It is sliced into long cuboid shape or minced whereas for kong ba is usually big slices and fried before braised. Haiya, if dont know the difference dont call people wrong leh..
We tried 11 Fingers after this recommendation but it is at most an OK plate of curry rice. Can eat if you are there .. But then if you are there, there are better things to eat at the few coffeeshops there .. 😅
Verdict of Eleven Fingers cause I just visited today. If there is only one thing the Jln besar beats out is the ngoh hiang, the rest not so much! The egg's toasted edges also helps to round out the gravy while the pork chop is thick! big plus is that you can use the CDC vouchers for this place.

Annette looks and sounds like she seldom eats hawker food (eat a bit alr spicy sweat lol), so doesnt really know what to look out for when trying these types of food and doesnt know how to best describe the taste hahaha. Zermatt is definitely a frequent hawker customer who appreciates hawker tho, can just tell from the way he eats then describes everything (e.g. knows which are the key simple ingredients to order, no need the excess) - reminds me a lil of KF Seetoh.

To me, Beach Road Scissor Cut Curry Rice beats them all basically cos of their opening times. They're like the 7-11 of curry rice stalls. There's one day I went to tabao lunch from them, went there for dinner, then went out for drinks with friends until midnight and we still managed to eat supper there, all in the same day 😂
unfortunately beo crescent curry rice's seating space has become smaller after their renovation. harder for diners to find seats now, and will be quite hard to accommodate them to film as well.
Can't go wrong with Scissor's Cut Beach Road. Absolute classic. That one's good for pretty much all day. Brunch, Lunch, Dinner or Supper. For me right? The Sloppier the better, the flavors somehow are much more cohesive as a result.

Problem with curry is it is eaten with tons of curry gravy. Prefer the sauce to be served seperately so can taste the individual dish better. Frankly last curry rice if u eat the dishes individually, they are not as nice.
Annette is not a natural foodie ...she has talent in other areas for sure.. but not in food review.. will not trust her comments.. Didnt even want to use her fingers to eat chicken wings couple of episodes ago... big MINUS.. will not watch zermatt video until she is out !!

Heard Beach Road one owned by PRC now and operated by PRC staff. I had it months ago and served by PRC.
unfortunately beo crescent curry rice's seating space has become smaller after their renovation. harder for diners to find seats now, and will be quite hard to accommodate them to film as well.
Actually many people used to bring their plates into the hawker centre in front, even before reno. Just have to return them when done eating inside
