      Love English, with Leila & Sabrah, a little correction is needed in the word 'help'. It should either be 'helps' or helped', shouldn't it?

  • @jorgeromera3861
    @jorgeromera3861 6 років тому

    From "get about" to "get with", my Collins Cobuild Dictionary of Phrasal Verbs has (has got) 12 tight letter pages devoted to GET. And I've got the hunch that mastering English means mastering the use of "get" (not easy to get through that, though). But don't get me wrong, I'm not getting on at that. Every language has got its own particularities and, as a learner, I've got to get the pleasure out of that simple fact without getting round the difficulties. Anyway, I don't want to get away of this comment without getting this off my chest: great video!!!

    I plan to go to London next month, I am planning to go to London next month. What is the difference between these two sentences?

    • @LoveEnglishUK
      @LoveEnglishUK  6 років тому

      Really, there is little difference in meaning. ‘I’m planning ‘ suggests you are in the process of arranging it, whereas ‘I plan’ it’s more you’re intention. ‘I plan’ can also sound a little more formal. Hope that helps 👍
