Woodturning Pine End Tables from a Wooden Beam

In this video I use woodturning on the lathe to create end tables from pine wood beam sections. The turning is primarily spindle type turning and the pieces are quite large and heavy. The challenge is to get a nice clean cut and to achieve my desired shape with something so large.

Thanks, yes for sure these were the largest spindle type projects I have ever done - lots of shavings and the shop smelled like pine for days.
