Love the guitar intro! Is it practical to do Digipi email on HF like Yeasu ftdx10 or do you recommend on the Yeasu ft991? I'm just looking at getting my first rig. I was almost convinced at getting the ftdx10 until I found the 991. Now I don't know how the 991 compares to the dx10. First world problems. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
all great radios, though, i don't have stick-time on the dx10.. My 991(nonA) is tempermental, and a bit more difficult to configure for digital modes than similar icoms, but work perfectly when setup.
Brilliant Craig, I keep changing mind on what HF radio to get, especially for digital modes. I'll have to check out the FT-991A video now. ;)
Good info! Wish I would have had this video several years ago.
Thanks for the information, you covered some things that others didn't. 73 W4DES
You can save the setting to an SD card and load them later. I have setting files for FT8, Winlink, SSB and RTTY. Works good! 73
