2. During Collection:
Punctuality: Stick to the HDB appointment checklist.

How much you pay for the defects checker? What is the solutions for the defects found? It is unlikely HDB will be able to solve some of the defects found.

Do you mind sharing which defect check company, you have engaged? And some companies have the option of package for just 1 meeting with BCA, or 2 meetings package... which you have used, if there were different package

I think most Defect inspection company are rather decent with the good reviews. Yes it can range from 1-5 trips and the cost differs with each additional trip. Mine was 3 trips

Do you recomment to hire defects check a second round after BSC rectify from the first round?

After construction complete and internal fittings done, HDB will send you notification. In other words, if they don't contact you, just have to wait.
