I think in 5 years time the word ‘scale’ will be out the window. Plasmo will be building planes and getting a mega sized proxon cutter out to make the wheel wells look more detailed
@@ScottKenny1978 What about turning a FW 190A into a Ta 152? Or a A-6 Intuder into a EA-6 Prowler? Or two P-51 into a F-82? So much Challenges of going the difficult way
I’m picking my jaw off the floor after watching this. After comparing the original wheel well from the kit with the real aircraft, I can see what drove David to improve on the detail. His work is truly without peer.
Like your style. I did these kinds of modifications on trucks when I was young and had good eyes. Loved to paint the numbers o the gauges and have rust stains in places. The tiny milling makes sculpting so much easier than the tiny files I used. You're end product looks incredible.
Great job on the main gear. You did plenty of exact cutting, drilling { I know those micro bits break VERY easy}, running wires, and adding plastic. You did make it all look so easy. Plenty of talent there David, you have plenty of talent. THANKS FOR SHARING! Excellent job. Congrats!
I said it before and I'll say it again: other people watch football, I watch Plasmo. Same result in dopamine production. What you keep doing is beyond impressive! Keep up the good work!
Everyone wants your wonderful skills. You need to look around, assemble, and continue painting. Then you might be able to make it just like you. You are a teacher.
Creating a realistic looking wreck out of a tank or a car model is always fun! Blown up tank=exposed innards+colorful burnt metal effects, with rust if it is an old wreck. Old Soviet tanks often ended up being abandoned, I seen videos of abadoned IS-3-s on UA-cam for example, and since you can crawl into those, you can get pretty nice pictures and footage of the inner details of these tanks.
I love the way he slips in his comment I hope you've enjoyed the video on this minor modification lol minor cor blimey I could barely see some the parts he was adding. What a talented modeller you are sir and you have my utmost respect ✌🏻🕊
Thank you for the cool modeling videos, I use them as almost tutorial vids, they help a lot and I have only made 3 models, so I'm still new to the hobby
Every time I think " this is it, impossible to add more details " and suddenly Davud releases a new video with some "minor modifications " ......really impressive, no it's beyond impressive !
It's hard work, isn't it. Fine details are almost scratch building. Bit it makes details so real. It doesn't looks like a model for me. Thanks for uploading.
I hope you're going to to set this plane in a "just took off - in flight" position perhaps with a mirror underneath. Perhaps add a removable pilot. Can't wait to see how you finish this plane. It's already a master piece.
After the nosewheel vid I thought I was prepared for more mindblowing detail. When that photo of the main gear leg appeared, I immediately realised it would get even crazier..
I like your style of modeling very precise for not having even been under a wheel well door !! I am an old modeller and you inspire me I used to fuel F-15's F-16's A-10's and a couple of F-4's used to test certain munitions and still don't put that much detail in my aircraft but maybe I would if I had some of your tools those foils you used for the CRT screens in the cockpits are something interesting maybe you could leave some links to some of your items and tools you use for instance the circle cutting punch and those microbit drill bits !! Thanks David and keep the videos coming very inspiring to watch !!!
I'm currently modelling my own aircraft in 3D and I had a lot of trouble finding good representation on how the landing gear fits into its gear well. By the blurry F-18 image you were using I'm guessing you had similar issues, so thank you for recording your process in such detail!

Wow. Detail like this is going to the point of measuring a coastline. At what point do you stop adding detail? Incredible work, I would like to see you do an open hatch posed gunpla project, and go crazy with this type of mechanical work, tons of opportunity to be creative with imagined technology

All in 1/72 scale. My eyes are hurting just thinking about it. Outstanding work sir. Thanks for sharing

This model would look amazing sitting on a small mirror. This would reflect so much of the detail. And all that wonderful work.

"minor modification" LOL 😂 🤣 😅
I wouldn't be surprised if this thing actually takes flight once it's complete. Amazing work.

Awesome work there Plasmo. You make it look effortless.
David you're a legend mate. What's next, you'll carve your whole entire model from a solid block of plastic??
Thank you, for another excellent modeling/modification video. Great learning material!
In your room tour i saw in your stash a b25g mitchell. I would love to see a build video of it, as there aren't many on youtube
Outstanding. Hats off to you David!

David shows, talks, and I can't do the same, damn it.
Excellent David! I am speechless
Nice to see another video but ive never been a fan of snap-fit models.

Great Scott!
It would be so awesome. If you mod the classic gundam Rx 78. Your crafting is superb

You need to put this model into a diorama where it's landing with flaps down and flaring so the wing and landing gear modifications are visible.
Thank you for the video, I'm learning a lot from them.

Can you please do a Formula 1 diorama. Maybe a pitstop? It would be so cool!
Отличная работа, молодец!!!
Ok David great video like always... Next project?... 1/72 scale? Make the B-2 Spirit with all external and internal details like usually you can do...

Dat accent though, it’s kinda like Irish and Finnish mixed together? Also amazing detail!!
Same kit, but different result..
How great are your hands...
Great videos! After all that modification why you didn't make molds from the bays? Maybe you could resin cast and sell them
Amazing David
