She’s NOT in the military. There are 7 uniform’d services in the US. The Army, the Navy, the Marines, the Coast Guard, the Air Force, the Space Force, and the commissioned corps of the Public Health Service, and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. She’s an Admiral in the Public Health Service which has no enlisted, same with the NOAA.

It's kind of ironic that you can walk into the VA and claim to be the opposite sex and be treated as a extra special hero, and have a lifetime of unquestionable care for that reason. At the same time, people with documented wounds from Combat have to go through the ringer just to have pain and mobility issues even considered. Then its another road to actually receive treatment.
I'm honestly surprised the VA hasn't advocated for veterans to commit suicide like the Canadian equivalent institution did last year.

My father is a retiree that has health problems as a direct result of his service and time in Iraq and Kuwait. He had a stroke in 2019 and things have only gotten worse. The VA has been making him jump through hoops the last year and some change and cant get past the part of doctors determining how sick he is and if he even 'qualifies' for help.
He can not work. He has difficulty driving and doing some things the later in the day it is the more inpaired his cognitive function becomes.
He still has recieved no help meanwhile they can help people transition genders

My FIL is 89 and an Army veteran. The VA does cover his medication and hearing aids. However, he has had 3 hospitalizations in the past year and isn’t able to get in to see physicians. His only income is SS and he has medical bills that he can’t pay. My husband is an Army veteran and can’t get appointments at the VA so we have medical bills of our own. It’s sad that we are paying for people to have expensive elective surgeries and long term medications while people can’t get basic care that they need and deserve. It’s shameful.
All because the Gaystapo has a bigger priority

In my time in the marine Corp the only thing we cared about was if your physically fit and if your competent to fight along side your teammates all had diverse skill sets from demolition man to machine gunner to mortar man not ones in all that time did anyone say anything about race outside of stereotype jokes when we're all hating life and getting eaten alive by abnormally sized mosquitoes.

Admiral Rachel L. Levine is not in the Navy, but rather the the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). For some silly reason they get to wear uniforms if they want to. HHS is not the military.
