Hate it when a period property is wonderful on the outside and inside every period detail is stripped away and it's all modern. Ugh!! This property is absolutely beautiful, inside and out.
Lovely amount of space and a lot of the original features I would keep but I would make proper bathrooms and showers for some of it. Very interesting price for where it is and outdoor space as well. Thanks Tom well done :)
London's great and all, but Nottingham seems a better city to live in. Small flat for £1,950,000, or palatial mansion for £1,950,000, seems a no brainet to me! It's opulent without feeling too much like a museum, it really feels like a house suitable for more comfortable casual living. What really gets me is the versatility and flexibility of the layout, you could convert it into a few apartments if allowed. The basement could be one apartment, the first and second floors could be another one or two units, and the third and fourth floors could be a little penthouse apartment.
maybe for you, but almost 9 million people disagree. 1. far more restaurants of all kinds 2. far more cafes nightclubs etc open almost 24hrs a day 3. 5 major airports which can take u to the corners of the world 4. bunch of train station which can take u to all over uk and also the euro star 5. more museums and attractions 6. more and better universities 7. better job oppotunities with better pay 8. better housing market with greater price rise 9. better hotels the list goes on why London is the biggest and best city in the country if u can afford to live there
Gorgeous, just gorgeous. I was sad to see that they missed the chance to have a kitchen that hits a ten. Some of that cabinetry they stopped short where if the kept them taller reaching the crown molding it would have looked seamless. That was the first thing that popped out to me . The rest, stunning!
A fairytale home, the originsl décor is exquisite. I don't sense any "ghost" vibes just a cozy feeling The many rooms each of them different and unique in details and each of them has the stunningt fireplace, the baths are modern but built with a nid at an art-déco style. I like the bathrooms simplicity, the walk in shower and the bathtubs. I like having both. The contrasting black radiator, instead of impossibly hiding it, enhancing its beauty a genious idea. The briar art-déco wardrobe, a reminiscence of ny chidhood. The possibility to offer privacy. A sensible solid house, built with criteria of absolute comfort and relax. A marvel. Airy bedrooms, where sleeping must be a delight with the fireplace lit just now, the right period. For a big family, many children, extended family, people who love to live together with their parents. There is enough space to offer privacy but built to to draw peoole together in the drawing rooms, the kitchens. I do a absolutely adore this house, love it and possibly a dream move at first sight. Yes love at first sight. Thank you for showing us this rarity. Kind regards.
I could tell by the price, it wouldn't be in London. Beautiful residence, love Nash's work, would be a beautiful home to own. Not familiar with Nottingham.
@@Libertaro-i2u I've seen some of these property shows and prices are very high in London. I spent some time in East Anglia about 20 years ago & I liked the area, but don't know how expensive homes are there.
Lovely - but I dislike the combination kitchen/dining room. Open concept doesn't suit the interior of this house - and I understand its appeal is waning...
The Park is a very high end part of the city though. Private roads (in fact I think the whole district is private) and street lamps lit by gas. Houses and flats here are sought after.
I was gonna say Cheltenham, being from there myself, possibly landsdown area? But the price is too low for this much house, this high spec in the n’ham. Then someone said they entered a raffle to win it and it’s in Nottingham which makes more sense! 😅
Such a shame that the lady who won this very house on winmyhome was only offered a £5000 consolation prize and was basically told to be grateful for it. It is a lovely house but the owner and winmyhome uk behaviour was disgraceful.
I have to say whoever designed the interior to this house did a terrible job. Nothing makes sense. The bathroom, the open shower, placement of certain things. It’s not well done
Under the present climate whereby approximately 98% of british people are struggling to pay for winter fuel, I think it's inappropriate to showcase these type of you- tube videos. Just saying
It's lovely to see it hasn't been stripped of it's character inside. Enchanting home!

@@JK-sh8rc but sadly the wood panels got painted white, it’s too many modernised whites
@@naisunys Paint can be stripped. At least they left the wood panels intact.
This house is just perfect, normally the uber expensive houses are tacky as hell but this is absolutely astounding, if only I could afford it?!❤
The kitchen is my favourite, such a great blend of traditional and modern, love the gold cornice
This is exactly to my taste. I simply love the period feel and how it was retained and complimented. Great price too, I think
Beautiful Home. Nice mix of the traditional and the modern.
Truly beautiful home, quality throughout……so stylish…..
What an absolutely beautiful home. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could afford it
One of my favourite properties on your channel 👍🏼 love the Quirkiness of the layout 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Old made to look good again. Flipping gorgeous!
Nottingham is very underrated imo, the park estate in particular is gorgeous
The park estate is an oasis in Nottingham, very leafy, beautiful at this time of year especially
You totally passed the gorgeous Victorian room heater at the entrance! Hello! 😍

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding reception a couple of years ago, lovely home. Shame it’s being sold
Understandable for it being sold. the layout plus attention to detail in design make it a very attractive opporunity for event leasing.
You can see the John Nash influence, wouldn’t look out of place on Regent’s Park
The park, Nottingham 😊
I would use that ground floor bedroom for the primary bedroom. With bad knees and feet would be a big issue going up and down the stairs
Or you could possibly install a lift.
Yikes! You can see the fridge when you walk in? And a house this elegant has a combo kitchen and dining room?
Tom and jaz are the best👌
Tom style of clothes🥰
It’s very cozy
I wish I had this place in my backyard!
I've seen estate agents promoting this house for a long time. I wonder why it hasn't sold?
Too small
Probably waiting 'till after the budget to see how much damage this god awful government are going to inflict on us.
Nottingham , good area, but the area opposite is well, Nottingham
Over-priced. If anything doesn’t sell it’s because it isn’t worth the money.
@smoath It looks to be a security nightmare, there are numerous access points where a burglar can easily break in.
Stunning
Townhouse Video, Best Video!
Stunning house 🎉😊
That house is nice, can’t afford it. However, that sweater...drop the link!
Nottingham city Centre close to the esteem park estate
this house is so romantic ♥
Beautiful x
Looking at the floorplan, I can see why it hasn't sold, the layout of the house is quite awkward.

They used this house on come dine with me during covid
the only problem with this house is that if i owned it, i’d never leave
Definitely The Park, Nottingham. I entered a raffle to win this house a bit ago
Lovely! The Park seems like a great area to buy in (if you can afford it).
The "winner" of that raffle was not even given the house, she was offered a measly £5000 as a prize instead!
Location? Address. Layout?
Stunning. Maybe it’s the right house in the wrong property market - otherwise, why has it not sold or been won in the aforementioned raffle?
Amazing 😮❤
The house is really beautiful
I could tell by the price, it wouldn't be in London. Beautiful residence, love Nash's work, would be a beautiful home to own. Not familiar with Nottingham.
Yeah, In London you can usually only get a small flat for £2,000,000.
@@Libertaro-i2u I've seen some of these property shows and prices are very high in London. I spent some time in East Anglia about 20 years ago & I liked the area, but don't know how expensive homes are there.
You’d get a shoebox in London for the same price 😂
Not going to lie but I would want my cars parked alot closer to the door 😅
Amazes me why anyone would choose a flat in London over something like this.
Because if you work in London then you might not want to commute every day.
Because Nottingham is the crime capital of the UK!
When can I move in?....
That second floor kitchen is very jarring and doesn’t look like the rest of the property. But amazing otherwise.
There was a raffle to win this house, but no one won because not enough tickets sold before deadline.
Been on the market since August, slightly out of my budget though unfortunately 😩
Where can we check the details please?
I dont like that beautiful moulding painted gold. It's giving off a tacky vibe.
The park Nottingham
2 million for this is a steal if you ask me .. only down side might be the location ( don’t know much about said town )
Nottingham. Very nice pad.
I think it's in hampstead
London has to be
The original details are truly beautiful- but the treatment of them by the renovator are dreadful.
He said ''Cornicing'' multiple times !! What is '' cornering in the subtitle'' ?
Tom: I'm in the backyard and this home is listed at below 2M
Me .000002s later: Not London

Dreadful interior and poorly planned. Who wants to walk directly into a kitchen from the front door
Must be in Kensington Palace Gardens
@@andrew4809 lol…at that price you’d get a parking space there
£20m in London easily 😂
An exercise in contemporary taste, 😂.
But not too contemporary. Most contemporary architecture tends to be sterile, this is not.
A perfect home for a lady with a poodle.
Well it’s not London or it would be £10 million 😂
Easily at nearly 6,000 square feet.
Plymouth
So what is the prestigious address? Nottingham. Nice enough city, but hardly prestigious. 😂

Nash was in the Regency era, he was George lV's architect. He designed the beautiful Carlton House.
