I’ve been feeling extremely tired and had zero sexual feelings for several years. Changed Doctors she did bloodwork I had pretty much zero vitamin B, D and zero testosterone. Been on vitamins for couple months and started my first testosterone injection 3 weeks ago. It took two weeks after injection I fell like a new Man. Energy has come back and now starting to notice the opposite sex again. Testosterone injection has also helped me lose weight. I have lost approximately 10 pounds without trying another 10 and I’ll be right where I should. As far as the injection my lovely Wife is a Nurse who use to teach College courses so she’s the master of painless injections. Enjoyed your video thanks.

Yeah man. I was in a very similar boat. I started using hard drugs extremely early in my teenage years and didn't get clean until I was in my 20s. Seeing as how I had never been a normal adult man I didn't really know what I was supposed to feel like but it certainly wasn't how I was feeling. I always suspected it was a test issue but lack of insurance and doctors thinking I was too young to have had test issues lead to me not being treated. At 35 years old I finally got a doctor to test my test levels and they were on par for a woman. Now I'm 36, started on test and feel the best I have in my ENTIRE life. Truly life altering. I am accomplishing more than I ever have 10 fold. My libido is once again alive and it's helping my various other health issues. I have sleep apnea, which test is supposed to worsen, well it's practically gone. I really wish that the doctors would have looked into this sooner as I feel my entire life up to this point has been a sham. It may even be the reason I turned to harmful drugs in the first place

18 gauge needle is used a lot by EMTs for trauma patients that need fluid directly into the vein ASAP. Try to relax the muscles of choice you are injecting and one more thing to help is to rub the site afterward with the alcohol swab to work it in especially if it's larger bolus. Thank you sir for the advice and the truth is its always a hassle at the pharm.. Or PA or others.

Great video. My biggest annoyance is getting the last dose out of a vile. I have 1 ML viles and that gets me 2 doses. So every other dose is tempting a vile. It's annoying and time-consuming to make sure you get the full dose out. I am using 18g needles to draw the dose. Maybe I should try a 21g. I wish I could get the 10ml viles but they are in short supply where I live and not available.

Just out of curiosity, what is the dosage strength of your testosterone cypionate. I’m guessing 100mg but if you’re only taking .5cc your dose is too low. 50 mg a week would put you on the lower side of average testosterone level. For ideal performance and overall wellbeing you’re looking for between 750-800ng/dl if we’re talking true TRT. You would need to be taking 100 mg weekly to achieve that. Do you do regular blood work to test your levels?

I ended up doing it for him a couple of times. Last time, a few days after the injection, he noticed it had a blister at the site of the location. I think it can also occur if the needle is not inserted deep into the muscle but somehow ends up being just under the skin. injecting too fast in this case will surely cause a blister. But I've slowly massaged it for a few minutes before it gets absorbed.

I'm a XXY cis male and have been on testosterone cypionate 200mg and I self inject into my thigh muscles 1/2 cc every other week. I use the same auto injector Ryan has used in the past. In my opinion, not only are self injections the cheapest way to go, but the easiest to manage. Using an auto-injector is the perfect solution for those of us with needle phobias. My syringe and needle of choice is 1cc syringe and 23 gauge 1-1/2 inches --- but first draw up "T" with an 18 gauge horse needle and switch to the 23 gauge. In the past I've used 21 gauge without any pain. I get a blood test every year at the time of my annual physical. My doctor and I are pleased that I'm not overdosed on "T".

I watched a bunch of UA-cam videos on how to self inject and also had a nurse from my endocrinologist's office show me how to do my first shot. It hurt when they did it, but when I do it, it feels better. The slower you push in the T the less it hurts. @@DavidMccallister65 Occasionally I'll feel a little something afterward, but usually there's no soreness. I've recently lost some weight and I have to say I feel virtually nothing now. I'm not sure why that matters but I don't think it's a coincidence since I inject into my stomach fat, which I have notably lost a lot of.

Legs are full of nerves and veins so using upper glutes for injections is a better option. You can safely inject into your legs, it’s just better to have a doctor show you where for your first injection.

Thank you I need vour help I’m 61, low t mine is 231. I’ve tried several time to give myself injections in my thigh and have botched 5 out of 7 my needle anxiety is ten times worse now. But I know I need the medicine. I’m so ashamed of myself. Everytime I get my bag out I hit a wall. You would think a simple stick wouldn’t be a big deal but it is..
I found a testosterone booster with cypionate testosterone that the vitamin shop owner recommended me when I told him of my severe needle anxiety. It’s call Sass but it’s $129.00 a bottle. I’m desperate . I already talked with my doctor and told me whatever works for me get off the injections and see what this OTC does and let my lab work results see if it works.

I don't normally comment on social media but your post really stood out to me. You're not alone, I also experience intense needle anxiety when it comes to giving myself injections. The shame of not being able to "man up" really exacerbates the stress we're already feeling doing the shot in the first place. I'm sorry to hear you're going through that as well and wanted to let you know that even if it feels hopeless-- remember to give yourself some leeway and kindness. We aren't medical professionals, we can't stick ourselves any better than we can rewire our own houses lol.
Our brains adapted to recognize danger to protect ourselves and now we're having to actively fight against the same protections for our medicine. Going against every cell in our bodies screaming "don't do this" will just take time and patience. I compare it to willingly putting my hands on a hot stove when people don't understand.
You're doing a great job looking for alternatives. One that I found really helped me was using a Xyosted auto injector. This channel has a great video on how easy (and painless) it can be to inject, completely opposite of my experience doing Intramuscular and Subcutaneous injections because of my tremors. Unfortunately, it can be costly, so I'd check with your insurance to see if that's an option. I also know on their website they have an affordability program if that might help you. If you have Tricare, I know that you'll end up paying around $38 for 3 months worth of auto injectors.
I hope this comment finds you well and that your endeavor with Sass works for you. Again, I know how isolating this can feel and you should know that at least somewhere out there, I'm rooting for you. The fact that you're reaching out for help and insight on the problem shows that you're entirely capable of finding a solution that will work for you--never forget your own strength.

The pain of the injection site and soreness for up to five days is too much right now. At least know someone thought enough of me to respond. That means a lot to this 61 Jesus Rocker trying to get his “groove” back.

UGH. I have been doing self injections in my thigh for a year, but they have always come pre-filled, with 1/2 inch 25g needles. Small and simple, no terrifyingly huge needles or messing with measuring out the right amount or air bubbles or any of that. WELL, a few weeks ago they apparently decided to change it up. They sent enough for an entire year, in a little vial. They're not pre-filled, and there's two different sizes of needles for some reason, half of them being 18g 😰😳😳 I am terrified and I have no idea what I'm doing. Am i supposed to use two different needles, one for drawing it up and a different one for injecting? This is all so confusing and everyone says something different

    • @tripleconsonant

I just heard a you-tuber say the lower the needle size, the larger the needle, the higher the needle size the smaller the needle. I thought of that as 1 = 1 inch, and 1/64 = 1 sixty fourth. So a 18 needle is bigger than a 23. I think a larger needle makes it easier to draw out your testosterone from the bottle, and then the 23 size needle hurts less injecting it into your body. I think I have that right. I'd check with your doctor and or pharmacist on dosage and how to administer it properly. How it all works out for you. See my reply - video link that explain measurements by volume.
