    I'm really glad the judges acknowledged Kaegan giving up control of the kitchen as a good thing rather than a sign of weakness. One of the hardest things I've had to learn in my few years working in kitchens is to push aside my own ego and desire to impress people and just ask for help when it's needed.

    • @NJelBoi
      @NJelBoi Рік тому +65

      This. 100%. I myself was so relieved because too many people think of it as a bad thing, but it is absolutely a trait of leadership. Leadership isn't just about leading others, but it is about leading yourself as well. The ability to relinquish control is just as valuable as the ability to take control. They're not inherently negative traits, it's all in how it is done. I think Kaegan demonstrated that very effectively.

      I worked with gordon for 7yrs and ive never known him to mentor a single person to to my knowledge.
      he was mentored by marco and marco truly took Gordon in to his own home and taught him personally and not just professionally. then gordon got jealous one day because he wanted to open up a chain and the investors he went to wanted marco (Marco declined) and gordon sent a masked robber in to marcos restaurant to steal the booking log from the front desk in order to ruin Marcos restaurant.
      before you backlash because a low IQ gets offended so easily rather than just look facts up. this is all over the internet and gordon even had a back handed admission on graham norton show.
      he tried stitching his own mexican michelin star friend up live on TV saying his tacos wasn't good ans he put gordon straight in that moment.

    Everyone was happy for her. She seems like a genuinely nice lass (as we say in the uk)... except for the baby. When the confetti popped and everyone started cheering, it scared the heck out of him/her....

    My intuition tells me Beccy probably has a diagnose of some kind but of course it's all purely speculation.
    If that is the case though it could explain why she finds a lot of complicated things easy and simple and is able to be so calm.
    I have a diagnose myself and I have tried multiple times where I found something naturally simple and just to be pure logic where others would be baffled I could do it with such ease, and the way Beccy words herself feels very familiar when I word myself about such things.
    Also her level of accuracy when it comes to replicating small details is insane and it could be because she is able to store knowledge incredibly well.
    When someone interacts with her as well like when jen said "good job beccy" in one of the elimination challenges she seems startled and overwhelmed which is a classic reaction for someone with a socially affecting diagnosis.
    All this said though her main reason for being so good is hard work and dedication, she did win masterchef after all, that takes a tremendous amount of skill even if it is a reality tv show with behind the scenes tinkering.
    In the end hats off to beccy for a insane performance in this season.

      10:13 Yeah she deffo has something, she wasn't smiling to be cocky it's just that she doesn't feel emotions in the same way most would so she wasn't feeling down about her critique she was probably just taking it in and trying to learn from it.
      Looking more and more at her facial expressions I am almost completely confident rn she has a diagnosis of some kind and I honestly feel sad for her that Alvin had to say that.
      That one line could be stuck in her head and still haunting her to this day.
      Ultimately I've done no actual research so there is still the very possible possibility that she does not have any diagnosis at all and just behaves the way she does, but from my expeirence in life and with the knowledge I have it seems she very much does and needs to be respected with how you treat and judge her.
