Plucking pattern: pluck down with thumb on A, pluck up with pointing finger on G, down thumb on A, up on B, back to A. Just have to pluck rly fast to get that roll sound
This would be more helpful if you split it up. Tell the audience what fret to play on, as you did. Then, explain the chords a bit better. Next, the finger picking pattern (which is extremely important in this song to keep the rhythm while changing chords). Then go section by section in the song as to how it should flow together. Lastly, end it with just the instrumental of the whole song. Genuinely think I’d watch more of your videos if it was more organized and easier to follow because you have both the talent and teaching voice!
So you're strumming downward with your thumb on the root note, Then using your other fingers you're going to Pluck the high E, B and G strings In succession 3 times.
Hey Everyone! THANKS FOR SUBSCRIBING and YOUR SUPPORT!!!!! I know people always ask about things like Patreon, Tabs, etc, so I left stuff in the description box above. Also, I have links for other stuff and socials to check out!! Thanks for Liking, Watching and SUBSCRIBING!!
This may be an odd request but would you be able to do this on a ukulele? It would have such a sweet smooth sound to it as well..... hopefully you can answer! Thank you so much!
I know people are super confused about the plucking patter but honestly if you get a pettern that sounds mostly right itll sound right since it's so complex. THANK YOU for this tutorial! way more clear and helpful than reading tabs that only give me confusing chords
@@kaydenlucasphoto not sure why my guy is in all caps, but yeah this works. I would also suggest buying a capo. not very expensive and opens us a whole world for you
I agree that this could be a great wedding song but it could be played for a different reason. Say for example someone could play it to a friend who’s feeling down.
Ignore the top and bottom strings (the high and low e) and counting from the A string being string 1, the D string being 2, G string being 3, and B string being 4 The picking pattern would be (1,3,2,4)(1,3,2,4) (1,3,2,4) (1,3,2,4) I hope this helps but probably not lol
@@sherwinelvina Dude it's hard to learn when there isn't any specific details on how to do this, and trust me I suck. But I am grateful, I just want to improve, and I am aware for your reason to say this, so thanks mate; it's nice of you to stand up for others, most people don't.

What if you don't have access to a capo?
A HAIRBAND OR ELASTIC BAND HOLDING A PENCIL OR PEN OVER THE FRET. YOU MIGHT NEED TO TIE IT TWICE. I USED TO DO IT ALL THE TIME WHEN I DIDNT HAVE CAPO
