@@MattandJulia Will you ever travel to the USA? Will you ever have children, l know the children have will be so beautiful. I absolutely love all your videos, so interesting and I feel like I am traveling with y’all. Keep up the traveling.
God Bless you both. I’m in my 70’s and I’ve become a travel snob. When I was younger I would camp out and take public transportation but now that I’m old I need my own vehicle and a nice hotel room and eating out. It’s terrible I know. I love watching the two of you being so adventurous. I would be scared to stay in Guests houses. You guys do it with such gusto and vigor. I’ve learned so much by watching your channel. And seen places like I’d never be able to see them. You both do such a great job of giving us the history of each place you visit. You both were born to do this. I hope you get to continue your travels for as long as you want too. ❤️❤️❤️ When that guy said give me 100 for a beer you should have said give me a thousand so I can rent a car. 😂😂😂😂
Thank you so much for such lovely words Cheryl! So sweet of you! We appreciate it! 🥰 So glad to have you along with us! ❤️ Haha, now that would have been a trade! 😃
I like the CBT initiative, it was a nice house you stayed in too. Thanks for the interesting background information you gave on Karakol. Lovely old church building that! Your meals look so appetising, well presented, yum! 😋😋 Interesting story about the awkward situation with the disco guy... 😬😀
Karakol has a quaintness about it that makes travel worthwhile. What I always love about your videos guys is the way you allow us to experience the town or city as though we were there with you. That's a quality you guys possess that makes your videos so special and addictive. When you talked about the feeling of being at the edge of something wild and then the view from your room...it just felt warm and beautiful. Stay safe and be good.
That's what I like about you two you attract such unusual people ( weirdos for the most part) and that's just us subscribers! The positive vibes express heading your way!
You can run into people everywhere asking for a beer...haha. Karakol is much better than the sanitorium...food and accomodations. Another great video. 💗 from San Diego, CA.
Loved this video, thank you. Such a nice house where you are staying. As always seeing, different places and cultures and such lovely architectural history. Your both brilliant, we were laughing about the Morrisons bags 🤣 it's just so random. The food looked great, thanks for sharing. Wow, had to laugh about the demanding drinking disco dancer 👀 yes there's always one, ha ha🕺🕺it's like they have sixth sense. The views were brilliant from where your staying. Looking forward to the next one 👍🥰 x

The Dungan food looks amazing. I have never tried it. I love Uyghur food though and some of it looks similar, like you say about one of the dishes a bit like Laghman.
Great expose on a part of the world 99.99% of us will never get to. Am hoping it is not just me but I'm curious how much things cost, like the stay in the guest house and the meal you enjoyed. Thanks!
On goats which love to "run around and eat"...the place we now live in came with two goats. They had a large enclosed area and were well fed. But ... if they could get out and run around , they certainly ate. Usually they targeted shrubs with the largest price tag.
It's scary and also irritating to have to deal with people like that man. You don't know if they're crazy or drunk, and they can get out of control in a heartbeat. Psycho! Loved the house where you got to stay. Very nice.
I don't know how Morrisons bags ended up here in KG. But are kind of brand on their own now, regardless of the chain in the UK. It is a brand of plastic bags here. I think the supplier will keep producing these bags and send to KG with same branding even if the chain in the UK ceases to exist.😀
I have read a similar story about frozen chicken from the US ending up in Kg, that people called "Bush legs" (this was during Bush) but I don't know if that is an urban legend. Can't remember where I read it..
I'm fairly sure the Morrisons bags are actually made in Kyrgyzstan rather than being exported, for some reason that logo has become really popular and has just been copied from Morrisons. Some of them have Kyrgyz written on them and if you are really lucky you might see the very rare different coloured Morrisons bags, red, blue green etc!

There are tons of Finnish plastic bags in small corner shops in Russia (especially around Piter). I'm guessing it's a similar story.
So interesting! And sad at the same time, but I suppose at least they are being used instead of just being thrown into a landfill site 🤷♂️
