Wow! Dan, that sure is a nice weather center. Good luck with it and do an update in the fall/winter to let us know what you think of it. Thanks for sharing this. Have a great today! Catherine
AND TONIGHT ON THE WEATHER WE HAVE A NEW WEATHER MAN DAN FROM HOME IN THE STICKS. GREAT JOB DAN. PEACE&SAFE JOURNEYS DAN. ENJOY IT AS WE WILL. THANK YOU.
Thank ya for watching and commenting Holden Afart, welcome to our community and the channel!! I hope your weather station works as good as mine did for me sir!!! Dan
Hey Dan and thanks for the video! I got me the 5in1 for Christmas so I can keep up with the wind we get in North Alabama for fishing. I got it all set up but it keeps telling me on the AcuRite page that there's no sensor. It did last night but now nothing. I didn't have it mounted, just left the outside unit on the porch to test the temp accuracy (and it was spot on). Mounting is giving me a heck of a problem. I have a 10 foot piece of 3/4" conduit (like it suggests) but it won't go all the way into the mounting bracket. I'm going to mount the 3/4 conduit to a 20' power pole with only an outside light on it (no power going to it). That will raise it up about 5+ feet over the ridge line of the house. Thanks and have a great day!
Thank ya for watching and commenting breid 1966, welcome to the channel and our community!! Sounds like you are really gonna get some good weather stats going 20+ feet high with that sensor, I need to do the same with mine lol!! Preciate ya stopping by the channel, you have a good weekend!! Dan
I like your video, I like the info you provided for the product. But most of all, I like the window sticker in the top center door glass that you have!!! I know I can trust a BROTHER!!!!
Hello there Mr Waco Renshaw, welcome to our community and the channel sir!! That weather station has worked flawlessly for several years now and yes sir, I'm a traveling man!! I thank ya for watching and commenting, you have a good Thursday, come back and visit when ya can!! SMIB Dan
That was very fun man a total upgrade from your last unit. I thought it was going to be way more expensive than set at the end.I’m glad you can see your wind speed now
Thank ya for watching Terry Cummings, welcome to our community and the channel!! I really like my weather station, but a heads up on the outside unit, get it as high in the air as ya can, you'll get better data!! Dan
It's sure is confidence inducing Dan to know what's ahead of you. The fact you have an actual monitor screen and you can gather data is a bonus - well top rate! All the best. Mark
Yes sir Mr Mark, I like to be prepared weather wise!! The monitor provides a lot of data for sure, the rain gauge has to be my favorite function!! Thank ya for watching sir!! Dan
Cool weather center ya got there Sir! Looks like it covers everything. Keep us updated on how it does once it is leveled out. Hope you had a great Hump-Day and shine on brother!
Very nice weather station. Coming from Hurricane country, I watch the weather real close. Nowadays I watch to make sure my. Little pepper plants from the severe winds we tend to get out here.
Thank ya mam and thank ya for watching!! This ol boy sure enough stays up with the weather and Lawd I know about them hurricanes!! Take care my friend!! Dan
Thanks for the video. I just purchased mine. Two questions for you. What is the difference in the ABC switch other than synchronization? If all they need to do is match and offer no other benefit, why not just have one letter? The other aspect which I dont like is I cant mount it on the wall given it has to always be plugged in making it take up counter space.
Hello Mr Chad, welcome to our community and the channel sir!! The ABC switch is to pair the sensor with the base, reckon the sensor sends off multiple signals so if A doesn't work, B & C can be used. My thinking is the opposite of yours lol, I don't want to mount on a wall yet the base has no "legs" to just have it sit on my table as I have a plug near by!! The base can run off of batteries but I think that would get expensive in the long run AND the batteries serve as a back up in case of a power failure. I thank ya for watching and commenting sir, have a good week!! Dan
If you check out that piece of Pipe that your weather station is on, it says Charlotte Pipe on it. That plant is about 20 mins from my house! I got several friends that work for Charlotte Pipe. One of them might have run that section off that you are using. How cool is that? Man, I got to get me a weather station. You make it sound so cool. I am going to ask for one for Christmas maybe haha.
They're definitely cool Ronnie, this upgraded one puts out a lot of useful information, I'm glad I got it!! Purty cool info on the PVC, that would have cool if one of your friends put that piece of pipe together!!! Thanks for watching brother!! Dan
Thank ya for watching and commenting Zeek M, welcome to our community and the channel!! I've been more than happy with this weather center, been running flawlessly for the last couple of years now!! Preciate ya stopping by the channel, have a good humpday!! Dan
Hello Mr Steve, welcome to our community and the channel sir!! Yes sir, I leveled the PVC that the sensor is sitting on top of and I used a smaller level on the sensor as best I could. Hope this answers your question!! I thank ya for watching and commenting, have a great week!! Dan
Hello Mr Rusty, welcome to the channel and our community sir!! No sir I didn't glue the PVC, several years later it's still up there and doing a good job!! I thank ya for watching and commenting, have a great weekend!! Dan
Thank ya for watching Mr Phil and no sir, I didn't have to calibrate the rain gauge, well at least I didn't see that I had to in the instructions. I think the older models required that process!! Dan
I've looked at those weather stations but I just want sure if they are worth the money. I have the small unit the tells the temp inside and out and then it will forecast for the next days weather. I'll be interested to see what you think of this. Thanks again for sharing.

Thank ya for watching and commenting JJ 2.0, welcome to our community and the channel!! The wind speeds are pretty accurate on my weather station, the rain gauge is a lil off on mine I think!! Preciate ya stopping by the channel, have a good week!! Dan
Thank ya for watching Mr William and welcome to my channel sir!! The model that I purchased dos not connect to the internet, I believe there a a few other models that do. Maybe one day I'll upgrade to on that registers lightning strikes!! Dan
Hello there Green Dream Project and welcome to y channel, glad ya stopped by!! I'm really happy with how this new weather center is working, wish I would have upgraded sooner!!! I thank ya for watching and hope ya come back and visit when ya can!! Dan

I just got my 5 in 1 last week just wondering if ur having any issues with the sensor some reviews people saying they only get about a year out of them
Hello j p, welcome to our community and the channel!! I've had my 5 in 1 set up for a lil over 2 years and I can say I've not had any problems with the sensor as of yet, knock on wood!! This weather station has been thru several tropical storms without a glitch. Hope that answers your question and I thank ya for stopping by and watching the video!! Have a good week!! Dan
Hello K H, welcome to our community and the channel!! The weather station has been working flawlessly and I have to say it's very accurate!! Thanks for watching, have a great week!! Dan
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mr Sam, welcome tour community and the channel sir!! Dang, sorry to hear you're having problems with your weather station, mine finally stopped working after several years and bad storms!! I hope you can get another one that works for ya!! Dan
oooohh im a weather junky , i love that! last year i was on hurricane ride out crew for my chemical plant , and during the Harvey 50" deluge the weather equipment we have sade raining cats and dogs LOL
Hey Dan do yourself a favor and pour some gravel rocks down the PVC pipe. It will give the PVC pipe stability and help prevent it from breaking due to weather, age, and sunlight. I use to have one until an owl came by one night and took off with it. I guess he thought it was something he could eat. I found it all smashed up about 1/4 mile from the house. I put it back up and a Red tail Hawk took off with it, never to be seen again. So now I just stick my head out the door and look around and go back inside the house. LOL :-)
Hello sivasankar s, welcome to the channel!! Yes the weather station is very accurate for my purposes. The only thing that may be off is the wind readings as I need to get that outside monitor higher in the air to get a good wind reading!! Hope that answers your question!! Dan
