Boxelder Resin Bowl

In this video I have taken an boxelder bowl that I had finished some time ago. That bowl had voids and holes right through the entire piece. Now I have taken that bowl and filled in all the major holes and voids with some red resin/epoxy to make it much more functional and I think more interesting looking.

Is there a link to the carbide tool you used to create the burr on the negative scraper?

Thanks, yes, it is a Veritas Carbide Burnisher at Lee Valley www.leevalley.com/en-ca/shop/tools/sharpening/32643-veritas-carbide-burnisher?item=05K2030 which you can get from them either in Canada or in the US.

I just use a 1” to 1.25” wide skew, but you can get negative rake scrapers from Woodchuckers. There is one profile for inside the bowl and another for outside
