Movie is so underrated. Everyone who talks about Tarantino always goes on about Pulp Fiction, Django, Inglorious Bastards, etc. But no one ever mentions this absolute masterpiece

Two beautiful parts of this scene. 1. How he turns around after killing her to tell her it was right where he said it was. 2. How the music stops when the car stops then starts back up at a climax.
But the music wouldn't have stopped just because the engine stalled, the key was still on.

Everyman felt like this at some point when they don’t shut their noise hole.
This incredibly tense parking lot windup and execution lead to the famous and incredibly hilarious line of enquiry from Sam Jackson’s Ordell character when he met up with Louis “You shot Melanie? Couldn’t you have just hit her? You shot her twice? Is she dead?…” 😂🤣 Just brilliant scripting, acting, and directing.

I'm really curious if the hissing sounds she made while taunting him was in the script or if that was all just Bridget being fully in Character... cause damn... that has some seriously powerful symbolism. Very intense.
That was the most annoying part because it sounded ridiculous. It was like, she couldn't find any decent put downs, so she offered childishness. I would have laughed and said, "is that the best you got?" She would have been the one frustrated.

Bridget Fonda has been my favorite actress since her voice over character of Jenna from Balto.
I really miss bridget she was awsome in every role she played.
in my opinion one of the prettiest actresses of all time.
It wasn’t just a Tarantino thing - the exact same scene happens in the book the movie was based on: “Rum Punch” by Elmore Leonard. It’s a good read. QT stayed pretty faithful to the book, except the book was set in Miami. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. De Niro’s performance is so fantastic; it’s one of his best performances.
