- Crystallized honey can be a problem. Warming it slowly at the right temperature will allow you to liquify it. You can do this without hurting the benefits of raw honey. I just use two 100 watt bulbs to warm the honey in my cabinet. I use a light switch dimmer to control the temp and a weather monitor to measure the temp inside. The max I have seen with my setup is around 100 degrees on high setting on switch. Thanks
Dimensions of my cabinet is 31x29x20

Great stuff! A fantastic idea to a common beekeeper problem! Thank you very much for sharing!!
Nice design!!! The lights shining through the honey looks great and it is a great heating source. Well done!!
Sir do, nice heating gizmo you made 🤨 thanks.
Your gizmo reminds me of the gizmo I made, due to the abundant sunshine, I mounted a used lawnmower body which I can wheel out in the sun. Thanks for sharing 👋.
I like it! I couldn't help thinking about maximizing the insulation and it occurred to me that a small dormitory refrigerator with the lights, thermometer and dimmer switch might be a good option. Of course the number and size of jars/buckets will be a concern. Still with a well insulated box, your idea is even better.
Materials used:
2x2 lumber for frame
1/2 plywood for exterior
Reflectix for front(could be used to insulate it more)
Accu rite weather monitor
2 100 watt bulbs for heat source
Dimmer light switch
Old refrigerator, thermostat, 2 light bulbs and fan. That is it. You can liquefy honey right in a cases.
If you a castomer- put your crystallized jar in to dishwasher for cycle or two.
