an amazing story how passionate their supporters have been to make sure the brought bury home and regained their club! 👏🏻👏🏻
brings back fond memories of my student days in Bolton and my walk to Bury over the moor. Well done Bury fans for achieving what you have achieved.
i love your coverage of these smaller clubs. I hope they continue to be worth your time. Thank you.
By far and away my favorite footy channel. Love the presentation, the fact that Nieve delves into the areas of the game that others overlook. Keep 'em coming, it's great stuff!
Thank you very much! Can’t wait to go to all the clubs I’ve got planned for this year
Hello there. UA-cam suggested this video and I watched a few more of your posts. I love your positivity and covering smaller clubs! Glad to see Bury back! If you ever want to see some small clubs in the USA, I’ll take you!
Your videos and especially your research are like sublime. Worthy of a newspaper to call you in my opinion. Wouldn’t be surprised
Another great upload, thanks. The Bury story is so uplifting but it also casts a light on the awful governance of the beautiful game in our country. I travelled down with my Dad and Son from Newcastle to Bury around 10 years ago and saw Notts County get stuffed at Gigg Lane. Despite the result, we had a great day out and a proper football experience. I really wish Bury FC all the very best and hope they can get those 8 (or was it 9) promotions and grace the increasingly sterile PL.
I love the video you do and the support you give to the little clubs
Great video! My beloved Millwall were born in the same year as Bury. The thought of them going out of business is frightening, yet it could happen to any club. Well done Bury and shame on the greed that ruins people lives that love their club.
Love this video. Such a sad story with a brilliant turnaround. Well done to all concerned and well done you for putting an excellent video together.
I love your videos, and this is no exception. Really love your analysis and your sense of humour, keep smashing it 👊❤️
💙😊 thank you
@@stuntpeggnieve Nieve, you should do someday a video about Espanyol, the rivalry we have with FCBarcelona and the current situation on the second division. Would be nice!
Absolutely! I’m planning that at the moment!
@@stuntpeggnieve Awesome! You will enjoy it so much, it's some kind of special club. If I can help you with anything just let me know! You are invited to the stadium whenever you want!
Such a great story. Well presented as always. This is why we are fans. For moments like those. Best of luck to Bury in their fight to return to the efl
This video made me so emotional 😢 I've seen the post on twitter, the news that Bury was reborn, it made me happy in some way being a huge fotbal fan.
Delighter to see the Shakers back in action. I never heard of them until I started working with a bloke from Bury in Dublin 20 odd years ago. I've been a fan since!!! Onwards and upwards!!!
Excellent article and very professionally done. I found myself wrapped up in Bury's plight. Will look out for their results from now on.
A very emotional watch. Lovely story Nieves. Thanks
I love this video. The passion and pride that oozes from the terraces and I can see you’re emotional too. It doesn’t matter that you’re a Bolton fan, it’s irrelevant. You’re a football fan and that’s what counts.
This was a really heart felt video, you could see the emotion, how much it meant to the fans to have their club back, this is what football is all about, #pride
You do amazing videos! Thanks for the upload and cheers from Sweden!
It feels so unfair to only be able to put a like on this video to show my appreciation. This is stunningly wonderful. Thank you Nieve. Thank you Bury. Well done to both.
Well done Neve really heartfelt video very well done. Improving all the time. 😊
Amazing vlog. Thanks for everything you doing for us. I love this passion of fans.
Thank you for your passion and dedication to this wonderful sport. I hope that you have more football matches in your future. Also, if I see you at a 1.FC Kaiserslautern match, I will buy you a beer.
that was fantastic top work neve sorry if i spelt it wrong for me this is one of the most underated blogs out there had the honour of going to bury ehen my club played the in the early 80's really hope they can get back in to the football league follow your local club thanks again steve
Informative video as always mate. Glad to see you back making great content! Forever proud of you, and an honour to call you a friend.
Thank you so much! I can’t work out who you are from your user name, please reveal!
@@stuntpeggnieve VERY informative as I'm a Yank and know very little about teams that have been regulated much lest nearly broken (have to love those volunteers!). As soon as you showed Steve Dale's photo I could tell that he was dodgy AF........
You are truly a treasure, Nieve!
Would you consider coming to the states to cover MLS? I understand if it's too much of an undertaking.
Keep up the incredible work! ❤
Those 18 seconds from 6:00 , you caught something there Stunty, class, we've all had that glaze over our teams, even just for a split second. Lovely stuff.
Love the emotion just below the surface in your final monologue. You always have a more interesting perspective than the other You tube football vloggers and keep the crap quality phone footage of games to a minimum. Well edited and concise...get yourself up to Firhill this season 😂
Have I won a Bury season ticket?
Another fabulous video - it’s always about the fans!
Nieve, you are truly one of the best football content creators out there. And so happy to see Bury coming back 😊. From a Villa fan
Ahh thanks so much Chris 🙌🏼 great win for you guys today!
What a brilliant video, what an emotional story thank you for aharing this with us all this has to be one of the best football stories and hope Bury can get back what was so cruely taken from them
Brilliant video again nieve- I was also at this game but surprisingly enough my video didn’t quite get the engagement that yours has 😂 keep the videos coming nieve-,fantastic youtuber - the best out there
Brilliant. Would bring a tear to a glass eye
Thanks, that was the most moving video you have ever made.
Beautiful Vlog!! Loved the emotional return for the fans. ❤
Outstanding work once again Nieve! The people of Bury have got their livelihoods back slowly but surely. A real fairytale story. I just hope Dale goes into hiding 😅
it’s amazing the stadium wasn’t ruined by vandalism in those closed years. Fab documentary, thanks for all the work you did for it
Thank Christ that Ally Law never heard about it.
Another brilliant vlog, the detail you put into your videos is incredible. Was so nice to meet you at the game.
Was lovely to meet you! The bloody audio cut off on our clip, I was trying to find you to let you know, so I’m glad you’ve commented. I’m going to check out your video now, look forward to watching it
@@stuntpeggnieve ahh no worries I was a nervous wreck then anyways probably wise you didn’t include it haha. I always get nervous interviewing and more so interviewing you at the game. Your content is fantastic and so well thought through. It’s nice to watch your vlogs to learn and grow. Go easy on my vlog I hope you like it haha.
Great video, I didn't know about what happened to Bury, very sad, glad they are staying positive. What happened to Oldham was so sad, one of your rivals has a great video on that. Such a great club, great stadium, Premier League side once.
Off topic, slightly, Nieve, but would you consider doing a video on Plymouth Argyle? Interesting club. Meet Pilgrim Pete!
Great video Nieve great to see bury is back and never stopped fighting 😃 wish you all the luck for the future
brilliant video , these kind of things should never be allowed to happen , best of luck for the season and KRO
What a great video, we need this young lady presenting/reporting on wsl, I will also keep watching bury's progress thanks to this, as its very similar to my Swansea city's experience
This just shows how much football needs it's fans, well done to everyone who made this possible 👏, hope to see you back in the. football league as soon as possible , from a grimsby fan
This is an amazing story...thanks for telling the tale!
I love to see a fanbase that can save its team. Might be worth looking at the #savethecrew story for the Columbus Crew in the MLS. Oh, and we took the cup this year to boot! Anyway keep up the great work!
What a great capture of the emotion of the older fans when clapping as the teams came out. They didn't just resurrect a football club, they strengthened their community. What does football mean to people? What do people mean to football?
What a fantastic insightful video. Many thanks.
As a Stockport fan then its great to see you on the way back ... you will have a ball and don't be surprised when you get back the FL football (and you will) that you miss the non-league scene ... its real and honest and I enjoyed it
Great video, thanks. As a Scunthorpe supporter I can understand Bury's plight and adventure. Look forward to playing them as they rise again. UTI
Great football storytelling. Keep it rolling!
I really enjoy the music in your videos 😊
Hi. In the last frames of your video you were stood outside my gran's house. So yeah, we get free parking and a hot brew after the game when the weathers rubbish. UTS - love the video StuntPegg, thank you. xx
