I always appreciate your honesty and lack of gun snobbery. If it goes bang every time you pull the trigger and hits what you're pointing at...it's done all it's designed to do.
I echo your sentiments Mike! Pastor I would like ask one question....could give a ballpark figure as to how many rounds you have put thru it in the past 3 1/2 years
I have one also it is awesome piece... I totally agree.
Agreed, too many dbags out there that stick there nose in the air if it doesnt say Sig, Hk, S&w etc I picked up a S&w 442 and 637 in .38 special and honestly wasnt that impressed by it over some of the lower priced revolvers. Great review!
@@dodge3187 I m thinking about a good quality revolver and lever action rifle with the same caliber would be a great way to practice training.. stepping away from the semi auto loader
I am learning more how this level of revolver will become into the market.
Have the exact same snub. Bought it over 12 years ago. This is my everyday carry. I've shot 200 grain bear loads through this bad boy, your comments are spot on with this budget revolver. I paired mine with a MASC holster. God bless
21 years with mine. Never had a misfire. Probably put about 1000 rounds in it.
Hello. I just purchased a 4” version. I was concerned about shooting 200 grain bear load, but sounds like you’ve had good success. Still the case?
I purchased one about a year ago. Shoot at local indoor range. A very solid, good materials, well made revolver. It has become my snub .357 for carry.
does it have sight adjustments or not?
@@31acruz No adjustment , but very accurate anyway
Exactly.
@@31acruzNo
Thanks for this. My first handgun was a Colt Python I purchased in 1974. Destroyed when a drunk driver hit my car 15 years later. My carry guns are all semi auto now, but I do miss having a .357 woods gun. This one just might fit the bill.
elk hunter did you make him pay full price for both the car and the gun?
I had the 4 inch king cobra 357 mag. Stainless steel. I miss it
That sucks!!! Hopefully they charged that guy with destruction of precious, irreplaceable property.
Ive had the 4" barrel version for about a year now and I really like it, its very accurate and the heavy frame tames full power .357s pretty well. My only piece of advice is don't wait to clean it after you shoot it. My cylinder got really caked with residue and it took a good amount of time, solvent, and lubcricant to get it to spin freely again.
I bought my Windicater 357 snubnose last year for $275. Good solid gun for a good price.
I bought the snub nose back in 2013 and it is on the table next to me right now. Has been an absolutely phenomenal piece of hardware. This little powerhouse can do it all; I did however replace the rubber grips with wood and just makes mine right!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
+1! Happy Thanksgiving GFG and all like minded subscribers.
🇺🇸MAGA🇺🇸
Happy Thanksgiving....me lol
Thanks, I agree 100% with your comments, a great revolver.
I always appreciate your recommendations. I'm carrying my EAA Windicator .357 magnum with 2" barrel today. Thank you!
I couldn't agree more, I have one in nickle and I carry it everyday. Excellent value, and great review back then it's the reason I bought it lol
Do they offer them in nickle standard or was that custom?
@@highkingthorgrimgrudgebear7468 it was a standard order found it at Grabagun i believe they come in blue steel, or nickle plate that is flat not to shiny
@@mikek4443 Any regrets?
@@highkingthorgrimgrudgebear7468 none whatsoever it was on sale for 199 at the time, where are you going to get a 357 for that price. Goes bang everytime, is well made shoots straight and the weight handles the recoil well. I've never fired 38s through it yet only full power and it does great.
Just bought a Windicator 357 4 inch revolver ... Love it! Thanks for your video, it gave me the nudge to go for it. I have 2 Henry's and 2 Rugers, the Windicator is the smoothest one of all. Very nice gun. My wife has trouble with a 9mm ... loading and chocking. This one she can handle. It's a bed side and snake gun mostly, but it's fun to shot. Thanks for your videos!
Happy camper here.
I bought one. Haven't shot it but it definitely has a good fit and feel in my hand and usually the only time a revolver fails is bad ammo or something breaks and it's definitely a solid gun.
I bought the 4 inch model based on your recommendation. Thanks Brother! Still got work to do with, as far as getting the accuracy down, but it goes bang every time!🤠
when i was a young sprout i won a turkey shoot with a BB gun that shot low and to the left. In my young mind, I knew that it could not possibly be a fault with my aim. so i aimed high and right, plinked bulls eyes all day to the consternation of many men who aimed the way you learn. if you shoot consistent groups change your aiming point. it helped me and put food on the table.
I get my 4 inch in .357 on tuesday, i'm so excited!!
giggle bush you’re gonna love it. Really nice looking piece.
Gregarious Solitudinist that’s my point. I haven’t shot it enough to truly pattern it yet. I have maybe a hundred rounds though it. Once we settle on a load and get it to group, I’ll work on the sights. Being a hand loader, I think I can get some tight groups and tune it to the sights. Just takes time and work.
I found a 2" nickel finished Windicator online for $380...but I had to search for a while! Thanks for the reviews and recommendations brother.
2020: what a strange and unfortunate time we now live in!
I bought a large grip for my Windicator last month and it cost about 44 dollars. Bought it online at EEA website. Was carrying with 38 SPL but now I can carry 357 mag. Cylinder screw came loose is the only trouble I've had.
put blue lock tight on the screw. I did
About 4 months out of the year when the weather is cooler here in South Florida, I can wear a light button-down shirt over my t-shirt. this allows me to conceal my EAA Wind. so, it enters my EDC rotation paid $250 and I love this gun!!
Thanks for the video. Straight to the point and answered everything I would ask about owning it for a while now. Thanks again. Praise God.
Bought this today and have been watching all the follow up videos on it. Out door will be $307. Thanks a bunch and God bless you for the ministry.
Great review. Exceptional value at that price point for a safe and reliable carry pistol. Can't go wrong with the caliber as ammo is very, very plentiful and not too expensive. Praying for you and your family
Glad to hear this I just bought my first 2 inch snub nose windicator can’t wait to try it
I have had mine for eight years now .
I just got mine. Loaded with 357 magnum....no complaints what-so-ever.
Still enjoying mine. My backup . After my G 23 Gen 3 Great firearm for backup in those woods.
EAA rocks with all their offerings.
Couldn't agree more I bought the snubby and the 4 inch on your recomendation and love them both.
What I like most about your gun videos is that you represent yourself as a regular guy, not some tacticool mall-ninja with camo using buzz words with a bunch of gear in the background that you were paid to advertise for. Practical > tactical imo.
i have one 4yrs still look brand new i like it its a solid steel..........made in Germany ..........i want to buy one more but no longer available...
Great finish on the gun
AWESOME VIDEO, GOOD CHOICE BROTHER .357 WILL DO THE JOB...
I have one and like u said it is very worthy , my first weapon and I’m so in love with this windicator it’s great for me 👍😊
For some reason I just love German, Swiss and Italian made guns, I sold a SHIELD (have two so it was all good to me) for a pocket carry revolver (as I didn't have one at the time) initially was shooting-high for a Colt King Cobra 2-3" or a Ruger GP100 but then I saw this and doesn't bother me one bit. Perhaps b/c im used to the USP c .45 and full sized SIG 1911 (or Beretta M9 or Glock 19/17). I actually really enjoy carrying this and I enjoy that I have to get my skillset up to shoot it as well as a DA/SA or SAO or striker, getting there. Also fun to practice pulling the hammer back for as fast shootin' as possible. Seriously a gem of a revolver if you aren't a bitch about weight and trigger pull :P
i paid a little less for mine and ive had it since it was first imported love it. i love firing 357mag out of mine and i find the poi doesnt change enough to worry about when i fire 38 spl's Happy Thanksgivings everyone
I had a failure with mine it locked up and I could not open the action. Had to send it back to EAA and they fixed and sent it back with a butter-smooth trigger. i love mine especially after Eaa did a trigger job on it.
Awesome cool video. Thanks for sharing your videos. I truly hope that you and your family have a very blessed and safe holiday season.
Love your videos! I have one of these in my truck and trust it implicitly. And you can “plink” with these using .38 Special. Happy Thanksgiving, GFG!!
Great video and its a tank gun and for the money worth it. Love mine.
@Keeth B A tank gun is a heavy duty weapon that is not only heavy in weight, but in overall quality and well made like a tank.
@@ratagris21; Exactly. Just like my 1996 Dodge 2300 Ram with the 8.0 engine. That's a 10 cylinder power house.
@Keeth B S & W is good especially the early models from pre 2000's otherwise expect to pay double or triple the price compared to EAA Windicater models.
Thanks for the follow up review. The revolver reminds me of one I sold several years ago and I still to this day regret selling it. This would be a comparable replacement. And at the price that I bought the Colt Detective special back then. Thanks Again. Love your videos.
Great for the bedstand and backpack
I had one also and I loved it should not have got rid of it
Just purchased one today
Will give feedback after I take it out
Just got the 38 snub well waiting my 10 days in cali
I have 3 of these. 2 snub nose, one 4". I have hit soda bottles at 30 yards with my snubs. Never had a problem with any of mines. However, I have not been able to find a nice holster for the snub nose and could use some insight. We send you greetings from St Louis and wish you continued success with what are doing.
Steven Peebles barsony holsters I have one and it’s great
I've seen some foreign company that sells handmade ones on Etsy.
It's been three years already, wow!
And it holds 6 rounds. These things come into the country as 4-inch models to a factory in Florida that trims them down to two inch which makes them legal for import. I've had one for about 4 years and love it.
What? You can get them in 2-6 inch barrels. If something is illegal to import, it cannot be received in the U.S. legally.
Great tool
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Loved mine, shot well felt great in the hand
Thanks so much! When I saw the amazing price on these I thought "but how will it hold up?" and now I know!
I have had two of these, great gun for the price. Traded them for more than their value.
Nice video, and Happy Thanksgiving.
Thought real hard about getting the EAA, but decided on the Taurus 627 Tracker 4" for a .357. And a S&W 642 for a snub nose (1 7/8").
Tracker is nice. But I'm going to get one of these for CC.
Seems like a decent revolver. Meanwhile, I sent my Ruger SP101 back three times for trigger failure... I told them they can keep it. 🔥never again.
My 1st shot was at 30 yards and busted a plastic bottle with it. I love my snubby and my 4 inch Windicator.
👍Purchased the .357 in nickel this morning. Stay tuned.
I just bought one of these. It's got a grip like a Hogue.
my daily carry is still my trusty ol' 4" Ruger security six .357mag.
My only complaint is due to the 4" barrel and my preferred method of carry which is " appendix " @ 12:30 it crushes muh nuts when I'm on my motorcycle. However that's not really the guns fault.
Some dude that’s why I always tap my nuts to the back when I ride my motorcycle. No more problems.
@@terrygrossmann2295 xD
They finally sent my back ,the chamber was locking up after 50 rounds threw it brand new lucky it had a life time warranty , I was however upset I got it back and can see rust and scratches all over and was upset that the parts they can get ended up being more of a teal blue than the rest of the firearm and doesn't match but you can only tell in good lighting and I think it adds character too it it's pretty cool . However I have mixed emotions bout this firearm I'ma have to give it a few years before I can determine weather or not this is a reliable firearm I just hope it goes bang when I need it to
I fired one once and thought it felt really nice. I don't remember the barrel length though. I would eventually like to get the 4" model.
Great follow up!! I was wondering how it was working out. At that price I wouldn't mind getting the snubbie and a four inch. I have two prayer requests. My lovely lady ( Donna ) is very sick with multiple medical issues. I'm a little scared and she's scared to death. It took me 61 years to find her and I have never been so in love!! The other request is for another UA-camr named Mr Holster. He's been getting treatments for cancer. He lives the most Christian Life. He lives near the Canadian border and it's a two hour drive each way for chemotherapy. Then he has to tend to the ranch. After one treatment he came home and was ripping out trees for a new shooting range. He talks to his dog Jack on the phone and it's a riot. Donna and I love waking up to him. Then saying our prayers after you. Have a great night!! Rich
I just prayed for your two prayer requests. I am a Christian. My wife and I will have been married for 50 years next February. We are both in disabled, I am 72 and she is 70. I know what it is like to have a sick wife! I am praying for both of you. I have seen your remarks in the comments section of several of the gun channels I follow. I am a big Mr. Holster fan and I have been for a long time. I have already been praying for him and his wife. "and Jack!" lol
This message is 4 the Brother who's been married 49yrs, Jubilee!, who replied to the above pray request: Isaiah 55:10 sez that Poppa gives "seed to the sower", which means that Jesus gives "Need to the Knower"- when we pray 4 the needs of others in need, then ALL of our needs are met, according to Matt 6:33, our Christ Mandate Is Brotherly Love = Gal 6:2, so, Seed is other people who have desperate needs, Choose to Adopt them thru Intercessory Prayers & watch God Work Mighty in your lives! Amen?
@@justincase7661 Thank you for your reply and the comforting words of wisdom.
I too own that same revolver, for the price you can't beat it. German made does what it's supposed to it's a good heavy frame built revolver I have nothing bad to say about it
ALERT ! FYI, this might save your life:
My Windicator 357 had a bad or out of spec cylinder stop (WINDICATOR 38 & 357 Cylinder Stop - #18 - #301626), which I had to order and replace myself.
When I tried to repid fire the revolver, the cylinder would get stuck and not fully turn to the next round, rendering the revolver useless, once I bought the new cylinder stop, I was able to see that the original cylinder stop was slightly too large in the wrong place, and that was causing the cylinder of the revolver to get stuck while turning at a fast speed (at slow speeds it did not get hanged up, only when rapid firing the revolver, and it did it consistently, so I know it was not me). After I replaced the new Cylinder stop, I was able to rapid fire the revolver and it never got hanged up again, the cylinder turned fully to the next round as it should every single time without failure.
cubaniton74 I think my windicator is having the same problem. It’s fine when fired double action but when I switch to single, it always seems to catch on the cylinder that has the .357 mag stamp.
Thanks for your update. I just placed an order.
The only reason I didn’t purchase this gun was because of the weight (30 ounces empty) as I wanted a pocket carry revolver! I purchased a Taurus 605, five rounds, at 24 ounces. So I gave up one extra round with the Taurus. The Windicator is really built well for the 357 magnum, but it’s really a waist carry gun. Both these revolvers are a great value!
Another great , informative post . T/Y ! JKM&SLM ... Momma's decided to retire the Makarov for a .38 Special .
I had a chance to buy one for 280 right before the apocalypse started and didn't get it. Now you can't find one at any price. Hopefully they will get back in stock next year.
I just bought one today for 400 kinda high on the price but what isn't these days. Glad to hear good things from a good source if this guy says it's good I believe it. 3 long days ahead what am I going to do. Lol
You ever put any of them 200 grain hard cast through it?
This was one of my first revolvers.
Thanks for small guns I think a 3" is best , most of the bulk is in the grip & any added length from 2" is a large % in gain & at that level of power , more is better . As far as speed to draw , I don't think most people would feel a large difference . I think most people would use a 38+p , but if you did use a 357 , all the better to get more power out of an extra 1/2 or 1 inch . If a person would hand load all the better as some powder works better for short barrels & med to light loads . Power Pistol & Unique would be a good choice .
Well put Dan!
WOW! This video went a long way in convincing me to go with the Winicator. I'm looking for a budget-friendly revolver, I've also seen good things about the Sarsilmaz SR-38, of course, I really want a Ruger or S&W 586:)
Sarsilmaz makes outstanding guns as well. I own the K245 and it made me ditch my 1911's. It's an absolute tackhammer. Smith and Wesson is of course excellent as well. Own a 586 nickel in 6" that's almost too beautiful to shoot.
@@Commander76 Yes, that 586 nickel sounds excellent. I still don't have one, because the prices have just soared as you know, but a blued 586 is what I'm hoping to get one day. I'm just a sucker for traditional firearms. I have one 1911, the Tisas SDS Imports, WWII clone love that and a good shooter too. My EDC is usually a Ruger EC9 in 9MM, only holds 7, but love the size and comfort of carrying it. Also have a Taurus G2C I'll carry now and again, the only revolver I have is just a Heritage in .22lr and .22MAG if you switch the cylinders. For $175 - $200 it makes a fun gun to plink with.
Excellent German product as most all are.
I was thinking of buying one of these now I will 4” one
Kevin did you ever buy that 4 inch version?? I am wanting a stainless one..Found one and decided to look at some reviews first, then when back in to order it and it was gone..I was so upset..If anyone knows where to find one let me know please..Thank you
Exactly what I'm doing right now. Check Sportsman's Warehouse. Idk if I'd want the 2" or 4".
I bought one of these after my SP101 was stolen, meaning to replace it with a new SP101 after the insurance kicked in. I like the EAA so much I'm not going to do that. The only trouble I've had is that mine will shoot very low if I line up the sights level (and it's not shooter error). I had to paint my front sight about half way down the ramp. When I hold there, it's as accurate as any snub nose revolver ought to be.
Seams like you like heavy recoiling Firearms as a .357 in a 2" Barrel seams like it would have to much recoil to be comfortable putting a lot of rounds down range. Have a Blessed Turkey Day Everyone.
I have one and love shooting it.....It is very heavy so recoil isn't bad.

If you could please pray for my mom? My dad died January 9th, 2018. With the holidays my mom has become more depressed. @walker jfs Brother any Qs, just send me a note. GOD doesn't leave any seekers alone, I will pray you thru your Journey. Bcuz of hardship we learn sympathy towards others bcuz nobody was with us when we suffered alone except The Merciful Embrace from our Good Shepherd Lord Christ Jesus. I would say it will sustain it's presence.. I own a 627 s&w and there is a place for both.. the only gripe I have is that 6 rounds and hard to find reload clips on the eaa. But the eaa is very easy to carry and reliable
I sent my windicator off to be cerakoted.. I can't wait to get it back with a tungsten gray finish!!!
I have nickel finish , 4 inch but isn't that Lipstick on a pig?
I believe it's "V"indicator since it's made in Deutchland where their "W" is pronounced like our "V" and their "V" is pronounced like our "F" as in Volkswagen being properly pronounced in Germany as Folksvagen, meaning People's Car. See? "Folks" = "people" in German and Americans have been using it not knowing they were speaking German. And, of course, we pronounce Vagen as wagon.
I went with the Ruger sp101 2" 357 mag
Taurus defender grip fits
I can't believe it has been three years
Great video!
I own one I love
Please don't hesitate to mention that this is a German made quality product!
For me it's I feel a little to heavy but it's great and my favorite also currently.
This gun needs a recessed crown
It's my first gun, and it's going to be my conceal carry gun.
It’s six years later now. Do you still like the windicator?
Love your videos!
I just received word yesterday that my Sister who’s been fighting MS for years, as well as some other health issues, now has stage one cancer in her leg near her lymph gland. She has another surgery before the one where she can have the cancer removed & is planning to have both surgeries before Christmas, so your prayers would be much appreciated.
Thanks for everything you do in Christ Jesus! “Since He did not spare His own Son, but He gave Him up for us all, how will He not also along with Him freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)
God is so gracious to us all! Problem is that seeing & savoring it often times is very difficult if not impossible. Seeing & savoring God’s goodness is a gift of grace as well. So that’s what I typically pray for. Reminds me of the song, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus... and the things of earth grow strangely dim in the light of His glory & grace.”
Blessings y’all!
Dan
I will be praying for you and your sister.
I expect that many of our brothers and sisters on this channel will be praying.
Hey, Brother Dan, you may want to research Bee Sting Therapy - as a legitimate cure for MS... All things are possible to those of us who Believe,,, 97% of all cancers are related to the adamant spirit of unforgiveness. Also, known as a devouring spirit. Our Christ Mandate Is To Love, Bless, Forgive & pray 4 those that despitefully mistreat us,,, Matt 6:14-15, Manna for the wise. 1Jon 4:19 compels us to emulate Yeshua. Find out who/what needs to be forgiven & get her to Repent with Holy Oil & James 5:14-16! Find a Prophet to do the Anointing Ceremony, don't use church people, please. Vaya Con Dios! 😨
Cool, I was wondering about those guns.
Great info from an exceptional source.

I'm very much considering this revolver. I have a charter arms 38 special but I wanr a 357 to carry often. The windicator seems like it for me. I appreciate video too. How's the recoil?
Love mine....it's on my night stand every night!!
My carry snubby is a Smith and Wesson 629 😁
I believe some loctite on the crane screw will prevent the locking up issue.
any chance of a ruger sp101 3 inch review thinking about buying one
Great... good... you can't find this gun anywhere online.
I had a the same gun and never even fired it. The screws kept backing out like the holes were over drilled. first and last time I own a EEA product
That's a simple fix all you need to do is put some Loctite on the screws I know they should have done at the factory but ever since doing that I have not had any problems with mine and I am a license firearm instructor and I use this gun to break people in on double action revolvers it's been through over 8000 rounds and so far no other issues
Smokeys butt hurt ...never heard of loctite eh?
