Secluded Beach Wild Camp: Lake District National Park Adventure | Bushcraft, Tent & Hammock Camping

- The weather was warm and Lake Windermere was calm, perfect conditions for a Spring wild camp. Heading down to a secluded spot on a part of the Lake that stretched out like a leg we made camp. We had the wonderful beach head to ourselves. The day soon changed to evening and we made fast work pitching our tents and hammocks. Unfortunatly Mark's Hammock took a turn for the worse and split so offering to have him bunk in with me for the night made sense.
We made short work of getting firewood for the evenings fire and got it lit ready to cook our meal.
Enjoying the peace and quiet we relaxed and talked about old times.
The morning broke into yet another beautiful day and having had breakfast we packed up and said goodbye to what was a fantastic area to pitch at.
Catching the ferry back early doors, we ambled our way out of the harbour and to the car.
