Thanks for watching in 2024 friends! In case you missed it, here's the extended version of the gray whale, great white shark, & dolphin together. ua-cam.com/video/8AopWDjZNdY/v-deo.htmlsi=NWyQX4UAtpgT99h6
Your twelve minute recap of one year's work is more impressive than all the hours of Shark Week from the past 10 years! As a shark lover I have watched you for several years now and you never cease to impress my family and I. Please keep up the amazing work - I look forward to your contributions to shark knowledge next year!
Great comment! I've just found this amazing channel and the work is so impressive! I really hope it gets way more followers and continues to go that way, it's well deserved.. wow! Thank you for your fabulous work, its so important too 🙏♥️
Wish this was the only way humans can see the life of any creature. I've only been to a zoo and a circus once each...this is far more magical and so much more thoughtful and intriguing. Having people like you in the world ...gives me hope.
I learned while going over the bay bridge with my daughter the other day that she believed “sharks aren’t real” so finding this compilation to show her the absolute realness of sharks was right on time & perfect. Thank you for making this 🎉😊
Carlos, your footage of sharks swimming peacefully does wonders for my mental health. Your hard work has done so much both to improve the public profile of these creatures and advance research into their behaviors. If I were rich I would love to give you monetary support, but what I can give you is my gratitude and appreciation and my best wishes for the new year.
The whiskers of seals can sense those vortex trails at least 30 seconds after a fish passes. Thanks for another year of eye opening (and beautiful) footage.
I grew up in Southern California. I now live inland. Your beautiful videos and narration bring back fond memories. I enjoy the content and your voice. Happy and Healthy New Year!
Thanks for sharing those moments all time with us Carlos. Looking forward to see the project. Really sounds intresting! Happy New Shark Year 2025! 🎉🎉🦈🦈🤍🦈🦈🎉🎉
Wow you got some great footage. I’ve spent my long life fascinated by wildlife. It takes hundreds of hours of time in the environment, and then being aware and watching to see some of the things I’ve seen. We never had cameras with us, or easily accessible when in remote places,, it’s often too difficult. Most of my most unique experiences or those shared to me by family or friends are simply word of mouth. I grew up listening to stories from my grandparents, and we are from a VERY remote coastal place, with a small population. Becuase I’m so fascinated with this type of stuff, it’s really a big addition that like minded people are recording these events and animals. Terrific videos.
Really enjoyed the content for 2024. Thank you for bringing us these wonderful images of sharks and whales and other marine life. Looking forward to 2025!
I was born in 1971 and my parents thought it would be a good idea to take me to see Jaws in theaters. I have no desire to go into the ocean, so i am grateful to have found your channel thank you for all you hard work the ocean, and its creatures are a truly magnificent place
Beautiful footage. The level of detail in terms of video quality, as well as the clarity in marine life behavior, is phenomenal. I can safely say you've done more for both science and education than just about any far larger organization. I look forward to another year.
These videos are so fascinating. Shark week can't even come close to your coverage. And why did I just find your channel last week I'm always interested in sharks and never saw your channel. I'm so glad I did favorite channel on youtube.
I just love your videos, and also your approach to showing the beauty and complexity of these amazing animals as well as their fellow marine life. Have a great 2025.
Another fabulous year of footage, 5 whites leaving a stricken seal was really something special, I'm really looking forward to your expeditions and observations in 2025, thanks for another year of the best white shark narration and footage out there. Happy New Year to you and your family!
Many firsts I've learned from watching your content! I love learning something new everyday no matter what the subject is. Thank You for your hard work and long hours!
This is my favorite drone/white shark channel and I tell everyone I know about it! Keep up the incredible work and happy new year! FYI, I wonder if a speaker on the drone would help in the close encounter situation or would it just be drowned out by the ocean...???
I am from Australia and you have some of the best Great white footage I have seen. I was an Abalone diver in my younger days and saw my fair share of sharks but not many White pointers as we called them. Cannot wait for your footage in 2025.😊😊
I stumbled over your channel last year and have truly enjoyed all of your content. Your hard work, attention to detail, and obvious love for Great White sharks makes watching these videos a joy! I have your Calming footage saved so when I’m having a bad time I can watch it and feel better about the world again. Thank you So Much for all that you do! Happy New Year & looking forward to seeing what you bring us in 2025!
Your videos are awesome. I was just curious about something. Maybe you could try it out. If you were on a kayak and paddled backwards, would a Great White follow thinking your forward is now your backward?
Carlos you have filmed some incredible, important amazing footage of these magnificent sharks, I am so looking forward to watching your videos in 2025, Happy New Year 🫶🏻, tfs 🇬🇧
Thanks, Carlos. You're videos are superb. i have acquired, while mourning for my mom, many hours of relaxation through watching the white sharks you capture. I hope the new year brings many more interesting encounters with "Bruce's" kin. I like Jaws, even though I've been pro-shark since I was little. I think, for me , it's about the streamlined grace of a white than the kill count. Any more about very young juveniles? That was an incredible shot. Happy New Year, one and all!
Watching these videos is the only thing that gave me any peace about my son being a lifeguard on Huntington Beach each summer. We all have seen too many shark movies, sadly.
Love your channel. Thank you for all you do, bringing attention to this complex species. On a side note, I hope you are safe from the fires. This is apocalyptic. You and everyone affected by the fire are in my thoughts.
Thank you for the great and inspiring work you do! I wish the awareness of these sharks' complex natures existed back in the 70's when Jaws was released. The closest beach (Torrey Pines) to my home in San Diego is a well known white shark nursery where humans and white sharks coexist together.
Superb. This channel is absolute class. All the best for 2025. Diolch yn fawr - (Thank you very much) from Wales 🏴. (The country not the mammals!) 👍
Thank you for this amazing, beautiful and passionate work! I was wondering if you observed more closely their ability to shift color / camouflage depending on their mood?
I absolutely love your videos! I have always had a huge fascination with sharks🦈. I'm curious, have you ever witnessed a shark attack on a human while doing this?
I live in Sonoma County and have surfed, fished, and dived the Northern California Coast for over 40 years. I have at least a dozen direct white shark experiences - over half being extremely aggressive incidents. I have personally know 6 fellow local surfers that have survived extreme white shark attacks half of which were obvious predation attempts. I as well as a few fellow fishermen/surfers have developed some theories into white shark behavior. It would be interesting to share notes. Feel free to reach out if you would like to know the stories.
Can you share how you survived half a dozen extremely aggressive incidents? Sounds fascinating!! And your theories about their behaviour, if that’s not too much to ask :)
Awesome footage, Carlos! I'm noticing when white sharks are unsure about what they're examining, they revert to the sub adult white shark habit of trying to stay behind the object and away from the toothy end.
Such amazing videos. Perhaps you should contact some of the top drone manufacturers and see if a small speaker could be fitted to the drone? Essentially designing a drone for shark spotting and audible warning functionality to aid swimmers. Add a small microphone at the control end and off you go..
10:09 It makes sense that sharks would be able to smell (or otherwise sense) domoic acid poisoning and recognize that it wouldn’t be good for them to eat a victim of it-especially if the causes of that were happening before humans started messing things up Beautiful. Thank you for the opportunity to see this
Just a thought; maybe you could create a universal flight pattern for drones that warns swimmers of danger. For example an up and down flight followed by a tight circle.
People who paddle board around Great White Sharks are asking for it. We had a few knocked off their boards and were very lucky to not sustain injuries. It's only a matter of time.😱🇦🇺 What I just watched was insanity!
This may be a stupid question but what is the difference between a white shark and a great white shark? Are they 2 seperate species or is it the size? Always love watching your videos, Carlos. I have such an appreciation for sharks because of you. Thanks❤❤
There no such thing as a stupid question. Here's a segment I covered that should answer you question. ua-cam.com/video/dgRU9rBwKvI/v-deo.htmlsi=oKh4WEYQlOBVyU4p&t=72
This video should be titled "The Best of the Best..." ! I had to look up domoic acid poisoning, its cause and how it enters the food chain, because I hadn't heard of it. The algae responsible thrive in warm waters so could the rise in poisoned shellfish be another symptom of global warming and increased water temperatures? If the poison attacks the sea lion's nervous system, this might be why the sharks were curious but cautious about preying on the stricken seal. As sharks can detect prey by sensing their electrical field, I am wondering if the poision affected that sea lion's nervous system, causing a disruption to its electrical field, this is what the sharks were detecting and why they were put off. If that's the case then that's good news for sharks but, if there is a risk of eating a poisoned sea lion and being poisoned as a result, it's not good news for orcas.

Same. Has me missing Redondo Beach & the fresh ocean air.
Love this man please keep doing this forever
You're an inspiration, dude.
Thank you, I appreciate that!
why because he owns a drone and is lucky enough to have apex predators on the doorstep and nothing to do all day.
I think this is the only channel where i wouldnt mind reuploaded or reruns of this kind of content. Really enjoy this channel.
Bedankt
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for all your time and effort in 2024

Absolutely love your work. I check it out regularly. Most appreciated. That seal they passed up may hold a secret to a repellant?
Love your Videos. Thank you 🤍
Fascinating and beautiful. They really are majestic creatures, having said that I won't be getting in beside them anytime soon.
