I got an 2011 Palladium Silver E500 AMG Pack the same week you got you E63, and religiously follow your amazing content and dreaming i can one day own a 212 E63 like yours.
Every time I’m done driving my c63 I always think to myself that I will buy another one somewhere along in the future, just amazing to drive and the prefacelift w204 is timeless
Got the same car, had a few issues over the years (I beat the hell outta this thing so 75% of the problems are directly on me) but I haven’t had these yet. Good to know there is a fix for when they inevitably happen. Thank you once again for your amazing content
As always, your videos are of the best quality and education. After owning my 2011 E63 for about 8 months now I really cannot see myself getting rid of it for any other AMG. Yes the new ones are ‘cool’ but I find after 2011 a lot of the AMG’s were very gimmicky. The M156 and the styling for me really does signify the last of the traditional iconic mercedes mixed with old school AMG’s ridiculous take on. For me, the M157 and on just lacks that over the top experience that is more than just numbers, but character. I also think the engineering that went into the longevity of AMG motors was left behind after the 156. I will keep this car till I die.
I agree with all of your points except the dislike of the grey interior. My car is practically the same as yours except tenorite over grey interior. I like the paint, but after owning the car for a year I love the grey interior. It brightens it up and looks thoughtfully done; just the door cards and seat centers looks like an afterthought. Maybe not as sporty, but it's an E, not a GT R. Definitely agree on the 19" twin 5 spoke wheels, working on collecting a set to upgrade the worn out 18s that came with the car.
Well done! I love my 2011 E63. Coincidentally, I replaced the PVC valve and cleaned up and refreshed the intake manifold last week! There was very little oil in it. That headlight trick is really cool, I have never heard of it. I need to try it
Love the car, and the fact that you do your own work. After watching your videos, i tend to go out in the garage to detail my engine bay after seeing how mint your car is. You show a great attention to detail.
As an owner of a 2010 Performance pack W212 E63, at around 140k kms I have noticed the following: - Engine Mounts giving away ( Expected/Normal) - Transmission started showing signs of slippage/ sometimes a lurch forward when driving off. - shifts not smooth - rear differential started a slight humming noise which progressively got noisier. (Could be a thing with the LSD as it is a PP). Things that annoy in this particular car in my case from low mileage early on, the transmission programming in comfort mode is way too sluggish and unresponsive in a bad way. The car feels heavy and you need a lot of throttle input to get moving particularly when the car is warm after some driving. Other than that this car is a pure joy looks/Engine/ performance. Oh performance is surprising even more so at high speeds this thing gets happy at 180 km/h and above like another power reserve is made available. It somehow pulls harder from 200 km/h and above.
When the W212 came out, there was a "Oh my God, what did Mercedes do?" moment. And unlike BMW who stuck to their guns and continued with the crazy designs regardless of all the backlash, Mercedes got scared, spent a billion dollars, and made the most generic face-lift ever. The W212 pre face-lift sedan and coupe, are still the best looking E classes, especially when slammed on a nice set of dished wheels with a front bumper lip.
the facelift has held up so well though, it still looks modern. the preface lift, while it has grown on me, has shown age much more. it looks a like a weird in-between generation design, borrowing the quad head light style from the w211 but diamond ish
Old video I know, but I was interested by the cars you showed at the 6:05 mark... here in Australia, only the Elegance trims got the colour split like that, with a dark dashboard and lighter everything else. If you ordered an Avantgarde trim, the lighter colours (beige, light brown, dark brown, or grey) were only applied to the seats, upper centre console, and door inserts. Cars with the AMG sports package or the E63 models came only in black, unless spec'd with a designo interior.
Alright, I know the manager of a click farm in Bangladesh, I’ll call him now. Make sure that thing’s got brand new Michelins on it next week, I wanna see a grand go up in smoke 🛞💨
@@AMGmeister sounds just like my cls63 same exhaust. mufflers are shared between the two but w211 e63 had the larger more restrictive mufflers. I was thinking about removing the resonators and adding H pipes to gain that stronger amg grunt
@@shawndon7374 the w211 corners like a bus. It's fast in a straight line. Rude is well cushioned that's the + points. The 156 in w212 handles way better the engine it self is more inspired from a racing heritage. Just a more driver's involved better sounding responsive engine. I'll get my coat
That tailpipe selfie popping is EPIC 👍

Your videos are so well shot, I can watch anything you post
the fact that u own my 2 most favorites benzes is so mindblowing and ur storytelling is nice to listen❤
Nice to know someone shows love for the prefacelift E-63

Brilliant job/info fixing the headlamp lens! Mine are the same and need to be done.
Quality video as always. 👌🙏

2009 cl63 here with m156 engine , i love my babyyyyy
Wow - excellent tip with the headlight cleansing, brilliant!! Might try this on my W210 lol

Facelift is so much better in my eyes. No gimmicks, just good design and much more timeless.
Sorry, facelift looks better, especially the front. The LED headlights look expensive.

Beautiful ride! Really like that shot at 9:13.

As always, excellent video, informative and well spoken with great visuals. Keep up your awesome work 👏🏼
Are pre facelift W212 E63s one of the best looking AMGs ever made even in 2024?
Great video as always. Is there any videos or information regarding the windshield lubrication service?
Nice video. The genuine look is the best look. I wouldn't change anything. Greetings from Germany🙂
vvery nice w212
Would've been awesome to have some step by step videos on the sunroof service 😁
Yes my headlamp lenses have that same film on the inside..
one of my favorite channel, thanks a lot !!!
@AMGmeister I'm curious, do you own any other vehicles aside from your AMGs? Is this W212 your daily driver?
Stunning car.
10000% agree with you, the later W212 is the downfall of Mercedes design.
That’s exactly how the dealership cleaned the lenses of my w212 under warranty 😂. Have you started to agree with us that w211 was built better? 😉
I would love to know how I can find out how many E63 wagons were made for 2021 for the US market. I am only told that it is rare.
I know that this channel is all about MB content but I wonder did you own other cars from other brands?
Can you do this headlight fix with w204 c63 as well?
W124🤙
7:33 🤤
Great channel! Love it! What did you do to your exhaust to sound like that? I love the sound.
Nothing done to the exhaust, completely original.
@@AMGmeister oh wow I thought you did something to it, mine does not sound like that and it’s stock as well. We’ll keep up with the great content 👌
Satisfying
Just use salt and isopropyl shake it around and it’ll clean anything and everything off
Hi Vinny,
If I clean my headlights, does my W212 E220cdi can go fast as your E63? 😅
Thought you were gearing up for a burnout in the last shot
At 100,000 subscribers I’ll send it. 😆

Most surprised this E63 was rated better for steering and ride handling balance against the Porsche Panamera.
The haze in the headlight seems to be an issue on the W221 also. I'm going to try this on my S65.
stock exhaust ?
Yes

2004 E55 amg is best
Why and how do you make this opinion?
E55 is beast but I prefer the 4 valve m156. There's no wrong answer. Both are top notch.
@@shawndon7374 the m113k is no way better than the m156. Owned both.
