I find hyperfine one of the best routes to pass these exams. If you have failed these exams, using hyperfine recaps the content in a nice way with items to do while you answer these questions. But dont expect to pass if you just do hyperfine. Use all the resources you can fine and use hyperfine to recap and refine your knownledge. One of the best investment I have made. Thank you
Shouldn't the "install roofing" portion of the Gantt chart have a start - end relationship with setting the roof trusses? The initial critical path diagram makes it clear that installing the roofing occurs after the trusses have been set, but the Gantt chart has roofing installation happening at the same time you are setting your trusses.
Hi Nancey, I think YOU understand, and the diagram is wrong! In my haste to convert this into a Gantt chart I didn't really question the CPM diagram, but looking at it now I would have to agree with you.
I felt the "7,8,9" with dash line point toward "10" is the confusing part, "7,8,9" here actually doing nothing but represent "10" , why can't we deleted the three dash lines, and connect "3" to "10" directly with three activities: HVAC, ELECT, PLUMB, by using 3 "curvy lines"? This can reduce confusion and make CPM more straightforward
I don’t understand your solution. Replace the dashed lines with curved lines? We can’t go straight from 3-10 because we have to do 7, 8 and 9. These are separate tasks from separate trades that can’t be combined.
your videos are straight to the point, love them, keep them coming!
Thank you! Did you know there are/will be a lot more here?: hyperfinearchitecture.com/arevideos
I'm not an architect, but this was a perfect explanation of the Critical path / Gantt chart for people not familiar with either. Thanks!
Thanks, Garrett and you are very welcome.
incredibly straight forward and useful. Thanks for this!!
You are very welcome!
thank you for making something like this better to understand!

Thank YOU Pablo, and you are very welcome. Congrats on your pass, and glad that I could help you out a bit!

Excellent representation. Thank you!

Yep, looks like I messed that up. The Gantt chart should have the Roofing bar slid over a bid to start at the end of the truss install.
Excellent
Thank you!
time for a new highlighter
ty sir
There's one part I am not understanding, wouldn't you want the roof complete before HVAC & electrical so that it doesn't get rained on?

Hello, what kind of red marker is that you’re using in the video, where did you purchase it? Thanks!
It's a Pentel Sign Pen. I get them on Amazon: amzn.to/3ASMcjr
Are you going to re-upload the revit electrical outlet video? It’s not playing
Yeah I said something incorrect, I will fix it and put it up later this week.
