I’ve watched other versions and your style of cooking is the closest I’ve found to my late mother’s. She was an excellent cook from Bulacan and took after my grandmother who was half Kapampangan. I was born and raised in the States and I don’t have my mom anymore to teach me her recipes. I am so grateful we have UA-cam so future generations don’t completely lose their heritage. Thank you for sharing!
This is one of my all-time favorite foods to cook and eat (I just made one yesterday! ) but I prefer using shrimp to chicken. However, blanching the string beans is a great idea so I'll try that next time.

Ako naman po pag walang oras at kain na kain na...sa microwave oven ko na lang pinapalambot ang kalabasa...kapag pinakbet ang lulutuin... Pero pag kalabasa ang main like ganyan dapat sa style mo...para mas malinamnam....Thanks for sharing.
